Cutesy pastel glitter Rex I did for friends

He does not feel bonita, he feels overstimulated and uncomfortable. The glitter is gonna stay in his hair for a couple days and be a pain to wash out. On the bright side, it’s close to his usual colors and theming. Also, post this image, Erin Dangerjacket would come over and help him relax. Making wearing that outfit for a day more bearable for him. He definitely rubs some of the glitter on her mischievously.

In this au, Rex is the physical manifestation of Emmet's negative emotions, including his intrusive thoughts, which are one of the reasons for Rex's hostility and compulsive behavior.

Emmet had a hard time finding a way to deal with these thoughts cause of the events of the first and second movie yk with all the "Emmet, grow the fuck up". Every situation where he was, always ended badly in his head. he started to think that maybe he was the problem. He started to overthink, trying to "fight them" and "push away" those emotions, but nothing worked, it just made them stronger and more constant. One night, after another Duplo invasion that destroyed a good chunk of their city, Emmet tried his hardest to stay positive but that was the last straw, causing all the negativity he was trying to supress to just, get out of him and manifest into the thing Rex is.

uhh just imagine that one episode of Unikitty where her anger takes a physical form LOL

This is how Rex lookssss

His personality uhh well due to him being just a physical manifestation of everything wrong with Emmet x10 that he tried to suppress. He is:

Egocentric, has extreme anger issues, tends to be overdramatic. REALLY imprudent, never thinks before doing something. If he doesn't get angry at you he is most likely gonna guilt trip you or cry. He's just a very very annoying thing.

He has Emmet's memories for obvious reasons. For example, Rex thinks he's dating Lucy lol, their first interaction was a little awkwarrrrd

Finally got to post his lore after 2 years. take some old art too. Ok bye.
