This was the lunch workout for today!! Went alot better than yesterday. I'm sore as hell though my shoulders are shot. Looking forward to tomorrow!!
Did this work out yesterday. It sucked pretty hard!! But it was fun!!
This was an awesome workout!! Loved it alot. The only changes were the 100 box step ups turned into 50 with a 53lb KB. And didn't do the 100 leg levers. And did a 400 by accident for the first round. Finally finished 100 sit ups!! Definitely earned our weekend.
This was my work out for yesterday, I made it to 75 sit ups this time! And did 10 pull ups for the other 25. I'm really liking these workouts, they are alot of fun! My friend signed me up for an onramp class for a crossfit gym on base here so we will see how this goes.
Not a good day
Did front squats today. Went 45, 95, 135, 95, 45 for 10 reps a set. That workout earlier killed my pecs though I didnt feel right doing bench so Ill just chock this up as a rest day. Maybe I'll get up early tomorrow, but we have a bad ass team workout ahead. We will see.
This sucked so hard. I died multiple times! I don't know what the hardest part was but it all sucked. My buddy came up with this he is hands down a beast. I need to get on that level. I couldn't finish the sit ups I got to 50.
Todays workout was pretty damn good. The way i brake things up. One week ill do heavy sets of 5-3 reps. The next ill do high reps with low weight. Skwats 10 set x 10 reps. First time using knee sleeves and i loved them!! They felt great!! Any one have any suggestions on good knee sleeves? Romanian deads 4x 10. Not bad but havent mastered my form. Leg extension 4x 20. These definitely burned. Leg curl 4x 20. Calfs 4x 20. Side contraction ( dont know the actual name of these) left side and right side is one set did 4x 15 Ab twist ( dont know the actual name if these ether) 4x 15 And ab roll out 4x10 these were tough. Any tips and comments are welcome!!

Just finished 50 jumping air squats for today. Decided to take a rest day. Still a good day.
Today’s workouts. The one on the left is a AMRAP we got through 2 rounds and missed the third round by one lap. The back work out sucked though. Haven’t done high bar squats in a long time and it definitely hurt! But over all it was good. Tomorrow is a rest day so I’ll probably do ammo can squats or might try overhead squats at the gym.
My lifts
Its no secret that i love to skwaat. The squat is my favorite of the main 3. I started powerlifting around march 2015. My dad got me into it. He is about 55 and squating over 500, just like my brother who is about 19 now. They are insanely strong! My brother has been doing this for about 3 years and my dad about 2. I know i wont be anywhere near them for a while but my goal to meet before the end of deployment is a 400lb+ squat, 300lb+ bench, and 400lb+ dead. My last recorded maxes are 265 lb squat, 215lb bench, 335lb deadlift in june of 2015. I should be back January February or March. i am pretty damn sure i can make this happen.
My squat challenge
So i started a squat everyday challenge that my buddy has been doing. Im doing low bar and high bar back squats, front squats, box squats, and various air squats when im out on mission and such. Ill definitely write it down with the date so that i can keep track.
Today’s workout of chest and bisepts. Bench is definitely my weakest lift. I think my max is around 235 or so. Tried a new position with my feet though. It helped with my leg drive. Also this is the first time iv actually done front squats before, and i was very happy with my form it felt great!
My work out yesterday. The last rep of the 315lb sucked. I want to get 5 reps before i test for max again. Main lifts i usually go to 10 reps unless otherwise noted. Accessory lifts usually go to 15 reps. Did legs and shoulders. First day of my squat every day challange to myself.
