Up .5lbs today. I can see how people get frustrated with weight loss. 😤 I ended my day in a clear deficit last night of at least 400 calories, yet I’m up .5 today. 🤷🏼♀️ It could be water retention or it could be that I wasn’t in enough of a deficit yesterday. My calorie intake was a bit higher even though I remained in a deficit. And I didn’t burn as many calories yesterday since it was my day off (even though I still did sprint intervals for 30 min) I could also be plateauing since I’m getting down to my last 2lbs to lose. Your body fights back when it thinks you’re losing too much. Down another pound this morning. This leaves me with 2 more pounds to go until I reach my goal of 135lbs (5’8” tall) It’s taken me 3 weeks to get down 13lbs. I’ve been staying strictly to my plan and posting each meal every day. There have been no short cuts here. It’s simply a matter of being in tune with what you’re consuming each day. I haven’t gone hungry. I’ve eaten good food...slipped up once 🍕and there have been days where I’m leaving too much time in between meals because I’ve gotten distracted/busy with work...but the plan works. It’s basic science. Burn calories + stay under your BMR intake = weight loss. Having said that, I know it’s not as easy as it seems. Training your brain is just as, ...actually MORE difficult than training your body.
