open: everyone location: coffee shop
The rush had finally died down. Freddie let out a slow breath before taking a drink of water as his coworker told him they were heading out for the day. It would probably stay quiet until closing, leaving him alone for the rest of the shift. Figuring he might as well make the most of the downtime, he decided to get a head start on cleaning. The shop wasn't particularly messy, but taking care of it now would make the rest of the night a lot easier.
He grabbed a rag and started wiping down the tables, quietly humming along to the music drifting through the café. The chime above the door rang, announcing a customer. He finished wiping the table in front of him, wanting to leave a few clean ones available in case they decided to stay and eat. "I'll be right with you," he called, setting the rag aside before slipping behind the counter with an easy smile. "What can I get for you today?" he asked.
