ᴡᴀʀʀᴇɴ‌:

                                WHEN    WARREN   HAD   FIRST   HEARD       of   another   maximoff   joining   the   school,   he’d   been        riddled   with   dread.   a     t w i t c h      in   his   feathers   had   him    BEGGING   to   take   off   into   the   sunset   there     &&      then.   but   perhaps   a   kick   could   be   had   out   of   earning   another      light - hearted   rival.    

 introductions   came   around   all   too   soon      &&      the   archangel   had   felt   a       PLEASANT   SURPRISE       to   the   calmer   demeanour   of   the   maximoff    twin.    but   warren   would      not   let   his   guard   down     ━━   lest   she   be       PLAYING   INNOCENT,       or   false   courtesy   upon   her   first   time   being   there.    so,   the   winged   mutant   would   do   as   he       ALWAYS   DID   ;    KEEP   HIS   DISTANCE.    

                             nevertheless,     EVEN   WITHIN    A   MANSION,     the   archangel   could   only   avoid      people   for   so   long.    a   quiet   spot   he   had   claimed   within   the   building   now   held   TWO   occupants.    simple   up - nods   were   given   in   greeting   as   he   spoke.      ❛      if    your   brother   has   sent   you   in   here   to   wind   me   up,    you   can   do   a    quick   u - turn     right   now,   missy.      ❜

               It  wasn’t  exactly  Wanda’s  first  pick  to  be  placed  in  the  same  school  as  her  twin.  As  she’d  imagined  he’d  grown  a  reputation  for  himself  which  she  knew  would  have  many  people  attaching  assumptions  onto  her  own  personality.  But  despite  being  twins,  the  two  were  rather  different.  

She  didn’t  feel  a  need  to  portray  herself  as  what  others  wanted  to  see  her  as,  she  was  more  of  the  mindset  that  if  others  weren’t  a  fan  of  her,  then  she  wouldn’t  be  a  fan of  them,  simple  philosophy.  Her  mutation,  however,  made  this  simple  philosophy  much more  complex,  as  she  felt  empathic  not  by  choice  but  by  her  m u t a t i o n.  Sometimes she’d  find  herself  digging  much  deeper  than  others  might  like.  That  itself,  was  one  of  her  reasons  for  coming  to  the  Mansion,  to  have  more  control  over  her  powers,  so  she  could  properly  interact  with  the  rest  of  society  without  them  fearing  her. 

Stumbling  upon  the  grumpy  angel  she’d  heard  so  much  about,  she  could  tell  right  away that  this  act  was  no  doubt  why  her  brother  enjoyed  trying  to  pester  with  him.  Wanda  didn’t  enjoy  the  attitude,  having  no  intent  to  back  down.  Lowering  the  book  in  her  hand,  other  slowly  moving  to  her  hip  as  she  retorted.  ❝   Last  time  I  checked  this  was  a  free country,  and  I  don’t  take  orders  from  my  brother.....mister.  ❞  her  focus  seemed  to  shift, the  more  she  was  around  him,  unable  to  properly  finish  her  thought. 

There  was  something  else.  A  voice.  It  was  a  soft  inaudible  whisper.  Wandas  hands lowered  to  her  sides,  taking  another  step  closer  to  the  angel,  the  voice  became  stronger as  her  eyes  focused  on  the  blonde,  a  glimmer  of  concern  in  her  eyes ❝   How  often  do  you  hear  these  voices...?  ❞
