Modern AU Genji below [WARNING: personal headcannons for MY own modern AU !!]

My modern AU genji is disabled and uses a wheelchair occasionally. He has prosthetics but sometimes he just preferrs one over the other.

Hes actually like... kind of mid at games. He talks shit and beats all of his friends (except Hana ofc) but he could never play pro.

His backstory stays relatively similar. Hanzo was manipulated by the clan to kill him, etc etc.

Angela was his lead surgeon but once that was over they just went their separate ways as patient/doctor.

Genji was super edgy about the state of his body and the betrayal of his family for a while. Especially while in PT + rehab with a small group medically overseen by Moira. This is where he met Reyes and his adoptive son Cass.

Cass was the only person who he actually saw relatively eye to eye with and they became friends.

I have more but I need to think on it more
