Also cause Shizuha is staring at me and BEGGING to be more than a cleaned up sketch, and I need to test how the thing I want to try will work-

Okay, here's the March post fr this time lmfao

I recently got one of those "Wreck This Journal" books to help with my art block and felt like drawing Sukuna for the prompt

It's a bit messy and the handprint was an absolute struggle (Acrylics man... Acrylics) but I at least got it somewhat close to how I wanted? I didn't want to get too perfectionist with it since I know most of what i draw in the book is probably gonna get damaged or ruined based on some of the prompts. The goal is more just to have fun drawing and seeing how I can work with the journal.

Either way, it was kind fun getting back into traditional again

March post will be delayed until tomorrow as I impulsively decided to try using acrylic paints (which I didn't have until today) with it and unfortunately I can't get a good photo until it dries.

It's a bit messier then I would have liked and I think I may "happy accident"-ed myself too close to the sun but it's fine since the point of the book it's in is to kinda just mess around. April should be faster though since now I have the materials for it and I already mostly have a full sketch ready to go (just need to finish the character on the other page but she shouldn't take too long-)

Been a year since I last posted anything but I'm hoping I can actually properly stick to posting for once since things aren't as hectic for me as last year and I'm finally medicated for ADHD and have a better grasp of scheduling and time allocation. Had this finished yesterday but wasn't able to upload since it was late and I had plans for today. I'm not used to doing this type of lighting or perspective but I really wanted to try something out of my usual comfort zone since I watched JJK around January last year and was inspired by it quite a bit. I'm pretty proud of how it came out, especially since there were quite massive time gaps between me working on it and such. Was certainly difficult and tried my patience a lot but I think it helped get more in touch with things. As for why I chose Mahito specifically, I just really like his design a lot and he had quite a few shots in the anime that were just so good. Not much else to say today, I'm tired, Sleep well, Don't work till 4 in the morning like I did T^T

This is like 4 months, maybe more, late but like I'm making it my goal to make my own profile pics of every in game appearance Wanderer has not including other promotional stuff. Definitely not making up the in game only rule because I'm coping because the impressions set came out while working on this and I had to stick with this otherwise I'd never get anything done if I dropped it and based it on the impressions or the other clothing set that dropped even though it's tempting. Definitely not-

Also still working out the chibi style a bit since I'm still getting used to drawing with less or more simplified details. Still struggling on the 'leave the fine details out' part specifically since I'm so used to trying to fit as much detail as I can into things so working with a style that to my understanding thrives on simplicity is a bit difficult.

I still really like how this turned out though. Initially I was going to go with the coffee interaction from this event but I felt like I preferred the ending interaction between him and Nahida since I just love the expression at the end and I also got a bit of 'mom stop you're embarrassing me' vibes and that was too cute to pass up. I don't really think I got the eyeroll that well since I'm not used to drawing that sort of expression just yet (Still need a bit of practice) but I still really like it.

So this may be a really disorganised post since I don’t know how exactly to go about this but I just wanted to clarify this because I feel I need to rip the bandaid at this stage since I haven’t exactly talked about this yet but this is mainly in regards to requests and just general posting and activity. This isn’t as relevant for Tumblr since I only ever had one or two requests (That I had to scrap since unfortunately my requests were meant to be closed even if I did take one from a friend at the time) but I thought it’d be relevant to post anyway. 

Without beating around the bush I will no longer be taking requests. Not now and not for the foreseeable future anymore. During the time that I used to do requests I was in my last year of high school (I believe specifically during a “gap year” that I was having) and later during the early days of me working, where I didn’t really get many shifts and it was still generally manageable as certain things had not occurred yet, especially since I didn’t really have any unmanaged special interests or anything going on at the time. However as of recent years I haven’t really had the ability to manage requests let alone working on my own personal art. This is due to a lot of factors most of which are general personal life issues. I won’t go into detail but a lot of it is related to mental health and just in general having a lot less time to focus on things I want to due to work or other lifestyle changes/external factors. I want to be able to get back into art more regularly but I don’t feel I can do so by doing art requests since I basically need to rebuild my management routine from scratch in order to even do things I want. 

Second thing (And this is more Tumblr related than Insta or Deviantart related) is that this will be a fanart only account and will not be posting anything unrelated to art that I have personally made. I plan to make a separate personal account as I don’t want this page to become cluttered and honestly I just kinda wanna have a separation between accounts that I use for socialising or other things and for posting art. I will still reply to messages here however I may not reply to them as much as I will likely only log onto this account to post fanart. Also to note is the seperate account is going to be 18+ only, not because it will be strictly nsfw but because since it is a personal account and I just don’t want to talk to anyone under 18 as it makes me uncomfortable. Minors are free to interact with this account as it is a sfw account and will not be used for personal connections. Commenting on posts is fine however do not attempt to personally talk to me as it makes me uncomfortable.

As for Deviantart, I do not recommend messaging me here at all as I do not get notifications, nor do I use the app enough to actually see anything.

Haven’t posted in months because of personal management issues regarding finding a new routine but I swear I’m trying to get back into regular posting, to make up for it have a work in progress. Going to try putting fun above perfection on this one since I  think I’m getting to picky with everything which is leading me down a sorta procrastination spiral

Had this ready to go yesterday but I ended up playing Genshin to a point of hand cramps after the live yesterday so I was liek “Fuck it, just do it tomorrow” Literally just felt like doing a clotheswap with two of my favourite caharcters- Originally it was because in my headcanon for modern AUs (in terms of Scara) I could see one relating to the other- Then I played through the Imprisoned Marionette event and the idea went out the window at least for Mafuyu- Still wanted to do a clotheswap though cause liek I like both of these characters a lot- Mafuyu’s hair took a while to get to a point that I liked and both the dress and Scara’s outifit took a while since the details felt a little difficult to translate and the layer management was a nightmare- (iirc it was somewhere over like 280ish but I think it was only accounting for the shading and lighting layers sicne I don’t name those) particularly for lighting and shading. Still got it done. It may not be perfect but I still like it-

This took me a month and a half to complete but like honestly even though Ei's design physically pains me I would do it all over again cause I honestly love her so much. Basically I loved the bird idle she has and I wanted to appreciate it fully- Apparently at the time appreciation=full background piece that took me forever simply because I couldn't decide what area in game I wanted set the piece in. I believe the area was the tree just right to the stairs in Tenshukaku? I might be wrong on exact positioning but I know the spot was there. Also eyy yo 'can't commit to a shading method to save my life' check- I ended up changing the chalky shade edge cause I didn't like how it looked here. I still used the chalk brush to shade but I ended up softening the edges a bit so the transition didn't look as harsh. Now I will return to my little cryptid chamber to do some scheming till the next energy boost hits and I slumber once more-

So like I was initially gonna have her dress as a ghost since the initial idea was like she'd be a ghostie and Boo Tao would be doing their best Hu Tao cosplay but like I physically could not think of a costume for that so like have this like weird sort of reaper costume. I don't know I wanted to try and give her an outfit that suit her and like I couldn't think of anything so like I decided I'd just go with whatever I felt that day and apparently I decided on this- Either way Happy Halloween, Yes I am on time for once in my life- Simple background because I fucking couldn't for the life of me-
