--;bloodstained stage Űľ
â Isnât it? You agree, donât you!? â An excited Lily would bound up closer towards the older, taller man, blue eyes widened with a childish glint, mouth opened in a big, wide smile as giggles escaped here and there in between her words. Bandersnatch stayed by her side, ready to take the manâs life in less than even a mere second if his master so much as spoke an order. â But you know, theyâre boring, too! Theyâre slow, and all they say when we speak to each other is âplease spare me!â or âstop!â, itâs so boring, so lame.. yâknow? â
In response, the youngest Baskerville stuck out her hand, face brightening considerably that they seemed so.. âfriendlyâ. â Iâm Lily! And this is Bandersnatch! â
â And who are you, miste-r?! â
With no regard for personal space whatsoever, the child pressed both her hands on the manâs knees â he had leaned after all, so she could at least reach that much. Pushing herself up to meet him eye level, if her face wasnât covered in her victimâs blood and all, it would be hard to think of her as anything more than a child. A child who loved to make friends, in fact.
Though normally, Lily wouldnât do this to her.. âfriendsâ. Though she wasnât aware of what she was doing, of course. Normally, Lily treasured her friends above all else. She wouldnât ever hurt them (or at least, until she got bored, or if they angered her). Toys were fated to be broken someday, right? Though she tended to take care of them for as long as she could, right now, all she wanted to do was play rough with them, throwing them away once they were broken and no longer able to function.
"They sure do get boring, pretty quickly, too. It's so much nicer when you find someone that tries to play. Ever met someone real interesting like that?" What a creepy little kid. It seemed he'd have to be careful, of her and the dog, if the carnage around him was anything to go by. She reminded him of himself, in that way - smiling, even laughing, despite the fact that she'd just killed people.
Should he tell her his name? There wasn't any harm in it, right - he was a master, and it wasn't as if he was good at blending in. "I'm Gin, or at least, that's what everyone done call me. 'Cause of my hair - it means Silver, in Japanese. Nice to meet'cha, Lily and Bandersnatch." Was he being sincere? It was impossible to tell; yes, it was nice to meet people who seemed like him, but also rather inconvenient. His whole life relied on deception, and if this girl was more observant than she seemed, she could be a threat.
Not to worry, though. The simple fact that she was so close, that she seemed to be unaffected by, or simply ignoring, the snake-like feel of his Reiatsu, meant she probably wasn't aware of how he was. She was getting blood all over his nice, white clothing, wasn't she? Ah well, it'd clean off easy enough.
He should kill her now, shouldn't he? With her head so close to his, simply commanding Shinso to shoot her would likely remove it, unless she was far faster than she appeared. But Gin wasn't intending to, not yet. Lily seemed so very interesting, and wasn't afraid of him, something of a rarity. It got lonely, being a snake, everyone keeping away from him; if he'd found someone who would actually talk to him, even if that person was a kid, that was a good thing. Yeah, even though he was supposed to kill anyone who might be a threat, in this war, it'd be simply too bad. Better to have fun, to keep quiet, until he had to act.
"How'd you end up here, Lily? You don't speak like the people running, fer sure, so where're ya from?"
