True Size Potty

Summer Infant My Size Potty looks like an adult toilet! It means that kids, who tend to imitate their parents will eagerly start their potty training!

Unlike with a character potty, the realistic look helps kids to understand it's purpose immediately. 

Built-in wipe compartment promotes healthy habits and space for books storage. There are TWO storage areas on this potty!!!!!  There is a small area that flips open that IS too small for wipes, but it's perfect for a couple pairs of clean undies. In addition, the entire lid comes off so you can use the "water tank" area as storage too and it's perfect for full size wipes (see pics). The clip-on splash guard is helpful when training boys and the potty cup sits securely under the lid.

Amber Teething Necklaces For Babies

I have seen a lot of moms using the Baltic Amber Teething Necklace and have been curious if they work. Some people swear by them while others say they really don't know but it seems to help their children.

I am quite impressed with lovely amber beads. The necklace is made with quality. There is a knot between each bead so if a kid tears the necklace, he will not have a lot of little beads to choke on. The necklace is very easy to put on and take off - just two beads that screw together.

The baby acts like it isn't even there. The instructions state to remove the necklace before putting the child to bed. I know a lot of moms who leave their child's beads on 24/7. I remove the necklace at night but leave them on during his naps. The baby does not cry and fuss when he is teething but he drools something terrible when he sleeps. So far, his sheets are dry every time I get him up from his nap. This means they are working for him! He only drools at night but I am afraid to leave them on him then.

Baby soothers are best parents’ allies at night and cute baby toys in the daylight. Let’s see the best among them:

Baby Einstein put some kind of magic in this item! Parents purchase the soother because of kids not sleeping through the night. This soother can be placed into the crib or attached to the back of a front seat of a car - kids will not only stay quiet all night, but when waking up, instead of crying, they will turn on the soother. Thanks Little Einstein for not only making kids genius who sleep through the night, but giving these tired mom's a full night sleep.

Owl Moonlight and Melodies Nightlight Soother

This nightlight is a lifesaver for parents whose kids are refusing to sleep without their lights on (which, of course, means that they stay up late and are crazy, etc., etc.). Just put this owl in your kid’s room, and he’d calm down immediately. Besides the fact that this nightlight looks cool and modern even in the daytime, it also functions wonderfully. The belly of the owl is the part that gives off light (and good call, Skip Hop, for not making the eyes glow...). There is also an option to project a small circular star scene up to the ceiling (you can adjust the angle). There are also loads of other options on this thing. Room Night Light Rainbow for Nursery

Kids love rainbow. It is bright, multicolor and magic! You can make them happy by presenting them a rainbow of their own!

When seeing it kids are sure to be enchanted. This product is magic.  You press a button and you can project a rainbow on any wall or ceiling–or some little tummy.  It takes four AAA batteries.  The projector will make a rainbow and it turns itself off after 10 minutes, so if you leave it on at night, it won’t stay on the whole times.  

There is an adapter jack and you can use an AC adapter with it.  You have to buy one separately.  If you use the adapter, the rainbow will stay on until you turn it off.

I heartedly recommend this product.  Where else can you touch a rainbow.

Easy, healthy and working method to sooth a teething baby. Take one avocado and one pear - grind them up and pour into popsicle forms, then freeze. The baby is sure to love the taste and will sooth for some time.

Bedtime Story Idea For Parents

Kids love fairy tales. Each time there should be a new one. What if to add some creativity - not only a new story, but also a new character who is telling it?

There are lots of Animal Masks for Party on sale. Why not to put on a new mask each night and tell a story as if you were a lion, or a pig, or a goat….It will add some novelty, humor and true affection to your relations with your child.

Kids Books For Potty Training

I tell you my experience. My daughter disliked potty, she wouldn’t seat on it at all. Once I bought a book with rhymes about little bear who found a potty in the forest and didn’t know what to do with it - so his friends told him it was a toilet. The book is very bright and and rhymes are short and easy. My little one liked it at first sight and I gave it to her on one condition - that she would  read it only when sitting on the potty. So it worked! After this she stopped skipping the potty and started doing her things sitting on it. Here is a little list of books of the kind:

Daniel Goes to the Potty

It is a board book with a button that you can push on each page to make a flushing noise. It addresses the issue of using the restroom in public places so toddlers know that there are toilets everywhere they might go. Nice acquisition!

P is for Potty!

This book explains girls and boys of 1 to 3 years old all about how to use the potty in this sturdy lift-the-flap board book which contains more than 30 flaps to find and open.

The Potty Book: For Boys

This book is fine and it appeals to many families.

Princess Potty

There are so many amazing things to say about this adorable book! It is princess-themed, toilet-training 8x8 book for your precious daughters, who will read it on their thrones! With a distinct step-by-step story that introduces girls to the concept of toilet training, Princess Potty is an amazing lesson to learn.
