My personal AU for my self-insert indulgence and itās accompanied story with Hershy, Reece, and Aucori is called āTangible Parallaxā, all ācanonicalā content related to that little project be tagged with - in their story they very rarely interact with the characters in the original game but exist in the same universe, set sometime after they get to the surface! #TangibleParallax
Anything just using characters from that story or other silly unrelated shenanigans will be tagged with #IntangibleParallel

An idea for shenanigans that started out as me just wanting to make a comic and do some light hearted joking on Common Fanfic Tropes I see a lot of in the Reader Insert scene of things for Undertale and throwing my own AU into the fray for flavor as side characters to see what happens and give myself a familiar narrative to work off of because who doesnāt love a confused bystander?
It turned into a semi-fleshed out mini thing because I like world building and character development even if itās not serious, thereās not quite a story yet since itās just a collection of scenes, drabbles, and ideas on a timeline.
It also gives me an excuse to draw Aucori with the same expression as the dude from The Bee Movie
UHhhH Iād like to do it, itās definitely just a self indulgent project that I think would be funny and give me practice with writing and formatting comics
Character Rambles because I have too much stored in the brain and forget that some contexT may be needed if I want to actively use these characters, hereās some character descriptions for Hershy, Reece, and Aucori!
[š]Hershy - A genderless amphibious monster that resembles an axolotl! Their skin is a pale pink but they have purple splotches in various places on their body, as well as a gradient that effects their fin and gills. They also have a set of vomerine teeth on both the top and bottom of their mouth, the top set being visible due to their lack of ālipsā! Their also not very tall, only standing at around 4ā6.
Personality wise, Hershy is very confident and outgoing, a very friendly monster overall, but can also be stubborn and petty.
[š]Reece - Reece is Hershyās older sibling, they more resemble an Olm and stand at around 6ā due to their long body! Their also a pale pink color with a light blue gradient on their back that extends to their fins and gills. Reece also has 2 sets of vomerine teeth like their sibling!
Reece was born without eyes, they cannot see like we would and rely on aids to navigate their environment. They often use their cane or their own magic to āfeelā around them, usually only when their alone or around people they know as their magic can be felt by others and be mildly uncomfortable.
Reece is a gentle soul that shares the same optimism their sibling does, but is much more reserved. While their not big on conversation they still like to be included, preferring to listen in - however they are easily overwhelmed if put on the spot, stress makes it harder for them to get words out.
[ā]Aucori - Aucori is a very large monster, standing at almost 9 feet when she isnāt slouched over. She is mostly blue in color with dark grey scales, she has a light blue chewed pinstripe that extends down the length of her body - it also has flecks of yellow where it meets the dark blue outline. Her face resembles a Spinosauridās with more avian features, yellow brow feathers giving her that typical angry stare you see in birds of prey. She has two fleshy antennae-like structures above her ears that extend outwards behind her head that end with yellow feathery tips, the one on her right side missing about 3/4 of its original length. She has 4 boney fins that extend down her neck to her shoulders, and then from her hips to the end of her tail, these fins can flatten and flair out either by her own control or involuntarily depending on her mood.
She has seen a lot of conflict in her lifetime and bares many scars.
Aucori herself seems rather stoic or intimidating at first impressions, but sheās a big teddy bear! Reece and Hershy came into her care while they were still in the Underground - she swore to raise them and protect them with her life. When she got settled on the surface, she (unbeknownst to them) adopted the friends they made and expanded her little family. She might struggle to understand all of the new things in the surface, mainly the new technology and whatever new series or video game her kids start gushing over - but she tried to learn. She does her best to research things in order to bond with them!
Emphasizing the bear part, she is quite protective over those she cares about.
Since I got all of the main characters in my little AU project designed, I want to use them for something silly and get some drawing practice in for myself!
I was thinking about doing some memes of the amphibian fam interacting with each other or drawing some crossover things with the TP crew reacting to other existing AUās and just drawing characters from those AUās.
Also I found a cool salamander while visiting family and a 3rd amphibian character was made, someone stop mE - it was so short and chubby I couldnāt get it out of my head so we have 3 salamanders now.
But I mean hey Aucoriās background is a lot more developed, Iāve started working on her late wife Fael, as well as thinking up their armor designs from their gaurdsman days. Iāll probably do some shenanigans with what Iām calling āIntangible Parallelā, a fancy tag to organize stuff that uses the characters from Tangible Parallax but isnāt actually my ācanonā version of my little AU project.
Another addition is a dude named tom, lowercase intended, heās a spindly bird dude with teeth for a head. Heās funky!
