“ Ah yes, being sent Shacklebolt in my fireplace while I get my first moment of quiet in the day, every woman’s dream, ” She rolled her eyes and mixed the small potion in front of James. Andromeda put it down to inspect his ankle again. It was completely bloodied and she could feel a bone stick out, he was truly playing the pain down. “ You realize if you were a muggle, you wouldn’t be able to walk for months. But you are right, better treating you than Alastor. He’s never any fun. How have you been, other than in trouble? You and that cousin of mine haven’t visited for dinner in a while. ” The aroma of tea meant the potion was ready, it was a quick and easy one that turned muddy but burned quite a bit once applied. “ Do you need something for the pain before I apply the potion on your foot? ”

James grimaced as she felt around his ankle, though he did his damnedest to hide it. “But I’m not -- and when we have such a fantastic healer helping us out, who can blame us for forgetting there’s usually consequences?” He said, trying to butter her up a little. He knew it must have been a nightmare having to treat person after person during times such as these. “Ah, so you agree I’m fun?” His tone was playful -- teasing -- as he asked the question. “Oh you know me and Sirius, busy busy busy. But if that’s another invitation, then I’ll make sure he has some spare time on his hands soon.” A good meal would certainly be appreciated -- his own cooking left something to be desired and until recently, that’s all they’d really had time for. “I can take it.”
