There’s only a couple ways a Derringer could be sent to your home.

You are a currently licensed 03 FFL and the Derringer in question is over 50 years old.

It is an antique (100+ years).

It is black powder

Even these instances for older C&Rs have exceptions, depending on your state.

Modern, new manufacture Derringers are centerfire weapons, and are subject to all local firearm and specifically pistol laws.

Define “These Guns”. Depends on where you live. If you live in communist Russia, People’s Republic of New York, Democratic People’s Republic of Massachusetts, or Illinois, and several others, then yes. If you live in one of the other 45 States that recognize the 2nd Amendment, then no. You only need a license to by NFA items.

Suggestions for an iwb kydex holster

I personally prefer Alien Gear. I have had a Cross Breed unit and found it to be not what I wanted. They cannot be easily adjusted, and they cannot be switched between pistols. My Alien Gear is adjustable in both cant, height, and tension, as well as being able to switch between shells for different guns. Check them out online. In my Opinion? No. Not at all. They all have their own particular pros and cons. I have handguns in both steel frame, and polymer. It’s all about what you expect to do with your guns. There are Glocks out there with thousands upon thousands of rounds through them. There are Colt 1911′s from WW2 still up and running. Chose what’s best for you.

Never heard of a Dillanger. Only Dillanger I know was an American gangster. There is a Derringer style pistol. Google that.

My NAA .22 Magnum revolver jams with magnum rounds. The back of the casing bows out into the hammer slot. I was using Armscor .22 WMR 40 GR. JHP. The LR cylinder functions perfectly. Could using another brand of magnum ammunition provide better results?

You should email NAA. I remember when I bought mine that there was one brand in particular that they had problems with. There was a bulletin in the box when I bought it. There is a good chance that the cases of the ammo you are using is weak, and expands too much during firing. That is actually a very dangerous situation, as it could get you hurt and damage the gun. I have never had an issue with mine, but the Reminton and Hornady ammo I use is pretty good stuff. Again- email NAA and ask. They can give you a definitive answer.

Is a cleaner/ lube combo sufficient for cleaning a handgun? Also: oil or grease?

I will add that for some applications, a light coat of food grade silicone spray works wonders. It is super slick, dry, and does not attract or collect dust & dirt. I prefer CRC brand for the dryness and slickness factor. I use it in the striker area of my XD 45 to keep lint from clothing from collecting in the indent at the rear of the slide while carrying concealed. As an aside- this also works for the brass cased ammo in magazine fed guns. Prior to loading, lay the rounds out on a news paper, spray the cases lightly and allow to dry. Wipe excess and load em' up. They will feed and eject smoothly.

Hi I just bought a .22 magnum cobra derringer. If you don't mind can you post some pictures of what the ammo for it looks like because I have searched every place in town and have asked every owner and manager. Nobody has any in stock. I think I may be looking for the wrong thing. Also do you know if it would be able to shoot long rifles? Please keep this anonymous.

Is your new gun specifically chambered in .22Mag? If it is, then no, It cannot shoot .22 Long Rifle ammunition with it. Long Rifle is a Rim-fire Ammunition, and .22 Magnum (WMR) is a Center-fire ammunition. The firing pin or striker will not be set up correctly for both, unless it’s like the very clever NAA revolver designs. Good luck!

I'm trying to come up with a small very very thin concealed weapon to make a kind of holster behind a Samsung Note 3. What would you suggest?

according to my google search the dimensions of that phone are 5.95” x 3.12”

the majority of handguns listed here are smaller than that and should work

That being said I personally suggest either a Seacamp .32 or a Beretta Tomcat .32 they are both solid choices for that size.

I'm not a huge fan of pocket holsters since I have a tendency to lose things in my pocket. The Smith & Wesson m&p shield 9mm or the springfield XDS are both good choices for easily concealable firearms.
