Another class work!

Our next big project for this year was Tarot cards! I chose The Hanged Man.

Myriad, a character from @pastelgoop (with permission of course!) is the main protagonist in this piece, wrapped in symbolic chain. It looks as if he’s holding on, following the meaning of the reverse card, stalling and avoiding sacrifice to continue holding on to his old ways.

I’ve always had a small problem with making the legs super long, so I’m hoping these practices will help make my style really fit itself. I also did some different bodies to really improve on drawing more than on type.

Interested in games I’ve made?

I’ve posted some old art in my game design classes at school last year, but here is a little sneak peak

Provided is a video of a museum game I made this year. A SUPER simple game that showcases some art me and my fellow developers. There is music done by C418 (my favourite song, Aria Math) and Home (Syncronize, recommended by one of the developers as a fan of their music).

Honestly, this project is not my proudest. I found the subject tough (especially when I’m so new to complex shading) and couldn’t think of something interesting.

I absolutely loved doing this project because the reference was combined by myself. A rose and a girl falling together to create a meaningful story.

The girl with the flower sprouting from her chest represents my true self, identity, culture, and being bursting from the old body I developed, creating something new.

Did some scratch board art in my media design class! Not bad for my first time and I loved it! I’ll have a final project version of this coming soon!

A stupid little blender walking animation I’d made in game design. Can’t remember if I posted it here so I’m just gonna do it now.

If you really can’t tell. I grew up on XBOX. This is just a silly little animation made to look super janky. I didn’t want to animate the turn so I just put it in T-Pose and let it do its thing.

I made my final animation of the school year!

I loved working in that class, even though I had to work with a gal I absolutely hated. No thanks to her that I made it through this semester!

I made a little animation in blender! I got bored in game design class and decided to watch a bunch of tutorials on how to make fires in blender! I have a second animation with a more realistic fire on it that I might post as well!

I tried redrawing two of my shapeshifter characters. I swear every year my sketching style gets longer legs. I suppose if you’re good at drawing something, draw it the most.

Anyways! Standing one is Allison and leaning one is Marrion. Both hate each other but what’s more than a little enemies to lovers and territorial rivalry.

(I’m pretty sure people have seen this specific art reference I was using on Pinterest. It’s pretty damn common)
