@jzevi
there had been A LOT that was missed on his part. weeks had passed, time slipping through his fingers before he could even comprehend it fast enough to grasp and try to hold on - too much had happened. he still isn’t entirely sure of everything that had went on. but he had heard enough. had even seen blips of quick, short second visions in his sleep for days that were like little puzzle pieces waiting to be put together -- but gunner was EXHAUSTED. too tired to try and do that yet. but he is also relieved. because the pain had finally subsided, ebbing away to give him a short sense of relief until the next vision attempted to break through the barrier in his mind. mentally, he can’t even fathom doing much of anything right now -- but physically he feels the need to move. to get up from the bed he had been trapped in and stretch his limbs. maybe w a l k for a bit. everything aches; but at least it’s not his damn head this time. a hand comes to sift through tousled pink hair, ruffling up the mess there even more as tired and baggy eyes peer down the hallway of the host’s house. a familiar form catches his gaze, and he notes that they are heading directly his way -- oddly enough, it was the EXACT person gunner had been thinking about looking for. “what time is it?” he grumbles out immediately, hand rubbing at the back of his neck as he fixes zev with a look; knowing the questions the other already had but not falling into them just yet.
