Do I look like your girlfriend?
cw: men dni! love triangle between Powder and Jinx , Jinx is manipulative , a bit of violence , jealous Jinx , rough kissing , sooo much yearning
pt1
What are you going to do? (;ŏ﹏ŏ)
────୨ৎ────
Your face sank into the softness of your pillow. You pulled the sheet higher over yourself, hugged the little stuffed cat that always kept you company at night a little tighter and snuggled closer to the thin body lying beside you. She held you even tighter and buried her face in your neck. Your hands left the little cat and reached for your girlfriend's comforting arms instead; you took them and pulled them against your chest. You gently kissed her hands before turning around and hugging her.
You buried your face against her chest and felt warmer than ever.
A warmth you had experienced before but hadn't remembered until now.
You felt so comfortable with your girlfriend that it was almost as if you'd known her before, from another life, because those arms holding you right now were the most comfortable thing you'd ever experienced.
"pow..." You whispered, hugging her tighter.
"Is that your new girlfriend?" You heard the question in a voice rougher than the one you were used to. Long fingers ran through your hair.
Silence.
It wasn't difficult to recognize that voice. You knew it better than you knew the voices of your new friends. You could recognize it in a room full of people.
Just like you could recognize the feeling of those arms wrapped around you, the shape of her body, the braids falling over the two of you across the bed so they won't have to be left on the floor because of how long they were.
You pulled away just enough to look up. Your hands were trembling, your whole body was. You prayed with everything you had that it wasn't who you thought it was, that it was just someone who looked like her, like it had been this whole time. You hoped you'd find dark blue eyes in the dim light of the room instead of those bright pink ones.
But you saw it before you'd even finished raising your head.
"Jinx?" You gasped, slowly removing your arms around her waist as though you were afraid that moving too suddenly might make her react badly.
Saying that name out loud again felt surreal. You thought about it all the time, more than you'd ever admit, but you'd thought you'd never say it again, because the person who owned that name wasn't supposed to come back.
"That's me!" She shrugged her shoulders while smiling, just like she used to. As if nothing had happened between the two of you, as if this were just another normal day between you.
You turned on the light. Jinx was thinner than the last time you'd seen her, paler. Her eyes were darker around the edges, so much that worry immediately began eating away at you. You hated that you were worried about her right now, especially because she didn't seem worried at all, she just kept staring at you as if she had some right to.
"I need you to leave." You were standing now, your fists clenched at your sides and your head lowered, unable to look at her. "I never want to see you again."
"Is that right?" chuckle. "I remember you saying you'd do anything to see me again."
You tensed.
"That was a long time ago."
"I don't think it was."
Your hands moved up to your face, rubbing it in frustration. You wanted to cry from how angry you felt. You turned around, not even caring what she might do behind you. She was right, you were stupid for having said that, for acting all day as if that had never happened.
But she hadn't even said much when she answered your call. You hadn't said much either. You thought it didn't matter, you thought you'd dreamed it.
You'd walked hand in hand with Powder and kissed her as if nothing had happened.
"I was wrong, Jinx. I don't want to be with you, I can't. I shouldn't have called you, I'm with Powder now."
"I know."
She paused.
her voice changed slightly, enough to make you shudder.
"I'm sure you know how bad I felt when I found out you'd replaced me. I thought you weren't like that, but when I saw how much she looks like me..."
She didn't even finish the sentence, she simply shrugged. You didn't need to see her face to know it.
"No. Powder isn't like you. She's good. She's... Normal.'
"Normal?"
"Yeah, Jinx. She acts like a normal person, and she wouldn't dare do the half the shit you do."
She took long enough to answer that you turned to look at her again. You noticed her gaze was fixed on her hands, which were resting in her lap. You knew this was affecting her more than she let on, but you couldn't keep worrying about her.
"Whatever." She rolled her eyes. "I still need you to let me stay here."
"No fucking way."
Her hands curled into fists. Jinx tried not to look at you because she knew it would only make things worse. But she couldn't help rolling her eyes again, because she knew you were acting like this because of your new girlfriend, and it made her incredibly angry.
She didn't even understand why you were trying to act so dignified, it wasn't like you hadn't been crying to her the night before.
"Come oooooon. I'll just stay here and I won't go outside. Your girlfriend won't see me."
"It's not just because of her, Jinx. I can't do that."
She stood up and walked toward you. Her hands were clasped behind her back, as if she were trying to show you that she wasn't a threat, that she wouldn't touch you. But she knew that no matter how she approached you, you wouldn't do anything to her.
Because you were incapable of hurting her.
"You're the only person I can trust right now. Please, I need you. I have nowhere else to go." You were a few centimeters taller than her, yet somehow you still felt small beneath her gaze.
"Jinx, I can't..." You whispered, without even lifing your face to look at her.
You didn't need to.
She helped you do it with her hands.
"Please." Her thumbs brushed over your eyelids, feeling how wet they were.
Jinx towered over you with that expression she always used against you whenever she ruined everything between you. You'd like to say you didn't see it often, but you knew it too well. It always worked on you, no matter how terrible she'd made you feel.
"Powder can't see you." You noticed how her eyes darkened, how her fingers trembled against your cheeks.
"She won't." Her voice less gentle this time.
You nodded softly, ending the conversation, giving her what she wanted once again.
You wanted to let yourself stay close to her for a little longer, you didn't even realize your hands were resting on her waist until you pulled away after noticing how she was getting closer and closer.
At least you'd done something good for yourself and you didn't let her have you like that.
She didn't do anything to pull you back, that was your sign to leave. You grabbed your jacket and your keys, trying to get away from the blue-haired girl as quickly as possible. You glanced at her before walking out the door and left without looking back even once, because you knew that if you did, you'd go back.
Because you knew Jinx wouldn't be able to sleep that night either, because you knew perfectly well that she was fighting with that weren't really there.
────୨ৎ────
The walk to your girlfriend's dorm felt longer than usual. You allowed yourself to cry on they way there, but you managed to calm yourself down before arriving. You just hoped you didn't look as bad as you felt.
"Babe?" She sounded sleepy; you had definitely woken her up. You felt a little guilty when you saw her half-lidded eyes and messy hair.
She had so many things to do and you were bothering her.
But you knew it was better than staying with Jinx.
"Hey, pow... can I come in?"
The concern appeared almost immediately.
"Of course, love. Are you okay?"
Powder had never been the type to push too hard. So when you simply hugged her and hid your face in her neck, she stopped asking questions.
She wouldn't press you about it right now, but you knew you wouldn't be able to avoid that conversation forever.
You didn't think about it, you simply focused on the feeling of safety her arms gave you. Soon, you feel a sense of fullness in your chest again.
Powder took your jacket off, guided you to her bed and made sure you were comfortable. She pulled the sheet over you as much as she could before joining you, holding you as tightly as possible and gently kissing your forehead. She whispered sweet words to you until you fell asleep. It didn't take long.
You had never slept so well.
────୨ৎ────
You wake up feeling a familiar weight on your chest, and you can't help but smile. Your hand move up to the blue hair, and you tangle your fingers in it, combing through the rebellious strands. She buries her face even further into your chest, making little sounds in her sleep that only make you smile until your cheeks hurt.
You wish you could see her right now. Surely she'd never looked so peaceful as she did now. And it wasn't the first time the two of you had slept together, but you longed for her company so much in that moment that everything felt different.
You think you've never been this happy, this peaceful. Powder gives you all the peace you feel like you've needed your entire life. Her firm arms wrap around your waist, with just enough strength to keep you in place, to hold you. You think you won't ever need anything else in your life again. Powder is everything you've wanted for so long, everything you wished Jinx could have been.
"Pow... Honey, you have to wake up. I'm sorry, baby." Your voice came out softly, without any real desire to wake the person sleeping so peacefully on your chest.
You felt movement on top of you. She lifted her head, looked at you, lay back down, then looked at you again before lying back down once more.
"You look so pretty in the morning, it's not even fair."
You blushed. "Don't be stupid, wake up. We have class."
The mention of that seemed to make her wake up. She wasn't on top of you anymore, but she was still hugging you. Her eyes wide open now as she stared at you with a smile.
"Hi."
"Hi."
"Wanna tell me what happened last night?"
Your hand went to her cheek, caressing it. What could you tell her? That you called your ex girlfriend and, after a long time, she finally decided to listen to you and come back? That you let her stay in your room? You couldn't do that to her. Besides, if Jinx kept her word, Powder would never see her, would never know about her, and you really wanted to trust Jinx this time.
"I had a nightmare... One where you weren't with me. It was really sad, so I just came to make sure you were still with me."
Her eyes widened in surprise, but then she blushed.
"That's... really sweet, love." She almost seemed embarrassed.
"Luckily, you're still here."
Powder nodded with a smile, leaning toward you to kiss all over your face and make her way to your lips. She kissed you so many times that you laughed, until it was too late and the two of you had to run around everywhere to make it to your respective classes on time. Luckily, you had clothes there, since you used to have sleepovers when you were friends.
Today was better than yesterday. You no longer felt as self-conscious about all the looks on you and Powder with your hands intertwined. You were so happy that you forgot about the person in your room.
"She better not distract you from your finals, I need you for Ambessa's class" Caitlyn groaned, resting against her pink-haired girlfriend's chest.
"I'm definitely not taking responsability for anything."
Ekko smiled. "Powder is free when you start your exams. She won't leave your dear friend alone, Cait, sorry."
"Oh God, please don't tell me that.'
"I'm telling you. They'll be like Chuck and... that girl who's bothering him."
Everyone at the table turned to look at the boy as if he were crazy. You had to hold back a laugh at Caitlyn's expression.
"What are you talking about?" Vi chuckled softly, shaking her head.
"Well, yeah... hey, she looks a lot like you, Powder."
No.
This couldn't be happening
Just like everyone else, you turned your head around, confirming your worst fear. Jinx was there, talking to the guy from the cafeteria, who looked just as uncomfortable as anyone would when having a conversation with her.
"Wow, it is true!"
Your whole body froze. Your eyes were so wide that they felt dry, your throat was dry and little by little you began to turn pale.
She was really doing this to you. She had betrayed your trust again, and you knew perfectly well why she was doing it; she wanted Powder to see her, she wanted everyone to see her, she wanted you to see her. Jinx would never get tired of drawing attention to herself, and you realized it just now. She'd always done that, only this time you were the one she was bothering with her public disturbances.
"Hey, are you okay?" Caitlyn asked, knowing who that girl was.
You turned to look at Caitlyn, realizing that the whole group was looking at you worriedly. Before you could say anything, an explosion echoed throughout the entire cafeteria. The pain in your chest wasn't from fear, because you didn't have to look to know there was only pink smoke everywhere, but because you knew it was all a warning.
"I have to go," you said, letting go of your girlfriend's hand so abruptly that you almost stopped to apologize, but you didn't, because you didn't have time for that.
You ran out of there before they evacuated everyone. You walked quickly through the hallways, tripping a few times. You were terrified because you didn't know where she was, but shouting her name would be far too suspicious. There were still people in the hallways, and the fact that you were practically running was already strange enough.
What bothered you the most about all of this was that, even when you weren't near her, you could feel her everywhere. It was like a game where you had the disadvantage. She could be watching you from anywhere, and you'd never know. She always did that, knowing how crazy it made you every time she did it. You think it's the thing that annoys you the most about her.
With no other choice, you went back to your room. There were things scattered all over the floor, some broken, others not. You didn't even take the time to see if they were important. You just walked carefully toward your bed, making sure not to trip over anything.
You sat down, resting your elbows on your knees, your face hidden between your hands. You had no escape. Jinx wasn't going to leave you alone. She had never left you alone, not even during the months she disappeared. She had probably always been there, and you were stupid for thinking she'd left you alone. Now, you'd have to tell Powder that she'd come back, and if you told her that, you'd also have to tell her that you were the one who called her, and that you probably couldn't be together because your ex was a fucking psychopath who would chase you both until you hated each other.
"Ah, you're back!" Few things startled you when it came to Jinx, since you were already used to her appearing like that. But this time was one of them.
"Jinx." You said, standing up immediately. "What's your fucking problem? I let you stay and you do this?"
"Well! You should've seen it coming, silly."
She was sitting on your window, one leg hanging down, making fun of you.
"You see... I needed time and space to think. You were busy lying and fucking other girls. I had to get a little revenge, don't you think?"
You swallowed, trying to hide how much that had hurt you.
"You have no right to treat me like a slut."
She shrugged, standing up and approaching you in in slow and calculated steps.
"You had no right to replace me." Her face was close to yours, but not in a way you'd like it. It was challenging. She looked angry, almost as angry as You.
It wasn't that which bothered you, but the little shove she gave you.
You pushed her too, harder.
"That wasn't how it happened!"
That seemed to upset her.
"No? Then how did it happen? Tell me."
"I... fell in love."
"No, you didn't"
"Jinx, I...! I love Powder, okay?" You insisted desperately, trying to convince her. Maybe yourself too.
"No, you don't love her. Stop lying to yourself."
"Who says you get to decide what I feel?"
Her breathing became heavier. You kept talking, attacking her, and she couldn't even hear you anymore. You didn't notice how serious things were becoming. It wasn't just you yelling at her, she could her more people too. It was overwhelming, too much. She needed let it out, to do something.
"No... stop." She began to murmur, bringing her hands to her head and squeezing tightly.
"Jinx?"
"Shut up!"
She threw something in your direction, and you dodged it. You didn't know what it was until you heard the glass shatter against the wall.
"Did you just... throw something at me?"
"No... no, no, no, no. It wasn't at you!" She shouted desperately.
She tried to approach you, but you flinched. That stressed her out.
"I think you need to leave, Jinx. I'm serious this time."
Her eyes clouded over and se tried to approach you again.
"No... no. You don't love me? Do you love her more than me?" Her voice sounded truly broken this time, and that hurt you terribly. You had rarely heard her sound like that.
"You're not good for me, Jinx. I'm sorry, you have to leave now."
"No, no, no, no. Please, baby, don't leave me. Love me again, please."
Her hands cupped your face, her nails scratching your cheeks, squeezing you as if she needed you.
Your eyes were closed. You didn't want to see her, you couldn't see her.
"I can't..."
"Yes, you can, yes, you can." Her forehead was against yours now, her breath brushing against your lips. Your hands were gripping her wrists tighly, but you weren't pushing her away. You were just holding her.
"I love you, baby. I love you, I love you, I love you so, so much..."
"I..." You opened your eyes, just a little, enough to look at her. She was really not okay; swollen eyes, smeared mascara, flushed from crying. You hated seeing her like this, it hurt you so much.
You can't push her away, you can't let her leave like this. You're the only thing she has, if you leave, she'll be alone forever, alone with her cruel hallucinations. You don't know what she could do without you, if you leave her, if you abandon her like everyone else. It's always just been the two of you. You promised her you'd never leave before she disappeared.
"I love you." She whimpered against your lips, barely brushing them.
"I love you too, Jinx." You gasped, feeling your whole body become lighter after saying it. Everything heavy inside you disappeared in just a second, and your brain stopped working the moment she kissed you.
Her hands went to the back of your head, her fingers tangling in your hair. She pulled you tightly against her, desperately, as if she were going to die if she didn't have you at that moment. You tightened your hands around her waist, digging your nails in, scratching her, pulling her even closer.
It barely even seemed like a kiss because of how messy it was. Your lips collided with each other and your teeth bumped together. It was wet, too wet, and it even hurt every time your mouths collided again. She nibbled on your lower lip and you let out a soft sound, letting her tongue brush against yours. You bit her too, with anger, with desperation.
"I missed you." Kiss. "So much."
"Why didn't you come back?" You said, pulling away to look at her through your wet lashes.
Before she could answer, three knocks on your door stopped her.
"Sweetie, are you okay?" Your face turned into pure terror. It was Powder's voice, whom you'd completely forgotten about.
You felt like your whole world had fallen apart once again. You became hyper aware of yourself and what you were doing, of how you were betraying her trust, and you hadn't even taken long to do it. You trusted yourself not to run back to Jinx at the first opportunity, that you'd respect Powder, but you didn't, not even now that you had the chance to do the things right, because you immediately pushed Jinx toward your closet to hide her.
You looked at her with pleading eyes after kissing her one last time. You'd never asked her something so seriously like you did it now. She seemed like she wanted to say something, but you didn't let her. You only made her promise that she wouldn't move from that spot, that she wouldn't make any noise, that she wouldn't let Powder see her. She didn't answer with words, but she nodded, and that was all you needed to trust her.
Let me know what u think <3

This is the first fanfic I have written. I want to mention that english isn't my first language but I’d like to start writing more about Abby, Ellie, Caitlyn, Vi and Jinx!
This chapter focuses more on Powder.
────୨ৎ────
You and Powder had been friends for a long, long time now. You met her on your university campus on a hot, sunny day you'd never forget. You looked awful back then. The way you looked on the outside was a reflection of how you felt inside, you were just as broken. You yelled at her, pushed her and acted like crazy.
But she didn't react the way you'd expect it, she wasn't rude. especially not after noticing how embarrassed you were when you saw that she wasn't the person you were looking for.
She noticed the confusion all over your face. It made her feel a little sorry for you, so she offered to help you to find the person you were looking for, genuinely worry about you, even though you were a stranger.
But the moment you shook your head and walked away, she let it go.
You didn't.
She didn't notice at first. Actually, her friends did.
"Hey, powpow, you know that girl? She's been staring at you ever since we walked into the cafeteria." Ekko said, stealing a fry from his best friend while she was too busy looking in your direction to notice.
Powder narrowed her eyes, staring back at you without the slightest hint of embarrassment. You inmediately looked away, trying to pretend she hadn't caught you looking.
At first, she didn't recognize you, but once she did, she simply smiled, turned back to her and shrugged. "No? I mean... A few days ago she ran up to me screaming like a crazy. I assumed she had her period or something."
"wait what? Are we talking about the same girl?" Caitlyn said, a slight frown crossing her face.
You and Caitlyn shared a few classes together.
You were constantly fighting to be the best, becoming academic rivals from the moment your degree started. Over time, thought, you'd gotten to know each other. You were paired together for projects more than once, she thought you were a decent person and you never gave her a reason to think otherwise; even when you were competing over grades, you were always calm and polite with her.
"well, yeah, she called me by a different name. Guess I reminded her of someone she was looking for." She said it like it was nothing, but replaying the moment you shared in her mind. "It was something like... Jinx? Fuck, I don't know, I can't remember. Jinx doesn't even sound like a real name but she was pissed off."
Caitlyn's shoulders tensed.
She'd never been good at hiding things, even less when something made her uncomfortable, so before anyone could ask, she spoke. "Yeah, I know what are you talking about, I think they used to be best friends."
"what happened?"
"I don't know, I never met Jinx myself but she was pretty intense with her. I'm sure she hated me."
"How could anyone hate you? You're so sweet, like a cupcake." Powder rolled her eyes at her sister's comment, but, smiling, she told Caitlyn to continue.
"Over time, I assumed it was because of the time I spent with her friend, since we had to meet frequently to study. Jinx would call her and I could hear her telling her to calm down. For a while I even felt like I was being watched! but when I mentioned it, she just told me not to worry, that it was nothing. I suppose she spoke to Jinx, because I never felt that way again."
"no shit, powpow, you have a crazy twin." Ekko said, laughing while discreetly pointing at you.
"shut up." She rolled her eyes, laughing too. "Do you know what happened between them? Sounds like Jinx just disappeared."
"She never told me much, we don't share as many classes as we used to but she has changed. She's quieter, more serious, you know?"
"yeah I see. Do you guys think I should talk to her? She looks... really miserable."
"I don't know, powpow. You could end up getting yourself intro trouble." Vi stood up, followed by Caitlyn, holding hands. "It's not our problem."
The couple left, but not before Violet ruffled her little sister's hair and Caitlyn giving her a hug before leaving.
"You're going to talk to her anyway, aren't you?" It wasn't a question, it was a statement.
"obviously."
"cool. Are you going to finish this?" He asked while stealing his friend's dessert.
"all yours, ekko." She sighed, turning in your direction only to realize you were gone.
────୨ৎ────
The next few days, Powder tried to track you down on campus. Even though she really wanted to find you, the only information she had about you was your physical appearance, and no one seemed to have a name for you that actually fit. She couldn't exactly ask Caitlyn either, not because she didn't trust her, but because Caitlyn could be a little clumsy sometimes and she didn't want her sister to found out, not even by accident.
She spent a few weeks like that. You didn't seem to cross path in the hallways. She couldn't even find your social media, your name or anything about you.
Eventually, she forgot about you. Studying robotics was demanding enought to keep anyone busy. She was in middle of exam weeks so university consumed more of her time and energy, she could barely think of anything other than endless numbers and what she might invent next to achieve the highest score.
But fate brought you face to face again, and this time, you didn't yell at her.
"Oh, fuck! Sorry, you take it."
Those bright blue eyes inmediately traveled toward the sweet sound of your voice, so familiar, yet somehow not.
You felt your heart tighten in your chest the moment you saw her. She looked more alive, more vibrant, even her face was rounder, with soft, rosy cheeks. Her eyes had the same shape, but that was the only real difference because while the eyes you longed for were a brilliant pink, hers were a soft blue. No dark circles, no red, irritated skin around the edges from crying so much, no lines of stress. Everything was the same, her hair –but short–, her teeth... Everything.
"You!"
The cheerful sound of her voice pulled you out of your thoughts. Her voice was softer, more melodic, less used to shouting.
"hi?" You murmured, taking a step back, alfeady prepared to run away again.
"How are you? You're pretty hard to find, huh?"
"Were you looking for me?" You asked, frowning.
Oh, right
Last time you yelled at her and never even apologized
Oh, right!
You'd also been stalking her and she probably noticed it. You're not as good at it as Jinx was.
You were just about to apologize when she interrupted you. "I think we should be friends."
Your expression was one of pure surprise and you felt mistrust growing in your chest.
"What?"
Powder shrugged. "Yeah, that way I can help you find your friend."
The mention of Jinx made you flinch.
"She... no. She's gone, I'm not looking for her anymore, but thanks."
"No?" She tilted her head to one side like a confused puppy. You had to fight back a smile.
"No, but we can still be friends if you want."
"Sounds good!" She said without hesitation, grabbing the bag of candies that had brought the two of you together. "Come on, let's walk around while we share these and you can tell me about yourself, my new friend."
And from that moment on, the two of you became inseparable.
You didn't trust her right away, but it didn't take long.
The two of you spent time together whenever you were free. You'd go to her room or she'd come to yours. Vi was a little wary of you at first, but she eventually got used to yours presence. You went back to being yourself again, you even became friends with Caitlyn again, who told you how relieved she was to be working with you in the few classes you still shared, and how happy she was to see you alive again.
Your new friend's group accepted you easily. You liked all of them and they all liked you. No one asked you any uncomfortable question or acted weird around you, so you assumed they didn't know about your first interaction with Powder, which was a relief.
Everyone was so kind to you that you started laughing the way you used to again, maybe even more than before. You and Powder were always shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee. Sometimes you'd stare at her for a little too long, which would earn you a light shove from her followed by some playful teasing. You didn't mind, because whatever she thought was nowhere close to the truth. She looked so much like Jinx that you simply couldn't stop looking at her while nostalgia slowly ate away at you from the inside.
There were days when you forgot they weren't the same person and you wanted to ask her why she had abandoned you, days when you wanted to pick a fight with her over anything, when you waited for her to provoke you so you could do it, but all you ever got from her were gentle jokes, kind gestures and stability. You almost felt guilty whenever your heart skipped a beat after seeing her get angry over something, even if it had nothing to do with you.
You loved Jinx, but you began to care for Powder. Then there came a moment when you stopoed seeing her as an extension of what you once had and instead loved Powder while remembering Jinx.
You accepted that Jinx would remain just a memory. She would never stop being the most intense love you'd ever had, but Powder's constant presence made you realize that Jinx didn't have to be the only one. So many times you felt guilty for thinking you'd fallen in love with Powder just because she looked like your last lover, but every time you returned to yours room after spending the day with her and all you could think about was how much you loved saying her name, you let that guilt go. You love Powder, you love her blue eyes and her short hair. You love her sweet voice and how sweet she's with you. You love her because she's not Jinx.
She loves you too. Getting used to having you around was easy and she didn't mind it in the slightest. You quickly became part of her family. Nothing made her happier than seeing you happy and she was always looking for an excuse to be close to you. She couldn't even remember why she'd approached you in the first place anymore. Seeing you being so loud, funny and pretty made her think that whole situation didn't matter anymore. You were okay now, and whoever had decided they didn't want you in their life had lost everything.
She was so in love with you that she felt even sillier than her sister was around Caitlyn. She was terrified that you didn't feel the same way, but you never acted like that was the case. It seemed like you cared about her just as much. She had noticed the way you looked at her from the very beginning, but she didn't fall for you until sometime after the two of you became friends. Once she did, she couldn't help noticing how much you'd changed. You no longer looked sad. Actually, you were beautiful now. She adored your cute eyes and your beautiful hair. You were so beautiful that you almost looked unreal. She loved you so much.
She loves you
"Oh my God! Did you paint all that?"
You had invited Powder to the house you grew up in. Luckily, no one was home. You gave her a quick tour before leading her to the place that had brought you the most happiness while growing up.
The room where you used to paint.
"I have always loved art. I used to paint all the time, but it's been a while since the last time." You answered, your cheeks flushed as you shrugged awkwardly while smiling at the flattering way she was surprised.
Powder glanced at you, smiling softly as she watched you tuck a strand of hair behind your ear. You always looked so pretty when you were flustered.
"Why not? You're really good."
"I guess I just haven't had the time. And thank you." You shrugged, moving closer to one of the few walls you had painted.
Normally, you didn't paint on the walls, but you remembered a few times when inspiration only came if you painted little flowers in the corner of one.
"Do you paint?" You asked quietly, glancing at her as your fingers traced the colorful lines against the white wall.
"I'm not that good." She approached you, crouching down beside you to see what you were looking at.
"Do you want to paint with me?"
"I literally just told you I'm not good at it." She laughed softly, giving you a gentle shove.
"You don't have to be."
You stood up and walked toward the closet where you remembered keeping all yours paints.
You took out every bottle you could find, setting them on the floor before sitting down yourself. The huge smile on your face and the hopeful look in your eyes made her follow you almost inmediately, taking the old paintbrush you were offering her.
"I'm gonna ruin your wall." She said as she painted a dark blue smiley face. She used so much paint that the blue eyes started crying dark blue tears.
You laughed quietly and shook your head. "Don't worry, it's okay. You're using too much paint, try using just a little, like this."
With your own brush, you painted another smiley face next to hers. Yours was light blue. She reacted as if you had painted The Starry Night
"That's you and me. Dark blue and light blue."
"You have blue hair, I don't."
She rolled her eyes, smiling because she knew you understood what she meant.
The two of you started painting, and this time she remembered your advice.
Her brushstrokes were a little clumsy and messy, yours were smoother. Every now and then you'd catch each other looking, but neither of you would anything. You'd just laugh before going back to painting. You smiled to yourself whenever you looked at her drawings, they were cute simply because the person making them was. She smiled whenever she looked at yours; you were so much better than she was, and your paintings were just as beautiful as you.
She painted a robot. It was what she knew best. Using a paintbrush made it harder, so it looked messier than it would've with a pencil, but i wasn't terrible.
You painted two koi fish, one light blue and the other dark blue. You did it because you thought painting her right in front of her would be a little too weird.
"You're really talented."
"Yours isn't that bad either." You said, trying not to get too embarrassed by the compliment.
Powder looked at hers, then at yours and then back at hers. She laughed.
"You're definitely just trying not to hurt my feelings."
"I swear I'm not!"
The two of you laughed before falling into a comfortable silence, simply looking at the wall in front of you.
You lowered your gaze, noticing her hands were covered in paint. You looked at yours, they weren't as messy as hers.
"I used to really like it when my hands were covered in paint. I don't know, it made me feel more like myself."
You were so focused on thinking about it that you didn't notice the mischievous glint in your best friend's eyes. "Oh yeah? Just your hands?"
"Well..."
You hadn't even finished speaking when you felt the cold paint on your face, followed by another, and another, and another.
Your lips parted in exaggerated shock and you gasped. You didn't tell her to stop playing, you didn't tell her they were going to make a mess. You didn't even tell her not to start. You simply grabbed one of the paint bottles and dumped it all over the sleeveless shirt she was wearing. Her eyes widened in surprise before she burst into laughter, grabbed another bottle and threw paint back at you, starting an a paint war between the two of you, turning the wall, the floor and everything around you into a storm of colors.
"Hey! That's not fair! You have got the last bottle of paint!" She shouted between breathless laughs, raising one hand in front of herself as if that would somehow save her.
"You started it, I'm just finishing it."
She lunged at you, making the paint spill all over both of you as you fought over the bottle. The two of you laughed and shoved each other until you were completely out of breath. Paint was everywhere on her, turning her into a rainbow of every color. You weren't any better.
"You look so pretty covered in paint."
You froze.
You hadn't been expecting that.
It wasn't the first time she'd called you pretty, in fact, she'd called you things far sweeter than that before.
But it was the way she said it, the way she looked at you, the way she suddenly grew shy when you didn't answer, the blush spreading across her cheeks.
"Yeah?" you murmured. She let out the breath she'd been holding.
Her eyes drifted toward the corner of the room for a moment, trying to gather her thoughts. The tension between you was palpable; the playful atmosphere had shifted and felt heavy. Breathing sounded louder, and neither of you dared to move.
Then she remembered where you were. "Why aren't your parents home?"
"I don't really feel comfortable around them ever since they found out I'm a lesbian." You answered simply, almost too quickly. "They're in another city for work right now. I prefer coming here when they're not around."
"Oh."
So you could feel the same way. So now that she knows you're into girls, she thinks you're really, really obvious. She believes you liked her from the moment you became friends and she doesn't mind that. She's happy about it.
"Does it make you uncomfortable?" you asked nervously. It was a ridiculous question but your nerves got the better of you.
"How? I like girls too." she answered with a smile. "I mean... I'm bi, I thought you knew."
"Oh... thank God." You sighed. "No I didn't knew"
"Thank God what? That I like girls?" she responds, approaching you before poking your side with one finger.
"That it doesn't make you uncomfortable! Obviously." You jumped.
Powder looked at you quietly, the corners of her lips curling into a soft smile. Her hand moves up to your cheek, feeling its softness in contrast to the dry paint resting there. Her thumb moves, caressing the skin. Her eyes stayed locked on yours until they weren't and they occasionally drift toward your lips. At first, it was only for a couple of hesitant second, but when all you did was sigh and mirror her movements, they lingered there a little longer before returning to your eyes.
She didn't ask, she simply leaned in, closing the distance between you. Your eyes squeezed shut, so did hers. Your lips barely brushed, the two of you sighed before opening your eyes again. You were already breathless and she looks completely fascinated.
It didn't take long before your hands found her face, paint covered fingers resting against her paint covered cheeks. You pull her close again and kiss her, harder this time, with more intensity, trying to pour everything you felt into that kiss. She kiss you back immediately. Her hands move to your waist, wrapping her arms around you as tightly as she can. She's gentle as she kisses you and holds you, she remains sweet while you are more volatile. She softly rubbed your sides, pulling away for only catch her breath. You finally matched her pace after three or four kisses. She wasn't rough, she's calm and she wasn't in a hurry. But she didn't make you wait either, she gives you what you want, kissing you again each time she pulls back, never breaking that slow, steady rhythm. She doesn't tease you or provoke you. Her kisses are nothing like what you're used to. You love them and at the same time, you couldn't help feeling embarrassed by how desperate and impatient you look right now.
"You have to stop kissing me like that, beautiful. We're in your parents' house." She said, pulling away from your lips only to leave little kisses all over your face.
You were out of breath. You hadn't kissed anyone in a long time. Doing it again reminded you just how much you'd missed it. You hadn't had sex in a long time either, you hadn't even touched yourself since Jinx disappeared. You were so starved for affection that it embarrassed you.
"They won't be home soon." You murmured, unable to say it any louder.
You didn't want to make her uncomfortable, you didn't want to pressure her into doing something she didn't want to do. She didn't seem like she didn't want to.
Powder kissed you again, this time being the one to cup your face. You felt her sit down on your lap, you welcomed her gladly and your hands tightnening around her waist. You didn't mind her grinding against your tight, you helped her, guiding her hips back and forth against you. Neither of you could pull away. She felt an overwhelming need to taste your lips over and over again and so did you. Actually, even more, because you love Powder and because she reminded you of something else.
"Do you think it'll be obvious we used the shower? We're covered in paint, and I know you won't let me touch you with my fingers covered in it." Her forehead rested against yours, her laugh brushing against your lips.
You shook your head and gently helped her off your lap. The two of you stood up, your fingers intertwining. She walked behind you until you reached the bathroom. You didn't even wait for her to step inside before pushing her against the door and kissed her again.
You didn't try to take off any of her clothes until she was the one who removed the first piece, murmuring compliments the moment she saw you without your shirt. You did the same when she took hers.
"I missed you" You said between kisses, your voice trembling.
"We were only apart for three minutes." She laughed.
You didn't answer, you simply gasped against her lips and she happily intertwined her tongue with yours. Your hands moved to her back and unhooked her bra, not shy in the slightest as they returned to the front and cupped her breasts. Powder let out a soft moan and her hands slid toward your hips, digging her fingers into your pants and pulling you closer to her. With desperation and clumsy hands, she undid your pants. You helped her pull them down and then she took off her own.
She gently pushed you toward the shower, taking great care not to let you fall. You attacked her neck and bit the skin of her shoulders. She lovingly turned you around and pressed you against the wall, her chest against your back, moving your hair aside so she could kiss the back of your neck.
You felt her hands slide down your shoulders, caressing your back. Soon, you were wearing nothing but your panties.
"Pow..." You moaned, letting your head fall forward until your forehead rested against the tiles as her hands guided yours behind your back.
"We have all the time in the world, sweetheart, don't be so impatient." She purred against your ear, kissing the spot just beneath it.
She intertwined both of yours hands with only one of hers. The grip was soft and gentle, completely lacking any force, you wouldn't have had to struggle at all to pull away if you'd wanted to.
Her other hand moved, not to your body. The water began to run and it soaked her inmediately. It landed on your back, so cold it made you arch and gasp. Powder turned her attention back to you. Her hand moved along your side, rubbing slow up and down as she kissed your shoulder. You shivered every time she moved a little too high, impatient to feel her hands on you. Eventually, she reached high enough to cup your left breast. She sighed at how soft you felt beneath her hand, as soft as the rest of you. Her hand wasn't big enough to hold you completely, but she slowly massaged your breast.
With her middle and index fingers, she caught your hardened nipple. She tugged at it and played with it until a pitiful moan escaped your lips. She kissed your cheeks and murmured a quiet apology that wasn't sincere in the slightest.
"Oh baby, I don't think it's fair that only one of them gets any attention. Would you keep your hands still for me, my love?" She asked so sweetly, as if expecting a yes but also a no, as if she would simply keep holding you gently if you told her no instead of finding a thousand and one ways to tease you for challenging her.
You nodded almost desperately. "Good girl."
Your hands were free now, but they remained behind your back, obediently. Powder repeated the same process with your other breast until she was satisfied, until you were sore. You couldn't help but roll your hips back against her.
Her hands began to trail lower. They rubbed over your stomach, your sides and your hips. Her fingers squeezed your hips, lightly scratching them, never hard enough to hurt. Nothing she did ever hurt. Her touch was careful at all times, always kind, always gentle. She gave your hips a couple of soft pats before pulling your underwear down to your thighs. She moved even closer to you, you could feel her breasts against your back, her swollen nipples rubbing against you.
Her left hand slid down to your lower stomach and then lower. Her fingers slipped between the wet folds of your pussy. "Ow, you're so wet, sweetheart." Her voice came out hoarse and breathless, making you whimper.
You shivered against her. Your hands moved to the wall, searching for something to cling to. She traced slow circles over your swollen clit before sliding her fingers down to your entrance, rubbing it gentle, feeling the way you clenched around nothing.
Her free hand—her right—moved and rested on your lower back and then lower. It caressed your ass before slipping between your legs. Her fingers stroked your entrance while her other hand continued rubbing your clit. You were so slick that two fingers slipped inside easily. She began to finger you, thrusting gently with two fingers, taking her time with you instead of overstimulating you.
"Are you okay, love?" She asked softly, so sweet and kind, so tenderly that it didn't seem like she was making you tremble at the same moment she said it.
"Fuck... yeah, I'm... more than okay, Pow. I can take another, please." You moaned breathlessly, your hips moving along with her fingers.
"Ow baby, I don't want to overstimulate you. Let's take it slow, okay?" But you wanted your mind to go blank, you wanted to think about no one but her. You wanted to be touched until you were nothing more than a body. You wanted her to make you come so many times she'd have to take care of you afterward. You wanted her to ruin you.
"Please..."
"You're so cute, baby, just relax. Be a good girl and cum on my fingers." And with a voice that gentle yet so firm you couldn't argue. You accepted what she gave you. You'd been taught to accept what you were given.
Your moans, sweet words and the sound of the running water were the only things that could be heard within those four walls. Her fingers never stopped caressing your sore clit. She didn't stop penetrating you either, she added another finger, taking you with three, quickly. Steady thrusts inside you and firm caresses on your clit made you come. Your hips moved, and your whole body trembled. You came with your girl's name on your lips and she kept caressing you until your legs gave out and you collapsed against her. Powder wrapped her arms around you and kissed your shoulder over and over until you came back to yourself.
"Still with me?" She asked with a quiet laugh when your eyes finally opened again.
You smiled lazily and nodded, slowly turning around. "Yeah... Thank you for that, pow."
Your hands slid around her waist and you kissed her lovingly. She smiled against your lips several times, accidentally ruining the kisses, only to lean in for another one each time. The water slipped between your lips and wet strands of hair clung to her cheeks. Her short hair was wet against her neck and shoulders and she looked more beautiful than ever. Her face was flushed, her whole body was, everything around the two of you felt warm.
"You don't have to thank me for that." She rolled her eyes.
You didn't answer, you simply kissed her again. You did the same thing she'd done to you and gently pushed her back. Her back met the wall and she let out a soft sound at the contact. You pulled away just enough to watch her catch her breath. Your eyes went to her neck, to her shoulders rising and falling, to her chest moving with every breath she took.
Your lips closed around one of her pink nipples, sucking gently because you knew she was gentle in everything she did. You did the same to the other, your hands sliding down along her sides. You kissed her abdomen, her waist, her belly and her hips. You kissed her thighs and your hands rested against the backs of them. You pulled down her panties and gently lifted her left onto your shoulder. Her hand moved to the top of your head and her fingers tangled in your dark hair.
She moaned your name, throwing her head back.
From this angle, you could see her chest rising and falling with every breath, droplets of water trickling down her abdomen, her throat moving as she swallowed and her neck muscles tensing. It was a sight that made you clench your legs.
The hand that wasn't holding her leg moved to her pussy. You fingers parted her for you, revealing how swollen and flushed her clit was, eager for your mouth or your fingers. You didn't keep her waiting any longer and covered it with your mouth. Your lips tightened around it and you sucked gently. You pulled away, flattened your tongue and moved up and down, giving her clit little licks before sucking again. Your fingers slid down and sank inside her.
Powder moaned your name in desperation. Her back arched and slammed against the wall again. She tried to control herself, but she kept pushing your head closer to her. Her other hand was buried in her own hair, pulling at it to hold on against the wave of pleasure you were giving her. She felt like she might collapse at any moment, but you gave her no rest from your wicked tongue and your fingers.
"Oh God, I need you to... I need you to look at me. Please!" She cried out.
You obeyed, fluttering those doll-like eyelashes at her. You watched her, breathless and glassy-eyed. Just seeing your huge eyes gazing at her like that while she rode your tongue was enough to make her come. You guided her trough her orgasm and swallowed every spasm of pleasure.
You stood up, hugging her just as she had done with you.
"I love you."
Oh
"me too." You said.
────୨ৎ────
You had walked her to her dorm room, now you were heading to your own.
Your jacket didn't stop your whole body from feeling cold, so you hugged yourself as you walked.
You barely managed to change your clothes that night. You threw yourself onto the bed and just tossed and turned. You couldn't stop thinking about her, no matter how hard you tried. The memory of her hands on your skin felt so distant that you feared you might no longer remember it.
So you called her.
She answered.
────୨ৎ────
Your hands kept clenching into fists before slowly relaxing again. You could feel everyone's eyes on you. Some weren't bad at all, others were. You knew they knew you were Powder's girlfriend or something like that.
She was well-known around campus, whether because of her good personality or something else. She got along with most people, and everyone likes her because of how helpful and sweet she was. You'd known that ever since the two of you became friends, because someone was always greeting her in the hallways, and over time, people had started recognizing you too.
But not that much.
You didn't like the attention.
You like making friends, but you not being judged.
That had always scared you.
You hadn't even officially come out, but you couldn't blame Powder for that. You never told her.
She'd posted you on one of her stories and everyone knew immediately. You hesitated over whether you should repost it, but you knew it would look really bad if you didn't.
Everything had escalated way too quickly. You couldn't think about the things you'd said to her yesterday without wanting to smack yourself in the face from embarrassment. You didn't regret it, but you didn't feel good enough for her, either. Surely no one would think you were good enough for her if they knew what you'd done.
"Well, this is where I leave you." You heard Powder's voice.
You smiled softly "Yeah. Thanks for walking me, pow. You didn't have to."
"We won't be able to see each other today, so I want to spend as much time with you as I can while I can." She squeezed your hand, smiling at you.
"Stay over in my room tonight."
"I'll see if I can." She giggled softly. She looked so cute, you thought. "See you, honey."
"See you." You said it just before she planted a quick kiss on your lips. No quite quick enough for nobody else to see. You shivered.
You watched her walk away until she disappeared down the hallway. Only when you could no longer see her did you feel like you could breathe again. You weren't sure you'd ever get used to that kind of affection in public. Your only relationship besides the one that was just beginning had been with Jinx, and with her, you'd never had anything like this in public. You couldn't even go out together the way you wanted to, you didn't want to get her into trouble. You'd never told her what you wanted, either, so it wasn't entirely her fault.
You entered your classroom and sat down on the front row of the steps, like you always did. You took out your notebook, your phone to record the class and your favorite pen. You'd bought it with Jinx. The memory made your chest tighten. You had to stop thinking about her. What you had with Powder was okay, you hadn't replaced her, you had the right to be happy.
But no matter how hard you tried to convince yourself, you couldn't stop going back to the same thoughts over and over again. You spent all your classes like that, and by the end, you weren't just physically exhausted, you were emotionally drained, too.
────୨ৎ────
When you returned to your dorm and found no messages from Powder, you sighed. The night was going to feel heavier with you being this alone. All you could do was wait for her to text you and confirm that she'd come keep you company tonight.
You let yourself fall onto your bed, almost falling asleep right there. You should shower first, but every muscle in your body hurt and your mind wouldn't leave you alone. You used your phone for a while to distract yourself, but it was begging you to charge it, so you had to put it down. At least putting it away gave you the little push you needed to finally go shower.
When you came back, you noticed your phone was locked, but there was only a few seconds before you could use it again, so you didn't even pay attention to it. You didn't have enough energy for that. You lay back down and opened Powder's chat. You were still the last message. You didn't care and sent another one, reminding her that she was welcome to stay in your room.
You didn't wait for an answer and the exhaustion finally won.
I'm sorry sweetheart!!! I'm really busy today, but I'll definitely stay over tomorrow! ( ꈍᴗꈍ)
