The girl couldn’t help but laugh a little. She knew that he could be insanely charming but right now he was being even more charming than usual. She had missed him and maybe that was doing the trick as well. “You are a charmer. But I enjoy it, so don’t you dare to ever stop being so charming.” The girl grinned and made a step forward towards him. “Would you mind…?” She asked and placed the bracelet in his hand and held her wrist up so he could close the bracelet around it. “You are treating me even better than a queen. And I enjoy that, but you really don’t have to.”

“If you want charm, my love, I will continue to give you charm. Anything for you.” He was just naturally charming when it came to his girlfriend simply because he wanted her to feel how important she was to him. He nodded and clasped the bracelet around her wrist, it looked good on her. “I know I don’t have to. The thing is, I wanted to and will always want to. I love you, everything I do for you is because I want to, not because I feel obligated or anything like that.”

The brunette raised her eyebrow as she heard his comment on her room. She turned around to look at him and shook her head lightly, showing how amused she was by his teasing. “You should know that I prefer gold so much more, even though it wasn’t a Slytherin Color.” The girl grinned then and moved a step towards him, wanting to hug him again, as he pulled something out of his bag and for a second Rachel gasped. She didn’t expect him in the first place and now he even got her something. She looked up to him and for a second she couldn’t even speak, before she took the parcel from him and opened it. “This is beautiful. But you really didn’t have to…” She said, her voice quivering a bit as she looked back up. “I feel so bad, I have nothing for you…I didn’t even expect you to come here…”

He laughed and shook his head at her comment. “You know, that doesn’t surprise me. You know for me I prefer the color brown, the captivating eyes of my extremely talented and drop dead gorgeous girlfriend,” he spoke nonchalantly. There weren't many times Rachel could be rendered speechless, and he never thought he’d ever see it, until in that moment. “Well the main purpose of a surprise is to you know, do something unexpected. I know I didn’t have to but I wanted to. Don’t feel bad, I’m just treating you like the queen you are.”

The girl knew that their relationship is nothing like the ones Lee had been in before. She knew it because first of all he had told her that himself and then the twins and also Angelina have confirmed it to her at various occasions. The girl liked to think she was special to him. Someone who brought out a side he never even knew existed inside him. “Oh excuse me. I am rude for … you know keeping you here in the entrance.” She said then and shook her head a bit at herself. “Come on upstairs. You can leave your bag in my room.” The brunette intertwined their fingers and then pulled him upstairs. She didn’t care what her fathers would say, if he was about to stay here, he would stay with her.

He looked around the home as they made their way to her room. It wasn’t quite what he expected but he loved the home, it was quaint. He wasn’t sure if her room was going to be where he would be staying, he imagined he wouldn’t be. Rache; was her fathers’ little girl, he would understand if he was sleeping in another room once they returned. Looking at the room, again not what she was expecting. “I must say, I expected more pink,” he teased as he set his bag down and got out a small parcel for her. “Here I got you something, it’s not much but I hope you like it.” Lee saw this gold bracelet with a variety of music charms and bought it, thinking of his girlfriend.

The kiss was making her feel alive again. She sure had been somehow adjusting back home. She had somehow gotten up for class every morning and just do what people expected her to but something had been missing ever since she came back. The brunette never mentioned it, she knew people would think she was being dramatic. And maybe she was. But she really loved Lee and being without him has been the most difficult thing for her. The brunette pulled away softly, still leaning against him as her lips curled up into a happy smile. “I missed you too. More than you can imagine.”

He never thought he would be in a relationship like the ones he used to make fun of. The overly dramatic and super sappy couples that hated to be apart from one another but here they were. If he was being honest, he loved their dynamic and wouldn’t change it for the world. He begrudgingly pulled away from her completely and looked around. It wasn’t exactly what he expected but it was still nice. “So this is your home, I like it. Um, is there anywhere I can drop my bad off? It’s kind of heavy.”

She was still stunned by his sudden appearance. She had no idea he would show up on her doorstep. It was the biggest and also best surprise in quite a while for sure. The brunette could feel how he wrapped his arms around her and she leaned automatically into him, pulling him inside. It was just rude letting him stand in the door frame after all. She just listened, unable to even say a word, she usually never stopped talking - she was a person who would never shut up and yet she was shutting up now. She just couldn’t help but feel overwhelmed. “Shhh…” The girl simply shushed her boyfriend after his small ramble, pressing her lips onto his for a long and much needed moment. She knew they would talk for hours anyway, but right now she just wanted his arms around her and just feel him. Feel his presence.

It was humorous that there had been a bit of a role reversal. Rachel was always more of the talkative one out of the two. She had been known to talk nonstop with him listening to her without saying a word. Having her in his arms again felt like everything was okay. He had been in a funk since they parted but now his world lit up again. He relished in the kiss they shared, holding her tight, so tight not even the thinnest piece of paper could get between them. After a few moments, he pulled apart but never let go of her and smiled. “I missed you so much.”

Life was more complicated than ever. The months had gone by and leaving Britain for good had been harder than expected. She had been afraid of going there for while, even disliked the idea of attending Hogwarts for a short amount of time but then…she had almost cried when she had to leave again. She went back to her old school, and somehow she adjusted right back into McKinley, but it was different. She felt different.

She was still in school, she was still going through her last year but right in that moment she was home. They had a break for a week and she had decided to go home and see her fathers. She haven’t had that much of a chance to spend time with them since she was back in America. When she had come back they had been gone for some business things and then she had been gone for classes. And now she was finally able to spend some time with them, although she was quite sure they were behaving somewhat strange. She had no idea what the deal was, but they seemed secretive to her. Rachel didn’t mind it though, she just shrugged it off. She was actually just on her way downstairs in her working out clothes, she wanted to go out for a run as she heard the knock on the door. She wasn’t expecting anyone and her fathers haven’t said a word about someone coming over. “I’m going.” She just called out to her fathers, before moving towards the front door and opening it. She froze right that second. She haven’t seen Lee in too long and as she saw him standing there…she almost cried. “You…are here…?” The girl just stuttered, unable to realize it.

Lee took in the sight in front of him. He always thought she was beautiful but right now he was stunned by her beauty, though it had only been a few months. The way she froze at the sight of him, he almost thought she hadn’t recognized him now that he had changed his hairstyle a bit and grown out his beard. Adjusting the bag of clothes on his back, he nodded and smiled. “I told you I’d be back for you,” he told her before wrapping his arms around her in a much-needed embrace. “I’m here for a month or so looking for work and I missed you. So I figured I’d kill two birds with one stone. I messaged your fathers and they helped me set this up, I hope you don’t mind.” Lee didn’t know if she had plans and meant to ask her fathers but it slipped his mind. “I’ll be going back and forth to New York and if something works out I’ll probably find a nice place there.” He knew he was rambling but he couldn’t help it, he was still a bit nervous.

It had been a few months since he had seen his girlfriend. Lee felt a desperate need to see her. Yes, they would still talk to each other, he even became more familiar with muggle technology and forms of communication in order to talk to her. He still hadn’t found a job and didn’t want her mother to be the reason he had a job. He wanted to do it himself, his stubbornness was always one of his most apparent traits. After much pleading on his part to his parents, he left London to go to America. He decided to surprise his girlfriend as well as look for a career there, but the later was more of an afterthought. He owled his girlfriend’s fathers a week prior to his trip in order to go to the right place once he got there. But here he was, in front of the house his girlfriend was said to reside. He was both anxious and nervous to say the least, he had only met her fathers once and didn’t want to mess anything up ut also he couldn’t wait to see Rachel again. Taking a deep breath, he knocked on the door, waiting for someone to answer it.
