Xia Stool by Soraia Gomes Teixeira & Burel

The Oporto, Portugal based designer Soraia Gomes Teixeira corporated with the Burel Factory to make this idea of a stool come to reality.

To revitalize a common object like a chair, she combined it with the sound of an Accordion. each chair has a different note built inside, making it fun to hear the sound you got by choosing a Xia stool between others. The sound being generated from the air that is caught inside the felt covered balloon, which is then pushed through the instrument, while you sit down.

i hope that one day we live in a world where children are allowed to just be children, where they dont have to fight tooth and nail for their rights and their futures, but i could not be prouder of this generation
