It’s not midnight but I just saw this so I wanted to throw in my two cents because im actually beyond pressed.

this does mention mental health and situations that could be triggering❗️

The internet is becoming so toxic and hateful, it’s affecting the mental health of so many people. Recently, a youtuber called one of her fans annoying and said fan tried to commit suicide; she is now considered brain dead. In no way, shape, or form am I saying that this youtuber should be blamed for it entirely, but she does have a platform and she should know how to use it correctly.

That girl could’ve been going through some things in her own life and maybe youtube was kind of her distraction or escape of some sort. To hear one of your idols calls you annoying will no doubt mess with your head and that youtuber shouldn’t have said that, regardless of who she said it to. She tweeted out her apology which seemed so insincere and it was worded in a way where she was playing victim.

This is getting so annoying and old. You don’t know what’s going on in someone’s personal life. You don’t know what they’re like or what triggers them. IF YOU DONT HAVE SOMETHING NICE TO SAY, DONT SAY IT. I don’t care who you are or how you grew up. You have absolutely no right or excuse to deliberately be hateful/rude towards someone.

Even on here some people get so bold hiding behind their screens and the anonymous feature, you should be ashamed of yourself. It’s driven people into such a bad mental state and it’s caused many to deactivate their accounts. I’m sure if it were the other way around, you wouldn’t be able to handle it either. I don’t care what you say, I don’t care if you think the toughest person out there. If you have not been in their position, you cannot leave your opinion or input because you don’t know what it’s like.

Also cancel culture? Pathetic. I get that people make mistakes and those mistakes are mind blowing sometimes, but having a multitude of people throw hate towards you is too much for anybody to handle. They should have room and time to learn from their mistakes and if they don’t change, leave it alone. Ignore the person. Don’t send excess hate and be a part of the problem.

It’s so horrible that this is even an issue. Always be kind. Please respect that you have no clue what someone can be going through.
