When I was saying I want to be No. 1 of the world, and I was seven or eight years old, most of the people were laughing at me because it seems like I have one percent of chances to do that, and I've done it.

I think everyone is a rival, especially against me. They come out with a game I have never seen before. But it's made me better. (x)

It's an amazing end to the week. It was tough beginning, but I was always trying to fight, always trying to improve day by day even if I wasn't playing great at the beginning. I'm really happy to have another trophy. It's amazing feeling, especially today when I was playing some really good tennis. (x)

I started a little bit nervous and she started really good. It's not easy to play like this, and I lost the first set but I believed, I fought, I run, and finally I won. (x)

It was how a final should be, between two young and up-and-coming players. I hope we're going to play many more finals together. Both of us wanted to win so badly and I'm happy I was the one today. (x)

It was unbelievable. These three weeks have been amazing. Winning my first 500 title and first hard-court title, it was just perfect. (x)

I don't think I've ever played in front of a crowd quite like this. Thank you for letting me experience this in Acapulco because it's something I'll remember forever. (x)

It's the best feeling in the world, to be here and think that it's the final is crazy. I'm really excited that I got to this level and I've proven myself that I belong here. (x)

I really had to give it all I’ve got. When I was cramping, my box was worried, but I fought hard and stayed in there. (x)

I definitely don’t want to get a cow. I can’t put it in my room. But I heard if I win this tournament I’ll get some diamonds from one of the sponsors. I am okay with diamonds. (x)

To be honest, I’m satisfied with everything, it was a very nice tournament. I was improving my game from match to match, I became more confident and got some ranking points. Now I’ll reach top 50, and my coach and my team are happy. I’d like to thank them all.  (x)

The main thing is that my opponents; attitude towards me changed a lot, now they beware. (x)

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. People are really passionate about sports and tennis here – despite the fact the tournament is held here for the first time. The crowd was fair. (x)

Definitely I wanted to go farther. I’m a little bit disappointed, but I played some good tennis over all. There is something to improve. (x)

It’s a very big day for me. Since I was a small kid I was dreaming of becoming a Top 10 player. And now this dream came true, the hard work paid-off. It’s an amazing moment for me. My next goal is just to keep going and winning matches and still to enjoy myself. (x)

I don't really have an idol on the Tour. Even when I was young I tried to watch all of them and watch a little bit of everybody. (x)
