Who do you think is Batman and Robin between Herc and Carv?

Also I just recently finished the show and it was loaded asf.Think I could spend the rest of my life talking about this show.Definitely in my top 2(after The Shield I’ll prob get jumped for this but I’m too attached to that show).Favorite character is definitely Carver I love his character development.Way back when I was watching s1 and 2,I always used to lump Herc and Carv together since they were the same person to me.Just two knucklehead cops who are the archetype of bad/dumb cop.I’ve thought a lot about how they operate when they aren’t together.You see Carver doing better when he’s not with Herc while with Herc,you see him getting worse when he’s not with Carver.Definitely shows that one of them needed the other more than the other.It was beautifully written like everything else this show has written.

I love how subtle they made Rawls being gay(or bi).It’s a split second frame that no one realizes.All the pieces really do fit in The Wire.Happy Pride to him,Omar and Kima.

while there are objectively “worse” characters, my least favorite character on the wire is undoubtedly scott templeton. that man pisses me off every time with his damn quotes. like what jimmy did that season is deplorable but however misguided and disrespectful he was (at the very least) doing it for the greater good. scott is just lying to score points with the paper like just write your own fiction novel at this point.

THORSON: Not really sure what the birds represent to the writers, but I love the reference here. I love the fact that it’s one of the slender human moments that we catch: Marlo, who clearly cares for the birds. Occasionally, we get to see him smile, but this is the most human we ever get to see him. I know there have been other references with pigeons and coops, like [in] Ghost Dog: Way of the Samurai, there was such a character, and certainly [in] On The Waterfront. It’s a side of his character that we think is very special.
