Hi! Sorry to bother you (I’m assuming your ask box will have lots of messages like this), but in light of Itch.io’s de-indexing of adult content, I was wondering if there was another site or way to play the Br<3ken Colors demo? Or where you’ll upload the game, should this ban stick around?

Thank you for bringing attention to what's going on with itch.io. It’s a really difficult and frustrating time for all indie developers whose games include adult content. We’re all upset. Any form of censorship, especially when it’s just about fictional material, is a serious threat to creative freedom and the right to express ourselves through these mediums. And that’s all the more true when the content doesn’t even break any laws.

If you haven’t seen this petition yet, please take a moment to sign it to show your disagreement with the policies of the payment processors. No one should get to decide what you’re allowed to buy with your hard-earned money.

Tell MasterCard, Visa & Activist Groups: Stop Controlling What We Can Watch, Read, or Play

Blastic and I have decided to wait and see what happens next with itch.io. It's really hard to find an alternative platform when payment processors like these have control over most of the market. We’re currently using PayPal for payments, but as we all know, they’re not much better than Visa and Mastercard when it comes to this kind of thing.

The link to our game still works via Twitter (I tested it), so I asked Blastic to include that same link on her Tumblr blog so people can still find us.

And just a quick personal update: I’ve been dealing with some health issues lately (including an outer ear infection), so it’ll take a little longer until I can start answering asks again. Thank you all so much for your continued support, and for the kind messages and well wishes—you're honestly the best ❤️

To those who are starting to get impatient and sending not-so-friendly messages to Blastic: please stop. It doesn’t help anyone. All it does is demotivate us and add unnecessary stress. Of course you’re allowed to be frustrated, we get it, but taking it out on us won’t speed anything up. Our RL doesn’t magically rearrange itself to meet your demands. I just wanted to say that again, thanks for reading. Hope you’re all doing well! See you around ❤️

I'm so sorry peeps 😭

I actually planned to be back in January, but I ran into some technical issues— blue screens galore! (I’d been dealing with them since last year, but they weren't so frequent then.) I ended up taking my PC in for repairs, which took longer than expected, and I thought the problem was finally fixed… but then, just yesterday, another blue screen 😭 It’s driving me crazy! And I'm really not the type who likes posting via phone all the time.

At least I had a few days off in February, so I can share the next sneak peek with you. I really hope I’ll be able to answer your questions again soon. So sorry for the long wait! 🙏 Thank you so much for your continued support! Let me smooch all of you 😙<3

You said MC will have …AHEM…moments of *weakness* where things can get a bit…🌶️, so… I was wondering, without giving out spoilers or anything, how many do you plan on scripting in total?

oof... I really can't give any information about the number of sex scenes, but there will be quite a few 😳

but what I can tell you is that it will go in this direction in both routes:

MC can either be a virgin or have sexual experience (yes, MC has mentioned having had past relationships but that doesn't necessarily mean they had sex, right? ^^)

MC is allowed to be horny and express it

MC can be submissive or dominant (no doms allowed in DG's route tho)

MC is allowed to enjoy sex without (serious) shame or judgement

I always wanted to make games that have that kind of sex positivity because a lot of MC's are usually good virgins who are too passive, and rarely get the chance to show how much they want their man ❤️‍🔥

so yeah, I hope you will enjoy all of this when the time comes ^o^
