As with any business venture, networking is key. GrowFast takes every opportunity to grow our network in the medical marijuana industry. Bringing people together for the greater good of our industry benefits us all, and no one does that better than Women Who Grow. As one of the largest national network of cannabis professionals Women Who Grow has chapters nationwide and pledges to start 1,000 medical marijuana businesses this year.

This past Spring GrowFast attend a Womine Who Grow event featuring guest speaker Blue Quisquis from Emerald Enterprise, INC. Blue, a member of the San Pasqual Band of Kumeyaay shared his knowledge of Native American Cannabis Regulations as well as implementation and operation of medical marijuana operations.

In a new industry such as ours innovation is the key to success. Growfast was proud to attend the Seed Series on October 23rd, 2015. This monthly networking event is hosted by Direct Cannabis Network and brings together startups, professionals and investors in the medical marijuana industry.

At GrowFast we make it a priority to attend Marijuana Industry events, not only to grow our network but also to learn as much as we can about our industry. With legal marijuana consumption becoming closer to reality we feel it is imperative to be experts in not only our field, growth, but in the legal sphere as well.

Last fall we we’re invited to attend an event put on by The Center for Intellectual Property and The intellectual Property Law Association called Growing Like a Weed: A Primer on Intellectual Property Law, Taxes and the Legitimate Marijuana Industry. The event was hosted by The Thomas Jefferson School of Law and sponsored by Culture Magazine, Seedless, WedWest Distribution and the Branfman Law Group P.C..

The program will explored the intersection between the growing medical marijuana industries and intellectual property law and tax law.
