         Eyes widening in slight disbelief, Gisele shook her head, giggling, incredulous that the other hadn’t heard of Z before. “Oh, they’re my absolute bestest friend in the world! They’re totally in a band, too, and you should hear them play some time; I’ll invite you! They’re super rad.” as if thrown back into seeing them onstage, Gisele claps, absolutely elated; she was always so proud of Z, and so unafraid to voice it as well. Her nickname for Hojin left Melody’s lips and already she could feel herself turning a light shade of pink, her smile ever dreamy as she shook her head shortly. “Oh, no, he isn’t my boyfriend--” though dropping her voice soon after, Gisele added in hushed tones, “-- I wish, though! He’s the sweetest; and he holds my hand sometimes, too, and it feels super nice.” punctuating her sentence with a giggle, Gis smiled delightedly, welcoming any and all of Melody’s questions; it was nice getting to know new people, to make new friends! And Melody had been nothing short of a sweetheart the entire time. “I did like five a lot! But oooh, the new one; that pilot fellow looked really quite dashing, didn’t he?” her smile grew brighter, moonier even when the topic drifted to Disney princesses finding their prince. “Oh, I think you will, one day!” she nodded firmly, a quick wink leaving her features as she spun around the store once more. “Oh, I loved Cinderella; Her dress was to die for, honest! Hmmm, Disney, Disney, where could you be?”

she feels their fingers intertwine and it sends her heart in a flurry almost immediately; her gaze moved from their hands to his face, locking their eyes once more in a soft smile, but refraining from saying anything. giving his hand a quick squeeze, she turns to the sharks that swim in front of them, giggling with delight as she notes his expression as well. she’s absolutely enthralled by it all, honestly; the aquarium and him. at the mention of her name gis turns to him, breaking into a light laugh at his conceding. “i thought you might say that; but that doesn’t mean you’re plenty strong too, hojbae, don’t worry!” she beams at him, the sensation of her hand in his leaving butterflies piling up in her stomach. she attempts to shift her attention to the sharks once more, gazing at them in awe simply because wow, are they big. “they’re so cool.” she murmurs, her frame moving close to hojin’s by the second before she turns to him once more. “hey,” she manages to breathe out, smiling gently, “wanna see the vampires of the ocean now?”

           “Oh, that’s cool! Usually if I’m not doing anything I’m just at Z’s place -- now more than, like, before, really, but that’s probably because I live there now.” Gisele explained casually, her fingers skimming through Queen’s vinyls as she continued to hold conversation with the girl who kept her company. “If not with him, I’m with Hojbae! He’s always really highkey sweet, even if he doesn’t seem it; I love him a ton.” she giggled, smile moonier than usual at the mention of the other boy; shaking it off as pure fondness, her expression only brightened at the girl’s agreement, still listening intently to what Melody had to say. “Sci Fi? Like... Star Wars! My dad loves Star Wars a lot, I watched four-five-six when I was little; Han and Leia were just the cutest, weren’t they?” It was just like Gisele to focus on the romantic aspect of things, really -- which was why at the mention of Disney, her eyes were quick to widen, and she squealed in delight. “Oh, Disney! The princess always meets her prince and they live happily ever after, oh, it sounds like such a dream, right?” Gis gushed, doe-eyed at the thought of a Prince Charming. “I absolutely love, love, love Disney! And their songs are real cool tunage... I wonder if they have vinyls of the soundtracks available here!”

“aww, but i don’t like the idea of you fighting anyone -- even if it is a shark.” she pouts a little, although she’s gazing fondly at the boys animated movements. "oh, yes, i forget!” gis nods, the recollection of him mentioning it to her coming back to her memory now, “i’m sure you’re very good at it, too; i’ve been told i’m not good for much but i think tae kwon do would be useful enough to learn! -- maybe you could even teach me a little.” gisele giggles, her free hand coming up to her mouth to stifle the sound. she leads them towards another room, the arm that’s linked to his tentatively slipping down so their hands are brushing against each other, an uncharacteristic nervousness fluttering in gisele’s stomach as she turns to hoj and smiles gently. “i do like seahorses, you know; i’d say they’re my favorite! they all look so cute and fun, all majestic and everything -- oh, look, hoj!” she gestures forward, eyes widening in excitement as she squeals, “sharks!”

        “Okay, I will! Will you help me?” Unable to wait for an answer, the girl tugged onto Melody’s hand, dragging her back to the section where she’d found the first Queen record she was holding, curls bouncing along with her. “You know so much about stuff... people say I don’t know much about anything, but it’d be cool to know as much as you do about music and Queen and all these super cool things, you’re super cool!” Gis gushed on and on about the girl as her eyes fluttered back over the record collection once more. “Yeah, that’s the one! I thought it was uber cutie patoots, didn’t you?” she mused, a delighted grin lacing her features. “What about you, what movies do you like?”

Shiloh sat somewhere on campus with his legs crossed on top of each other and his hands rested palms-up on top of his knees like he was meditating. He breathed in for four counts, and then held his breath for another four before exhaling. He heard footsteps approaching, and without opening his eyes, he answered the sound. “Be still, grasshopper. The seeds of wisdom are hard at work.”

       She skipped her way to the boy lightly, giggles escaping her mouth as he responded to the sound of her feet brushing against the pavement. “Silly little lovebug.” she greeted him fondly, sitting beside him and resting her head on his shoulder ever comfortably. “Shh, tell me now --- what are the seeds of wisdom telling you, master? Pinky promise cross to die I’ll keep it a secret, just between you and me!”

♛: Sharing a dessert

       “see,” gis begins after swallowing a mouthful of strawberries and graham crust, “the thing about strawberry tart is– it’s so good? like. the crust is flaky, which reminds me of, like, ballet, for some reason, and strawberries remind me of sweet and happy spring days!” she pokes at the slice with her fork, looking up at the girl with her trademark lopsided smile. “oh; you’re not eating!” she notices, her eyes somewhat squinting, and she lifts the fork up to the other’s mouth with a soft hum and little giggle. “here comes the airplane, little one; open up, open up!”

         “Don’t you just love the word gnarly? Isn’t it just so-- gnarly?” with a little giggle, Gisele reached for the palms of Melody’s hands, squeezing them gently whilst doing a little dance in the process; it was safe to say that she was an easily excitable girl. “News of the World! That sounds cool; what did the world have to say?” she asked quizzically, tilting her head to the side with her eyebrows arched, but the dreamy smile still intact. “And, oh, oh, jazz is so cool.” she added, nodding empathetically. “I love the trumpets, and the-- other horn things, super cool, super rad. And-- oh, Somebody to Love! That’s by them, too, right?” Gis giggled once more, moving her hips to the rhythm she recalled in her head. “I saw that on Happy Feet! I loved Happy Feet.”

       “Ooooh,” was Gisele’s initial remark, staring up at her company with doe-eyed wonder. “You’re so smart, Essie, you know that? That’s so cool; like, even I didn’t know that! I’m going to tell people that all the time, just so I can sound as smart as you; people don’t think I’m smart, can you believe.” shaking their head as if in disappointment, Gisele was quick to snap back to her dreamlike exterior, smile as moony as ever. “I wonder-- do you think they have vinyls of ocean sounds?” Gis questioned, eyes widening with excitement. “Wouldn’t that be so wonderful? -- I could buy that for you, if you’d like!”

        hands come together, clapping ever enthusiastically as gis rests her head on the taller boy’s shoulder with a content sigh. “sharks are super rad; like, all vicious and everything. they’re super duper great -- just like you!” she giggles, resting up even closer to him. “well-- maybe not the vicious part; i don’t think you’d be able to even hurt a fly, if i’m being real, complete, 110% honest -- but that’s alright. i like you this way, hojbae.” she removes her head from his shoulder, nodding at him quickly before her eyebrows arch, peering down at her company as his eyes meet the ground for all but a brief moment. warmth stirs in her, realizing what it is he’s trying to conceal from her, but he can’t fool gisele; instead, she nods a bit more slowly this time, smile small -- almost bashful. “sharks, then vampires.” she echoes, spinning on her heel to redirect them towards the shark exhibit, both arms clinging to hoj’s as another dreamy smile forms on her lips.
