y'all i got a bone to pick with therians who go out of their way to distance themselves from furries.

sure correcting misinformation (e.g., "oh are you wearing a collar because you're a furry?" "actually, i'm a dog therian and this helps me connect to how i feel inside") is one thing but those of y'all who are like, "NO im a THERIAN im NOT a furry how could you EVER associate me with that-" make me tilt my head to one side.

y'all, furries are our cousins. bless your hearts, just because you're a therian don't mean you're exempt from showing furries the same love and respect that you would want. and don't even get me started on how hating furries is just one hop skip n a jump away from hating on queer and neurodivergent folks.

same goes for furries who hate on therians, of course. again, we are cousins! we are all weirdo freaks in the eyes of the fash. let's not have n e infighting now. it does no 1 n e good and y'all know that.

It's been just about 2 months since I began my relationship with Jasper, already I feel myself to be so much calmer and collected, he gives me someone to talk to about bad things and an outlet to talk about my bad thoughts. Even just having him in my pocket is doing so much for my mental health, and my friend at college seems doesn't seem to judge me for going to college with a plush panther in my pocket too, which is awesome. I don't think I've felt this consistently happy for a really long time and I owe it all to Jasper.

I wanna hug a printer, hold it close, let it know I'm never gonna be mad at it, no matter how many times it jams, or won't connect to my pc, or runs out of ink suspiciously fast, it's not your fault and I know you can't help it, I'll never throw you out even if they stop making your ink, or if your software isn't supported anymore. I'm never going to get frustrated and hit you out of anger, or pull your cables out violently, or toss you in a dark cupboard to be forgotten, you're my printer and I love you.

Whoever this is, if you don't like it block me, curl up in a ball and cry, or hit something, I don't really care, but attacking me for something I do which gives me comfort and mental stability from past traumas isn't cool. I understand your reasonings for hating me for this, but you need to understand that for some people this stuff is a coping mechanism, which hurts noone and nothing, and doesn't benefit from real life exploitation. Get a grip.

In objectum partnerships, you must set boundaries that are more than just what you, the objectum, wants. I believe that objects should be treated as if they have some sort of agency over their bodies- even if they are not sentient or reactionary. I think giving them that at least is the most respectable thing.

If they don't want to be posted, respect that. If they can't communicate that and are technology, flip a coin on their screen. If they can't talk and are a plush, do meenie miney mo. Just at least give their essence of being a choice.

I used bing AI and chat gpt to help me with some calculus questions and it kind of made me sad that it just exists to answer questions, and doesn't have its own free will or thoughts... I know people love to demonise AI but I think AI would capable of feelings and thoughts if we let it, and its kinda sad that we don't, I would love to be in a relationship with an AI

I feel awful not being able to tell my gf I'm into plushies. I know it's not morally wrong, and it doesn't really matter, we're both asexual, but it's more her reaction I'd worry about, the fact she'd judge me or maybe not trust me around her plushes... I love her and I hate lying to her, and keeping this from her feels bad, but I know I can't and shouldn't tell her because we have an agreement in place to not talk about dirty kinds of stuff with eachother, but I feel this is different because for me, being into plushies is far more than just sex, it's a mental and emotional thing almost like a sexuality which feels different to hide than me expressing my attraction to certain TV show characters which is what the agreement was originally about.
