“Fine enough. It’s not hard to keep it when no one in your pack wants it.”

“Ten?” he questioned, his gaze shifting slightly as her fingers stilled before looking back up at her. He wasn’t a shy man by anyones standard but he was cautious of how she might react to his mark. “Losing sounds so permanent. I prefer to think of it as being temporarily blocked from it,” 

His lips quirked up at one corner, “What a wonderful thought. Maybe I should through a fairy land themed party - only of course if you’d be my fairy queen,”

“X is ten in roman numerals, right?” She could smell the concern wafting from him. “That’s a very optimistic way to think about it.”

“I think I’d have to recuse myself. Alpha and fairy queen seems like too much power.”

“The antlers look nice on you. Very fairy prince.”
