Also @mezmer I’m proud to report that having a tv in the bedroom but only having it hooked up for physical media has not turned me into a horrible person, if anything I am enjoying movies again.

DVD player?? It’s so fun to go to the thrift and just buy a silly tape or dvd sometimes, super fun way to spend the evening and build a collection little by little. I love it. I think I might get a small CRT for my bedroom when we get into the trailer tbh. I bet that warm crackly CRTness would be even more suited for a bedroom setting

Yeah! It’s a Blu-ray player that I got when I worked at the bookstore (we got everything at cost so I have a pretty mean collection of movies). It really is nice tho to have a little routine of like, one movie, nothing more. Funnily enough it’s been keeping me off my phone because I want to focus on the movie (since I only allow myself one), and then afterwards I might get online for a little bit but I’ve actually been reading more too.
