A Demon’s Promise

Ichigo’s sisters are sick with the same illness that took their mother from them.

While he works part-time in a bar, he continues to study medicine and tries to help his father researching the sickness. However, he still feels helpless and stressed, so his mind wanders to darker places.

He turns to an unorthodox method and summons a demon to help them. The price he has to pay is high, yet it seems he is gaining much more than he bargained for.

Grimmjow doesn't think it's nothing. But he also doesn't know if something will remain in Karakura, or move on. It's a small town, one that reeks of the supernatural. Not just Grimmjow, not just Kurosaki and whatever makes his blood a lure, not just the occasional visit from the Hunters, but Witches too, all stinging and holy in their silver-smoke smell, and there's magic in the blood of the people here, watered down, but still a feast for those who thrive on it.

Grimmjow knows what he would do in its position. What he’s already chosen to do, false Hunters pinning him down and punching him in the face aside. Kurosaki is endlessly fascinating, but his presence here isn’t a draw for others. No, it’s the rich feeding grounds that Karakura offers. That’s what draws here those bold enough to try. ​
