Griddy's is an Umbrella Academy Roleplay and Fan Server for fans of the show that are 18 and older. 

We are explicitly anti incest and anti proship here and do not tolerate any of either from members.  

There are channels for chatting, meta and headcanon talk, speculation, official show news and more which are open to everyone.

We talk both about fandom and general things together, sometimes play games or watch things together. Participate as much or as little as you want, no judgement here!

We are also a RP optional server, with the ability to write in character in both prose and text-style rps, after submitting a writing sample for an available character.

Writing at Griddy's

Looking to write and roleplay The Umbrella Academy? We’d love to have you! We are taking applications for both Brellas and Sparrows!

Here's who's currently available.

Guidelines/Rules:

If you would like to join Griddy's Doughnuts as a writer, please intend on being active, writing at least once a week.  Obviously, if something comes up and keeps you from it, that's fine, but a missing sibling can throw a wrench in a story or even a group chat scenario.  

If you are not active for more than two weeks without explanation, your character role will be removed and that character will be up for grabs again.  If you give me a heads up though, we can definitely figure something out! The only ghost we allow here is Ben. :)

Of course, as with the rest of the server, you must be 18 and absolutely no prosh!pping or in*est tolerated. At all.

Please be willing/able to write paragraph or multi paragraph responses. Other than in group chat/texting scenarios it is assumed you'll be writing in third person, paragraph form.

For the writing sample, feel free to write whatever you want, preferably from the POV of the character you are auditioning for.  

If you need a prompt, please see this post.  But don't feel inclined to use it if you already have an idea! The writing sample should be at least 250 words.
