Sat in the British countryside, 26 miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne, around 17 miles west of Northumberland National Park, lays the small town of Gradian, named after the family that built the first houses and started the first businesses that made the population of the village grow to the small number it has. Rain soaked paths lead up to doorways of ivy covered cottages, trees that lose their leaves each autumn line the banks of the River Coquet running through it flowers bloom along the sides of the narrow roads passing through houses and past businesses.
Peaceful, friendly, idylic. In a town where everyone knows everyone, it’s hard to feel alone surrounded by people who know you and know your life. But that means scandal goes around easily, and as years have passed it has gone around more and more, some gossip true, other’s just rumours. With little to do, with no cinemas, no restaurants, no bars or clubs, the teens and young adults don’t have much more to do than feed the drama, cause problems, wreak havoc.
Secrets are few and far between, but these days, more effort is put into keeping them, than letting them become known to everyone. With the launch of their community Tumblr platform, will it brings everyone together as good friends again, rather than people always going against one another?
