Jolie Ruin is an feminist collage artist and zinester. Her collages reflect her feminist views, often mixing medias. Jolie has a blog here on tumblr where she posts said collages. She started creating collages in 2010. So it’s told she has been doing zines for over thirty years! She is a big inspiration for me!

Hello! First I would like to say happy pride month! I am quite late and I apologize. Women can get overshadowed by men in queer spaces as well. MLM media gains way more attention than WLW media. An example of this is when Canadian actor Sophie Nélisse got an award for Heated Rivalry, but not for Yellowjackets where she literally plays the main character. Since it is pride month I will be focusing many of my posts on how women are treated in queer spaces.

Society's standards for women's bodies have really affected how young girls see themselves. It has made them believe that their bodies are unhealthy for simply having organs. These toxic expectations have caused these girls to have eating disorders and take certain pills to slim out their bodies. This impacts how they grow physically and mentally. They could be perfectly healthy and still be told that they are too fat. its seriously unfair and has to stop for the protection of young girls.
