the east palace was fun like i wanted to immediately watch the next episode.

jang young nam is a star and a scene stealer the best performance by far in the show

the plot was like ok and i got annoyed by the over explanations some time but that’s what you get for watching a netflix original

obviously i wish like they’d focused more on the romance like dying to save each other again and again and joohyuk is literally good at that and not so much at the other stuff but whatever ill take what i can get

some of the fight scenes choreography was really cheesy but some of the shots were really pretty too

i just wish they’d like explored the characters more. the standard we don’t get along banter to the ride or die thing like felt very ticking off a check list thing which is a shame cause they could have done more

like i wont think about this show next week at all but i had a good time and i never get to say that about netflix shows
