Damon: A shy MC is cute to him and feels safe to be around. At first, though, he might mistake your shyness for dislike. "Is MC scared of me? Did I do something wrong?" Thankfully, stalking you would quickly reveal that you act that way with everyone, not just him. That's when his worries start to fade and his curiosity takes over.

He'd spend a lot of time wondering what you're thinking. If you avoided him one day, he'd probably overanalyze it. He'd learn you like a language. He'd want to know what it takes to make you finally look at him. Despite being a little shy himself, he'd usually be the one approaching you. He'd chat about all sorts of things—many of them topics he secretly knows you're interested in. He'd tell you he'd love to hear your voice more often, and he'd be thrilled whenever you opened up to him.

Watching you grow more comfortable around him and become more talkative is something he finds absolutely adorable. You aren't giving everyone that side of yourself. And that would make him feel special~

DG: Shy people are fun to tease. He'd invade your personal space, make sudden movements, say the most unhinged things in the calmest voice—just to see a reaction. "Hello? Anyone home?" *waves hand in front of your face* "Relax. I don't bite unless you ask nicely~" That said, he's not a patient person. If the shy phase stretched into genuine avoidance of him specifically for too long, he'd get bored or annoyed. But if you're just shy in general? He can work with that. And if you eventually opened up and got talkative? He'd find it hilarious. "Oh great, now it won't shut up. I liked you better when you were a statue." (He's lying of course ;3)

Rasmus: Naturally, he'd be a little annoyed. He wouldn't have the patience to deliberately coax you out of your shell. "Did somebody steal your tongue or are you always like this?" Since he can't get much out of you verbally, he'd have to pay attention to what you're doing instead. He's trying to figure you out, after all. Rasmus can be surprisingly observant, even when he's being an ass. He'd tease and provoke you just like he would any other MC, but with a shy one, he might occasionally resort to passing notes to make things a little easier. Months later, when you finally start talking his ear off? He'd be visibly startled the first time it happens. Probably say something like: "Gods, you do have a voice." But he'd listen. The shift from silence to constant chatter would feel like earned trust to him, and he'd guard it jealously ^^

and I think my previous posts already answers this. my views on fiction don't depend on whether I personally enjoy a particular trope. if I only defended fictional topics that I happened to like myself, that wouldn't be much of a principle. you're free to dislike certain fictional content, you're also free to dislike me. but I'm not interested in sorting people into "good" and "bad" categories based solely on what fiction they read or write. as for your last question, fictional content can exist for many different reasons. sometimes it's written for catharsis, some for horror, some for drama, some for exploration, and some simply because they find the subject interesting. there isn't one universal reason. and I'm not particularly interested in ranking people's motivations. I'd rather judge people by how they treat real people than by why they engage with a particular piece of fiction ^^

I don't think there would be a breakup. MC is still more important to him than his desire to have kids. it's fine if you don't want any. you can still be happy together either way <3

hmm, I think part of it comes with age and experience. when I was younger, I cared a lot more about whether other people would think I'm weird. at some point I realized that everyone is weird. some people are just better at hiding it than others :P that said, I don't think you need to force yourself to talk about these things if you're uncomfortable. not every interest, fantasy, kink, or fictional topic needs to become a public discussion. you're allowed to keep parts of yourself private. and to be fair, some people will judge you. that's just reality. there are people I wouldn't discuss certain topics with either. trust is important. what matters is finding people who can have those conversations without immediately assuming that fiction equals reality, or that an interest in a topic automatically says something terrible about your character. so my answer is basically: I got comfortable with the fact that not everyone will understand me, and I stopped feeling responsible for convincing them. also, if someone thinks you're a weirdo because you mentioned CNC in a discussion about fiction, that's probably not a conversation worth having in the first place ;b

nah, it's fine. I already answered this one on ZAQA before, except for Vito. we stick to realistic sizes because we care about MC's holes xD

Damon: 16-17cm (around 6.3–6.7 inches)

Rasmus: 14–16 cm (around 5.5–6.3 inches)

DG: 14-15cm (around 5.5–5.9 inches) Vito: 13-14cm (around 5.1–5.5 inches)

*Vito has the biggest girth out of the four, tho ;3

The amount of people misunderstanding what I have to say is genuinely disheartening. I did not make that ask to say that we should censor, restrict, or crucify people for reading or writing about taboo topics and it hurts to see my point misconstrued. I like your input Holy and some of the responses, but I mainly said that as a “hey, maybe it’s best to keep an eye out on things that border into unsafe territory and patterns of thinking.” For example, I’ve been seeing an uproar of people that have been supporting taboo topics while saying that they don’t have the capability of harming people in real life. While I don’t think people read taboo with the intention of reenacting what they see, I feel like it’s harmful to endorse and blindly support things that could be dangerous and I feared you might have had a similar thought pattern to a mutual I had to block (luckily you don’t, thank God!). I am glad you have the critical thinking skills to question media, but have enough empathy to understand certain ways of thinking. Thank you for that, and for not rushing to demonize me and my point, which I thought was quite clear :/

One thing I find fascinating about DG is that despite his seemingly smooth social skills, part of him also shared a certain amount of naivety like his mother. He likes fun (whether is killing or making pranks), curious about new stuffs, gets grumpy when he loses a game, his emotions are pure and straightforward. But unlike Helen, who's been hidden and sheltered from dangers, he's more sensitive because he's been through pain. Both his friendliness and destructiveness are ways to shield himself from getting hurt, because the world is dangerous and mother needs his protection. Deep down, just like Damon, he's lonely and seek companion, except he's not looking for true love, but someone he can trust or feel safe around (which is probably why he preferred someone vulnerable and within his control), and while this friendship does have certain amount of manipulation, I think DG and Damon understand how it feels like to have no one on your side, and that's why they become besties.

In relation, when a lot of people who believe that it is morally wrong to even depict anything problematic even when not glorifying anything they also tend to argue for censorship. This censorship doesn't just stop at explicit or violent content, either. Itchio still has LGBTQ+ games de indexed that are PG. This topic is tricky.

yep, that's part of why I'm generally wary of censorship as a solution. because we know people rarely agree on what should or shouldn't be allowed.

one person wants explicit sexual content removed. another wants violent content removed. someone else thinks certain political, religious, or LGBTQ+ themes shouldn't be depicted. once the standard becomes "this makes me uncomfortable, therefore it shouldn't exist," the line tends to keep moving.

personally, I'd much rather have clear warnings, tagging systems, filters, and the ability to curate my own online experience than have a small group of people decide what everyone else is allowed to create or consume.

you can still criticize fiction or discuss its impact. those conversations are important. I just don't think criticism and censorship are the same thing. as for the Itch.io situation, that's a good example of why these discussions can get complicated very quickly :/
