"Do not forget it," he said as he heard the knock from the door. "Would you like to let our brothers in or shall I?"
Going for Dinner/ Cas, Dean, Sam, Astriel
"Do you have a specific ‘thing’ in mind, or am I picking?" Dean said wrapping an arm around Cas’ waist and pulling him against the hunter.
"Everything’s fine" Sam assured him, "But we are gonna catch hell if we don’t speed up" he said, motioning with his hand to walk a bit faster.
Astriel rolled his eyes and walked faster as Sam insisted. After a few moments they got to Castiel and Dean’s apartment building and he pulled the door open for Sam.
Cas thought about it for a minute. "You may pick, since you seem to have a lot of ideas, and I chose last time," he said, nodding as he leaned against Dean slightly.
Going for Dinner/ Cas, Dean, Sam, Astriel
Sam followed Astriel out of the building, “I’m fine” he replied, giving a small but hopefully reassuring smile.
Astriel’s lips thinned into a set line. “Are you sure? Nothing’s up at all?”
"Perhaps right before our brother's arrive is not the best time to think about that," Cas replied, trying to stop his mind from following the path that Dean was insinuating. "However, once they leave, and I have cleaned up, I am sure we can discuss it to our heart's content, and perhaps try at least one thing." Cas smirked, moving into the doorway of the kitchen.
Going for Dinner/ Cas, Dean, Sam, Astriel
Sam shrugged, when the elevator doors open he began walking towards the exit of the building. Quickly reaching the front doors he held one open for Astriel
Astriel rose an eyebrow at Sam as he walked passed him to outside the building. “You okay?” He asked as his features turned morphed into concern.
"I merely suggest it because it has been a stressful day," he shot a dark look towards the table and chairs Dean had built, "and we have been preparing for Sam and Astriel to arrive. Now that everything is ready, and we are merely waiting, it could be useful to rest until they arrive," Cas explained. "I have had yet to sit on the couch since it arrived as well."

Dean nodded at Cas as he grabbed the bowl of salad and took it out to the table. “They should be here any second now.” He said looking to Cas in the kitchen.
Sam rolled his eyes, but otherwise ignored the comment. “Are we walking or driving?” he asked, pressing the elevator button
"Walking. It’s only a block away." Astriel said as he stepped onto the elevator. "And I saw that eye roll." He smirked.
"So we could relax a little until they arrive?" Cas asked, putting the pasta sauce on a low heat to simmer until their guests came.

Dean pulled his wrist up to see his watch. “Um, around 5:30 or 6.” He said with a nod.
Sam did as he was instructed and grabbed the whiskey from the kitchen counter, “Ready?” he asked, heading for the door
Astriel nodded to Sam with a large smile as he exited the apartment. “Hopefully no one will be threatened this time.” He said with a teasing smirk.
"So they will be arriving momentarily?" Cas asked Dean again, looking at the food that was almost finished. "That would probably be good so we do not have to worry about keeping the food fresh and hot."
Going for Dinner/ Cas, Dean, Sam, Astriel
"Ready?" Sam called, Astriel was in the bathroom, still getting changed Sam assumed. "You where the one who was concerned with being late" he added, leaning against the kitchen counter
Astriel heard Sam yell to him as he was perfecting his hair. He rolled his eyes and stepped back to make sure everything was in place before he walked out to Sam. “Grab the whiskey please.” He chose to ignore Sam’s comment about his lateness.
Cas turned to Dean as he was finishing the pasta sauce. "At what time did you tell Sam and Astriel to arrive?"
"No, how we did last time was fine." Dean said with a nod as he grabbed a spoon to stir the pasta.
Cas grabbed the tomatoes, onions, peppers, and carrots and began to chop them thinly, before washing the lettuce as best he could...
"A balanced diet includes carbohydrates, greens, meat, and complex sugars," Cas answered. "This meal takes care of almost all of those."
"No, how we did last time was fine." Dean said with a nod as he grabbed a spoon to stir the pasta.
Cas grabbed the tomatoes, onions, peppers, and carrots and began to chop them thinly, before washing the lettuce as best he could and attempting to collect it into a bowl, although he was unable to find one big enough.
Dean smiled to himself when he remembered the last time Cas cut some veggies. “I suppose you won’t be needed my help this time.”
"Unless you need them cut differently, I should be able to handle it on my own this time," Cas said, raising an eyebrow to Dean in question.
"Besides look pretty?" Dean joked with a smile. "You can make the salad."
Cas blushed slightly at the pretty comment, but nodded, finding a couple knives to cut the vegetables.
"Thanks, Cas." Dean said with a small smile as he poured the pasta out into the pot.
"Is there something you would like me to do to help?" Cas asked, moving beside Dean, feeling unhelpful.
Dean was quick to shake his head no. “Of course not, Cas.” Once he saw that the water was boiling he took the chance to change the topic. “Where is the pasta?”
Cas frowned again as Dean reacted quickly, but answered Dean's question by taking the large bag of pasta out of one of the shopping bags and bringing it to Dean.
Dean swallowed thickly at that. Cas had to trust him to ask for the right things, and that made him slightly uneasy. He nodded and pulled away to check and see if the water was boiling.
Cas frowned as Dean pulled away. "Did I say something wrong?" Cas asked, worriedly.
Dean nodded with a smile. "I'd help you with anything." He said moving closer to Cas.
"And I you with anything you asked for," Cas responded, leaning against Dean happily.
Dean nodded as he started to pull out all the pans he needed and almost began to pull things out of their boxes and put them in cabinets and drawers.

Cas nodded, a little upset that he had been bested by some furniture. “Would you like me to begin chopping some vegetables?”
Dean reached out and grabbed Cas and pulled the angel against his chest. “Ikea furniture is a bitch.” He said smiling at Cas. “Most people can’t put it together. That’s why most people pay others to put it together. Luckily, you got me.”
"I am lucky I got you," Cas said, looking up at Dean. "It is still frustrating that I could not figure it out, however."
Dean laughed before leaning down to place a light kiss on Cas’ lips. “I don’t blame you.”
Cas smiled into the kiss, wrapping his arms around Dean's waist. "Thank you for putting the rest together," he said.
