I do think that "imagine your f/o selfshipping with you" thing changed my brain chemistry a bit. Imagine your f/o making physical representations of you to carry around and keep on their person. Imperfect but made from love-- a small plush the size of their hand, a sticker they put on their laptop, making a charm to put on their keyring...
