[clutches my pearls] Trans people in 1921?!??! But I thought trans people were trend of today’s youth!
“I find all people attractive – trans, women, men…”
The “queer-femme” links to Bustle’s “7 Reasons I Use Queer Instead of Lesbian” and, Article-Writer, you aren’t a lesbian sooo?
this is a trainwreck
This one is for those questioning their gender:
Don’t be afraid to claim the nonbinary label just because you might need to change that later on.
You are not “invading” anyone’s space. You won’t hurt nonbinary people by changing that label as you need.
I believe that this nonbinary community is welcoming and kind before all else, especially to people questioning.
We’ve all been (or currently are) where you are now. Do what you need to do.
We understand.
happy trans girls are cute day
(it’s every day)
trans and gay boys are allowed to be masculine without being “gross boys :/” and not fitting your “soft trans gay uwu” aesthetic
cis and straight boys are allowed to be feminine without SECRETLY being trans or gay
isn’t it funny how a cis girl can get dangerous breast implants and ppl are like “oh but it’s to help her self esteem and body image” but if a transguy/non binary person wants top surgery ppl are like “how can you be sure you won’t regret this” and they have to prove they have a “identity disorder” and nobody cares that while they struggle to get through a system designed to stop them every step of the way their self esteem and body image is negatively affected everytime they look in the mirror
this is one of the dumbest posts of ive seen. People who detransition end up hating their flat chest and they cant do much about that. Bigger boobs aint gonna give a cis girl dysphoria, a flat chest is gonna give someone who thinks theyre trans but actually has some other sef esteem/body image issue dysphoria.
top surgery isn’t a cosmetic procedure like a boob job. Its to help a mental issue (gender dysphoria). Letting anyone who wants ‘identifies’ as a transguy/non binary get top surgery is like giving anyone who self diagonoses have anti-depressants without them seeing a mental health professional.
This, plus a more apt comparison is *drumroll* a trans woman getting implants. But only because people will do mental gymnastics to justify why a cis woman getting implants is a sign of her bodily autonomy while a trans woman getting the same surgery is a mockery of nature/women.
^ True, but OTOH, remember the BS surrounding that one celeb (forgot her name…) who got a double mastectomy because she knew she was predisposed to breast cancer?
Just goes to show, it’s never really about the health of the individual…
any superhero that has to put their gender in their name is irrefutably trans.
superman? trans. she-hulk? trans. wonder woman? hella trans. batman? spiderman? supergirl? iron man? invisible woman? superboy?
completely, 100% trans
it’s the superhero equivalent of wearing a pronoun button
i see this and raise you: mothman
i, for one, welcome our trans cryptid overlords
If you don’t have me on Snapchat you’re missing out
nonbinary aesthetic
damn even Wonder Woman doesn’t have time for terf nonsense
Yo ok what if there was a Cinderella story where Cinderella is a trans woman and that’s really why her stepmom treats her like shit and won’t let her go to the ball and when the prince and his men come around looking to try the slipper on every woman in the land her stepmom tells the prince there aren’t any women left in the house because she insists that Cinderella is a man, but Cinderella comes out and the prince recognizes her and says something along the lines of “well I’d say that’s a woman if I ever saw one”
That would explain the shoe size not being common among women as well.
BRUH
If your a straight male but would date/get intimate with/marry a MTF person does that make you bi or gay?
Bi because you’re initially liking the female aspect of her but are still aroused by male genitalia. Unless you’re agreeing to be intimate just for the sake of the relationship but actually aren’t aroused by penis’, then you’d just be straight imo
ughhhhhhh
For all the wonderful non-binary trans folks<3
This is absolutely gorgeous art, and honestly, I also really needed this. :> Thank you.
You know what’s funny but also quite sad, is that real trans people with dysphoria are now being called “bigot!” simply for being trans.
If you’re trans with dysphoria like all trans people, you’re literally a “bigot”
yea okay…makes perfect sense
You are called bigots because you are transphobic towards other trans people like you and you exclude them Not because you’re dysphoric
We exclude them because they’re not trans. They don’t have dysphoria, which you need to be transgender. It’s your minds way of telling you that you are uncomfortable and do not feel like you should have these primary or secondary sex characteristics therefore people get surgery (TRANSition) to feel like the sex their brain thinks they should be.
If you’re a girl who just cuts her hair short and has no desire to transition and has no dysphoria, you’re not trans. If you’re a guy wears dresses and has no desire to transition and has no dysphoria, you’re not trans.
That’s exactly why you’re called bigots
What exactly is wrong with what I said?
The first three lines
The truth is wrong now?
It isn’t the truth
“”“"real”“” trans people with dysphoria are now being called “bigot” simply for being trans" lmao no, we call you bigots because you’re assholes -💐
Yes, “”“”“”“real”“”“”“” because people who do not have gender dysphoria are not trans, as that means their gender and sex match.
Gender Dysphoria: is a condition where a person experiences discomfort or distress because there’s a mismatch between their biological sex and gender identity.
You don’t know anything about me, so “asshole” is an overstatement, don’t you think? Simply knowing that dysphoria is needed to be trans isn’t being a bigot, transphobic or an asshole. Stop throwing around insults.
If you saw my other reblog, which antiterfspeon completely ignored probably because they had no answer, does that mean that gender specialists are bigotted, transphobic assholes since they require you to have gender dysphoria to medically transition and be classified as trans? No, it doesn’t because it’s a recognised medical condition.
Gender Dysphoria = Trans
There’s literally nothing transphobic or bigotted about that fact. If you think there is, that really shows how bigotted you are towards trans people.
not every trans person experiences dysphoria; that doesn’t make them any less trans ((or less ““real””))
just because one does not experience dysphoria does not necessarily mean that “their gender and sex match,” because dysphoria is not a requirement for someone to identify as a gender other than the one they were assigned, which is literally the only requirement to be trans. not cis ?? boom- you’re trans ((if you’re comfortable using the label))
also- excluding trans people and saying that they are not trans does, in fact, make you both transphobic and an asshole imo. i don’t need to know anything about you; this is what you typed out and posted -💐
Cis people don’t get dysphoria. Have you ever met a cis person with gender dysphoria? No you haven’t. Why haven’t you? Because they are not trans, only trans people get gender dysphoria. That’s just how it is and you can’t change that fact. If you are identifying as trans and you don’t have dysphoria then you’re not trans, you’re cis. There’s nothing wrong with being cis. Cis isn’t a bad word, it’s not something to be ashamed of. It doesn’t mean you still can’t fight against gender roles or support the trans community. Nothing needs to change, but what does need to change is you appropriating what trans means.
For whatever reason someone is identifying as trans, whether it’s because they don’t fit in with what a “woman” or “man” should act like, or whether they think their life would be better and easier as the opposite sex, or whether they can’t accept being a gay woman or man because of homophobia, that it’d be easier just to live as a woman because they’re feminine anyway, whatever reason. If you don’t have gender dysphoria, you are not trans. It makes no sense at all for a trans person to not have dysphoria UNLESS they are transitioning because of gender roles. Gender roles have nothing to do with being trans. Gender non-conforming does not equal trans. It is to do with our gender (in the brain) not matching our sex. Gender dysphoria is simply feeling distress and discomfort because your gender and sex do not match. If you’re not distressed by your sex being female or being born female, you don’t have gender dysphoria, which means you are not trans.
I completely understand people if they are identifying as trans because they don’t fit in with what other girls or boys are meant to act like, it’s hard being different but identifying as trans is not the answer. You must embrace who you are and battle societies gender roles. I can’t exlude people that aren’t trans. I’m excluding cis people that think they are trans and I’m trying to make them see that. I’m not writing all of this because I think it’s fun to upset people. I’m writing this because people detransition from the misinformation you are spewing. People believe they are trans because they don’t fit into the “female” or “male” stereotype. They believe they are trans because they hate being a woman, because women are oppressed in society and are seen as sexual objects and lesser than men. They transition and go through hormones and surgery because of these reasons and then later on, realise what a big mistake they made. They end up hating the trans community because they were misguided into believing that being trans is something you can just identify as.
Trans is not a social identity, it’s biological just like being gay. We are born trans. We were born with a gender different to our sex and this causes us to be disconnected with our sex, this causes us discomfort and distress. Call me transphobic or a bigot all you like if that makes you feel better but you know this is all true and you harming more people than helping them. You are helping them ruin their lives and it’s awful, really fucking awful. At least I’m actually trying to make people more aware about what they’re getting into because transition isn’t all about just “going on a journey”, “discovering yourself” or “expressing yourself”. Yes, this is a part of it, but more than that transition is about aligning your sex with your gender.
You aren’t being “edgy” you’re just being rude
Miss Major in The Trans List (2016)
every time a cis person says ‘his or her’ when they couldve just used neutral pronouns they owe a nonbinary person $15
