Ever since Lexie & Sloan,Slexie left the show, Greys never recovered back to double digits & has only a little over 8 million viewers a week. They left a massive hole in the show! They were part of the Magic of Greys! Meredith having Alzheimer's is a way to bring these two back or at least keep the door open when they're not busy with other shows! :) Missing you Lexie Grey!!!

It's gonna be interesting how they're gonna bring back Derek & tie up all the clues and hints to Meredith's Alzheimer illness. I do look forward to that day when MerDer finally reunites once again, hopefully! It's gonna bring back so, so many feels and emotions! Their light, love, dreams & hope is so powerful, that their impact will be greatly felt throughout every screen they come on! Heck, multiply that if they bring back fan favorites like George, Izzie, Lexi, Sloan & Addison! :)

This I agree with 100 %! They do want to control who the viewer shall root for next. It amazes me how easily the viewers will do what they’re told & root for another couple, another couple and another couple, without realizing they are being manipulated so easily to do so.

It is strange if that’s how they are acting. I mean without the fans, they really wouldn’t be where they are today, so they really do need a reality check if this is true.

To say that a friend or ‘your person’ is more important than the love of your life or your husband baffles me! Shouldn’t everyone that you care about in your life be equally important? Why are they pitting Derek against Christina? Why again this hate for men or a man or a McDreamy like Derek? This is so bizarre to me and unnerving this behavior from Shondaland. You can actually feel the tone and negative energy spewing out of Meredith’s voice and words when she said “I am the ‘sun’ and he can go suck it!” Again, this is very out of character for Meredith to even say this and having such anger & hate for men is disturbing. After everything Derek has done for her, been there for her, supported her, cared for her & loved her throughout the seasons, she would have never acted this way & would have found a way to both be extraordinary, even if it meant doing it separately for a while.

As far as I can tell, the backlash from Derek's "death" has not hit Greys yet, but it's still early. Problem is, every time the show mentions Derek or has flashbacks of Derek, it seems to bring in the viewers. I do believe thou as soon as they stop mentioning him, stop using his flashbacks and stop using him to promote the show anymore, then the ratings will start to drop even more.

Do I think they will stop using him? Not if Derek isn't even "dead" and it's all in Mer's Alzheimer mind. Not if he plans to come back to the show & not if his story helps tell Meredith's Alzheimer storyline. 

Sure this all could be a ploy to keep viewers watching, if they mention Derek enough and show Derek enough, viewers will continue to tune in. That's another reason why I don't watch Greys anymore; I refuse to be tricked into watching a show with empty promises.

What I would have loved to see is more on location storylines. We never got to see Meredith & Derek in Seattle. His love for ferryboats and we never saw them ever on one? What about the Space Needle, a romantic dinner for two? Meredith is from Seattle, she could have taken Derek on a romantic tour of Seattle and then they could have come across a dire situation which required their medical skills to help save lives.

How to fix Greys Anatomy #65:Introduce on location storylines for the original characters in the actual city of Seattle and include MerDer storylines in Seattle too! :)

How to fix Greys Anatomy #66: More challenging fights between Meredith & Derek. More kisses in various locations in and out of the hospital. More "I Love You's". More MerDer surgeries together. More MerDer passion action and more gifts between Meredith & Derek! :) Has Meredith ever given Derek a loving gift?

After that unbelievable depressing episode in season 11, episode 21, that was the final straw for me. From now on, I would skip past the so called "deaths" of fan favorite characters when re-watching Greys and imagine them all alive and happy somewhere else. No more & no way is Greys gonna be ruined for me. Kind of like how I ignore the Star Wars prequels & imagine it was never ever made. As much as that was a slap to all Star Wars fans, it was a slap to Star Wars itself & the originals.

MerDer will forever be remembered as a masterpiece of a love story before all the tragic events in season 11 which I choose also to ignore. I'm still hoping thou, that Mer has Alzheimer's and Derek will be back, because he never really left. He somewhere out there finding a cure for Alzheimer's to save Meredith, the love of his life. I'm hoping this is all part of Shondaland's plan & this would be a way to bring back other fan favorites too that have "died", but really haven't, because it's all in Mer's head.

When watching Meredith & Derek again in season 1, I forgot how wonderful happy they were and we got to see so much of them! :) I couldn't stop smiling & it was like reading a romance novel, I didn't want it to end! :) We so need a MerDer Movie, I kid you not!!! :)

Episode 9, Who's Zoomin Who, is the drama Greys was all about! Not over the top drama, no one died, no one left, it was shocking, but the good kind of shock, unexpected & most important of all, it left the viewer wanting more! :) The last episode of season 1 pulled in over 20 million viewers! No wonder it was a hit show back then! :) Compare that to Season 11 and final episode 25, it brought in a little over 8 million viewers. With every new season it keeps on dropping further down. Maybe it's time to revisit the original Greys Anatomy & Awaken The Force of it's Magic! ;)

Season 1, The Best Of Meredith & Derek Part 1! :)

This was such a joy watching & dissecting season 1. I still have yet to finish up a summary of the things I missed. Looking back at the beginning does shed light on what's missing since the end of season 8 and the start of season 9. We got to see so much more of Meredith, Meredith & Derek, Meredith & Christina and Meredith & the Magic 5! Now you're lucky if the episodes ever revolve around Meredith like it used to back in the day at all.

Seriously, If you wanna know why Greys Anatomy had over 20 million viewers at one point, check out seasons 1-4 which are my favorite seasons and are the key to gaining back the viewers that are lost. The magic formula is there, waiting to be rediscovered and be put back into motion. Mind you, you can't just pick and choose the bits to use to try and fix season 12. If you want the magic back, you're gonna have to do it the right way and include all the magic pieces to the Greys Anatomy puzzle.

Season 1 was so much light, fun, romance, drama and some action! Even the intro to Greys gave you the impression that nothing seriously bad was gonna happen! Good times! :)
