There’s this Rauru charm I bought at a con in 2023, and I put it on my work bag. Between that time and now, I have had at least 3 different Ganondorf charms on the same bag that ended up breaking. I have told myself he will be gone the second he breaks but the only thing he has done in all that time is fall off once. Bad omen I tell ya 😔
REBLOG THIS TO GIVE THE PERSON YOU REBLOGGED THIS FROM A GOLD STAR BECAUSE THEY’VE BEEN STELLAR TODAY AND THEY DESERVE IT ⭐️
do you support the creation of a similar blog for nonblack survivors to tell their stories of being raped only by black people? it is similarly politically inconvenient, I know ive shut up and not told anyone when black guys have been uncomfortably pushy with me in the past because I don't want them to get shot, I'm sure that just gets worse if they actually commit a crime against you. or is it different for some reason?
I don't really think it's different. like i said i don't think it could exist in a vacuum, you would have to be very mindful of things and push back hard against racism when it inevitably rears its head and establish the space as one which is anti-racist. that's part of what i was talking about before, with letting survivors use the language they need to use and then having a conversation about problematic and bigoted and harmful patterns in that language, and working to deconstruct and uproot that evil. because while i understand why bigotry can arise after trauma, it is unacceptable and we must work to rip it out. this is all a sort of winnowing process. i think there are still really complex dynamics.
im struggling with limitations of my language here but its not just "you are two people with the same amount of rights as each other and one mistreats the other" it's a fucking complex and often painful cocktail of intersectionalities that can create horrible and anomalous microcosms of suffering and abuse and trauma
delete your blog bestie it's over
2026 has just been a horrible year to be Black and bear witness to anything on here, huh.
psa to all white people: if you start your conversation with “i’m sorry for being white” “as someone lighter than paper” “white people are terrible i will be the first to tell you” or anything similar i will not ❌ 🙅♂️ be listening to the rest of your sentence. your performative self-flagellation solves nothing and i refuse to validate your racial victim complex 😔 😡
Ganondorf is so ridiculously big as a person. Most people use this for thirsting purposes but I think we should all use this more often to portray just how hard (and funny) it is to exist as a notoriously big person in a world not designed for your size :P
Actually you should factor his largeness into your thirsting because everything is fine and dandy until he strains his back and smacks his head against the headboard and breaks the table not because of sexy times but because of leaning into it too hard. Do you see my vision.

a whole bunch of gazan mutual aid projects and nonprofits. if the decision of which individual fundraiser to give to feels too daunting, or if you just want to help as many people as possible in one go, these are great initiatives to support.
care for gaza - focuses on providing food and essential supplies. donate here or here.
connecting humanity - securing internet access via donations of virtual sim cards (esims). if you can't afford a whole plan yourself, crips for esims is a communal pool that will use your donation to purchase and maintain esims
gaza soup kitchen - provides food, medical care, and classes for children. also has a gofundme
glia gaza medical support initiative - provides medical care through field clinics and tents at hospitals. donations can also be sent through their website.
ele elna elak - provides clean water, food, clothing, and shelter. they also have a gofundme
life for gaza - raising money for the gaza municipality to repair water and waste management infrastructure
taawon - partners with local civil organizations to provide food, water, medical care, shelter, and basic supplies
the sameer project - running various initiatives providing tents, medical care, and necessities. they have their own encampment project focused on sheltering families with children, sick and disabled members, or members in need of perinatal care
islamic relief worldwide's gaza emergency appeal - provides food, water, hygiene kits, medical supplies, and psychological support
baitulmaal - provides a variety of necessities, including food, water, shelter, and medical supplies

I feel like when people discuss Zelda’s character in OOT they just kind of forget that Zelda is Sheik. Like they know Sheik and Zelda are the same but they don’t really factor in Sheik’s dialogue and actions as part of Zelda’s characterization. People act like OOT’s Zelda is bland, but only take into account child Zelda and her appearance at the end of the game.
All those poetic lines Sheik drops tells you more about Zelda and how she views things. “The flow of time is always cruel” not only applies to Links circumstance but also what Zelda has been through in the 7 years Links been gone.
She isn’t just someone who pops up at the end of game. The woman literally became a trained ninja and repeatedly appears to Link to help him.
Just watched Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia and it is a profoundly weird experience to watch an anime that explores a culture and story the way I learned it instead of how it is usually portrayed in pop culture like I was just like whoever worked on this studied the history of this area and the culture inside out.
dejected Zant images are maybe one of my favourite things to come out of the legend of Zelda franchise
and this one because just look at him
They lied to you when they said the war was over. Since then, more than 1,100 people have been killed, including over 200 children and women.
I won't talk today about all the suffering we've endured throughout this war. Instead, I'll share one simple reality of our daily life.
Just to avoid becoming homeless, we must pay $500 every month to rent the small plot of land where our tent stands. That is the price of having a roof over our heads.
And that's only the beginning. It doesn't include food, clothing, medicine, education, or the countless unexpected expenses of a family of seven, including three university students trying to survive one day at a time.

Workers’ share of US economic output has fallen to its lowest level since the government began keeping records in 1947, according to data th
Some points of interest:
Corporate profits are soaring. After taxes, they now take 12.3 percent of national output, far above their postwar average of 7.3 percent.
Adjusted for inflation, hourly wages have risen 3 percent since the end of 2019, Ip noted. Corporate profits over the same period have risen 50 percent.
The Economic Policy Institute calculates that since 1979 the productivity of American workers has grown 90 percent while the pay of the typical worker has grown 33 percent. Had wages tracked output, the average worker would earn $16.40 more an hour today.
The profits are concentrated among the largest corporations. Earnings at the 500 biggest US firms rose 28 percent in the first quarter from a year earlier, the fastest pace since 2021, and their profit margins reached 14.8 percent. The seven technology giants known as the “Magnificent 7”—Apple, Microsoft, Nvidia, Alphabet, Amazon, Meta and Tesla—grew their profits 63 percent.
In the United States, the richest 1 percent of households hold 31.7 percent of all wealth. The bottom half hold barely 2.5 percent.
