Starting up fallout 4 again on pc, any mods you can suggest?
Sure, let me check my 183 mods installed hahaha
1. Sim Settlements and it’s add-ons, Industrial Revolution and Rise of the Commonwealth. It’s one of the best mods concerning settlements. I love their city plans and I also love building settlements using their modular stuff (even tho I’m pretty bad at it haha).
2. Diamond City Expansion - it adds a bunch of new areas inside Diamond City, and it makes it feel more alive imo. It was recently updated and I still haven’t explored everything added, but I really enjoyed it so far. Fair warning, it has a red light district, complete with a stripper pole where you can win money, go figure.
3. Pet any Dog. Need I say more?
4. Functional Displays - I just recently installed this mod and I’m super excited to find collectibles across the wasteland.
5. Faster Workshop - this has changed everything, it used to take up to minutes to load into the workshop. Now it’s almost instant.
6. More from where that came from - Diamond City Radio Edition - makes the playlist less repetitive, adds a ton of cool songs.
7. Unlimited companion framework - you can get all the companions at once. I got weird stuff with this mod, like when you visit Kellog’s memories, I had all the companions there with me, it was hilarious. Now I travel with Hancock, Deacon and Dogmeat.
8. Unofficial fallout 4 patch - essential imo and also required I think for some mods.
9. True storms: wasteland edition - I like the atmosphere it adds, like sandy storms or fogs where you can’t see shit.
10. Configurable new dialogue - brings back the old dialogue system where you could see the answers instead of yes, no, sarcastic.
11. Eli’s armour compendium - really cool new outfits and armors, she has multiple mods that I would recommend.
12. Icebreaker - Settlements - Settler Dialogue Overhaul - makes settlers more alive.
13. Player Comments and Head Tracking - makes the character you are playing more alive, like actually responding to comments.
14. Press X to respond - I love this mod, you can actually tell people to fuck off.
15. CBBE - build the body you want for your character. Can be considered NSFW, but it has the option of never nude.
And I have a lot more installed, if you want mods for the player character like clothing and textures for skin, eyes, hair, etc. Some silly mods like fishing (I have a weird obsession with fishing in video games XD), commonwealth vehicles, retextures of clothing or new clothing, nsfw mods, player homes, overhauls. I’ve seen some newer mods that I would like to install but haven’t yet cause I’m starting to be afraid of destroying the game with too many mods, just recently I had a lot CTDs while opening the pip-boy and I managed to figure out it was black texture mod for the pipboy. Which is weird, cause technically it was just a retexture but hey. I sometimes manage to brick the game but I really enjoy cracking the puzzle and figuring out how to fix it so it works again.
