Ivy nodded. “ Probably saving all the money for prom, at least I hope so ‘cause if they use the vintage excuse for that too… “ The redhead added, noticing Cooper spiking the fruit punch in the back. “ He is, but he’s fun isn’t he? “ Ivy subtly pointed at the boy for Sadie to see. “ She assured me it wasn’t serious, but you never know in this shitty town, right? “
“If you consider being a basic wannabe with no empathy for anyone but himself fun, then yea, I suppose he is. He’s hilarious.” Sadie rolled her eyes in annoyance, unimpressed with Cooper spiking the punch. “And he’s so original too. Thanks for pointing that out, Princess Ivy.” A heavy sigh escaped from her lips. Part of her felt like prying into Ivy’s business was a mistake, but the story was so messed up that it was hard for her not to have an opinion. “Doesn’t matter, because it’s fucked up either way. Who would do that to their own sister? Like, that’s some soap opera level of betrayal right there,” she countered, knitting her brows into a frown. “I really don’t get how that’s okay to you. Do you have like, no self-respect whatsoever?”
