Here’s a fuzzy little yarnbomb I installed today in honor of my friend’s birthday. I call her “Maurice” and she’s on the slide in the park next to Mills Lawn Elementary in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
It’s my first yarnbomb in Yellow Springs!
When I installed these cozies last year two of the bollards were completely covered with overgrown brush. This summer the crew has kept the area clear and some kind person was inspired by my yarnbombs to make cozies for those bare stumps. They look great! I wish I knew the mystery yarnbomber’s identity.
Lion Brand Yarns, which has a big studio on 15th St. near Broadway, is having a big yarn bombing party 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Union Square.
