The Crown- season 4 episodes 3-6

Poor Princess Diana- she learnt very fast that being married into the Royal family isn’t all crowns , tiaras and fairytales after all- but loneliness, dejection, being ignored and bullied, and being the subject of jealousy. I really feel heartbroken for her, especially since I know how this is all going to end for her 😕

In other news- Margaret Tatcher very much favoring her son over her daughter irks me 😅

Also- how on earth can an unkempt commoner break into Buckingham Palace not once, but twice, and end up in the Queen’s personal bedroom? The fact that this is based on the true story of Michael Fagan really intrigues me 😆😅

Such an intense episode!

Gosh- poor Nic and Conrad- I’m glad that at least both mother and baby survived this episode. Hopefully they’ll survive the next episode too.

😞 Excellent performances this episode by both Matt and Emily and the rest of the cast. I’m glad that they’re all there for Conrad and Nic.

On the other hand- poor Cain- it seems like karma is getting back at him.

I love Nic and Conrad and am so happy for them that they’re having a baby girl together. 😊They look so happy making the announcement ❤️ I’m so worried about the next episode though after watching the preview 😞

I’m so glad too that Mina and Austin are becoming a couple. Mina proposing to Austin was hilarious but at the same time sad- as the threat of her possibly being deported is real.

Poor Devon needs someone to care for him. He needs to stop pushing people away. I’m glad that he made up with his mother in the end. I hope he finds someone who makes him happy.

I love Bell and Kit together. The patient with a brain tumor who stalked and attacked Bell was creepy though.

I loved Trinity and her mom and am glad both of them are ok in the end.

Poor Devon- it is obvious that he is still not over his father’s death. I’m glad he finally admitted to Conrad about it.

The final scene is my favorite! I love Conrad and Nic and am so glad for them. I really hope she carries the baby to term this time. They’re going to make amazing parents indeed 😊

It was so heartwarming to see them both so happy about the baby 😀

Mina and Austin- it is interesting to see how they handle their differences in opinion regarding Cain. I understand why Mina wants to report Cain- he is endangering his patients lives, but I also understand Austin not wanting to make such a rash decision regarding Cain.

I am liking Bell more now, he is showing his soft side more, and I also like his friendship with Kit. It’s a pity that his ex step son doesn’t want to forgive him.

I don’t really care about the congresswoman Nichelle who lied to the doctors about her affair with her bodyguard James- a lie which almost cost her her life.

Katherine Heigl is Team Jo.

The former Grey’s Anatomy actress is weighing in for the first time on the ABC drama’s decision last year to reunite Alex and Izzie as a means to explain the abrupt departure of Justin Chambers.

Asked about the twist by Entertainment Tonight, Heigl mused, “Wasn’t [Alex] with someone?” — referring to his then-bride, Jo. Heigl, who maintained that she did not see the episode in question, then added, “Listen, isn’t that an a**hole move?”

Grey’s showrunner Krista Vernoff previously acknowledged that she was backed into something of a corner when it came to writing out Alex, since Chambers was unavailable to shoot a proper exit for his character.

“At the end of the day, there were three choices,” the EP explained to TVLine. “Kill Alex off camera; have Alex be alive and in Seattle — and still married to Jo — and we just never see him; or [reunite him] with Izzie.”

As we learned in the March 5 episode, Vernoff went with Option 3, which she saw as the only viable one. Killing Alex would’ve been “cruel to everyone — particularly Meredith and Jo,” she says of the character’s BFF and wife, respectively. “There was no way to not put those characters through gut-wrenching, ongoing grief if we had killed Alex off camera.”

Heigl — who will next be seen in Netflix’s 10-episode drama Firefly Lane — told ETt here was little chance she would ever return to Grey’s. “I would never say never,” she hedged, before adding, “but it’s not likely.”

Although the COVID storyline is also being implemented in this show, but I really love the fact that they show life post COVID. This gives us hope that there will be life post-COVID and that one fine day in the future we’ll be able to kiss and hug each other again without wearing masks and hold huge elegant weddings once again.

Speaking of weddings, the ConNic wedding in the future storyline was so beautiful ❤️

The flashbacks of the battle against COVID was so heartbreaking but so real indeed. Numerous people are still dying of COVID, so many people have lost their lives to COVID including healthcate workers and yet some others don’t care. Devon losing his beloved hardworking father was so sad to watch. 😞 I’m so glad that both Kit and nurse Hundley survived the virus and Hundley even survived being intubated. I love the scene where the hospital staff were all being applauded as they walked out of the hospital.

I’m glad that the next episode seems to be in a post COVID timeline though.

Another heartbreaking episode.

I love Maggie and Amelia’s thought provoking conversation. It is true- black people are tired of being ignored and treated as disposable and are more prone to succumb to Covid-19 due to lower socioeconomic status. Phenomenal acting by Kelly McCreary. You can feel Maggie’s emotions.

I also loved Tom breaking the rules to visit Meredith in her room and their light hearted banter. Exactly what they both needed, some cheering up.

Teddy needs to sort out her own mess and decide what actually makes her happy.

At least Jo has discovered what makes her happy.

I love Richard and DeLuca looking out for Bailey.

I hope that the trafficker Opal will be caught by the police after being tipped off by the DeLuca siblings.

I really hope that Meredith will survive being placed on ventilator support. 🙏 Many Covid-19 patients do not survive it. 😞

Ellen Pompeo Is All About Love After Winning Female TV Star | E! People’s Choice Awards

Grey’s Anatomy‘s Meredith may have trouble giving up the ghost — of her late husband, that is — now that they have been reunited in what returning cast member Patrick Dempsey describes as a “COVID dream.”

TV’s No. 2-rated drama sent jaws plummeting to the floor at the close of its two-hour Nov. 12 season premiere, when, after being found collapsed in the hospital parking lot, a clad-in-white Mer appeared at an idyllic beach and spotted her dead husband down shore, waving to her.

In the wake of the surprising encore, Grey’sshowrunner Krista Vernoff told the Los Angeles Times, “We will see more of [Derek] this season. This was not just a cameo. He will appear three more times.”

And now, on Wednesday’s episode of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Dempsey himself suggested that those multiple appearances won’t come all at once/back-to-back, but instead be sprinkled around Season 17.

Asked about the length of Derek’s “resurrection,” Dempsey told DeGeneres, “That’s a good question, I’m not sure how many [episodes],” before claiming: “I know I’m throughout this season. He comes back to visit.”

Dempsey also echoed his previous characterization of the mysterious nature of the Mer-Der reunion, saying that McDreamy is visiting his widow “in her COVID dream.”
