Hi Guys
So, the last time I posted on AO3 was back in June. In June I talked about my plan to make sure I was writing for all of my stories so I could keep going. However, this just led to me having burnout and not wanting to write.
Writing was fun for me and I enjoyed it. I still do. I still like Miraculous and Batman but trying to write for those two fandoms is killing me creatively. I saw a comment come in from a while ago about continuing Son of the Bat. I never approved it because it felt like I was going to have to admit the truth: I'm so tired of writing these two fandoms. I haven't done writing for fun in almost a year and a half. I don't know if I know how to write for fun anymore.
I'm still going to finish writing those stories, but I don't know when. I need to figure out how to love writing again. If anyone sees any of my stories and goes "oh I would like to write that!" feel free to. I'm going to continue them, but I would never want someone to think they can't add to a story.
I'm not done with writing for good. But I do need to remind myself of why I loved it so much and find out what is making it feel like a chore. Thank you all for the best five ish years of my life. I'll see you all the next time I post on AO3.
