The hug came as a bit of a surprise, but Bucky welcomed it, wrapping his arms around the blonde and letting out a small sigh of relief in knowing that she was okay. He nodded a bit, smiling at her when she pulled away. âIâm okay, yeah. A bit in shock, but okay. That talking tree is a first for me,â he said with a grin. âToday was how I expected things to go. Iâm just glad that no one got hurt.â He admittedly had figured all sorts of things would go wrong when they got here. The first two weeks had been a bit of a tease in that sense. He wasnât sure which was more jarring today, though; the aliens, or the planet.Â
She nodded, relief rushing through her knowing he was okay. She snuck a quick glance at the tree he spoke of and tried not to laugh at the words. âItâs odd to say the least.â She responded. âIâm so happy youâre all okay..â She replied, taking a deep breath and looked around. âEveryone seems fine for the most part.â
The tone this woman was taking with her was interesting and she didnât love it. âI donât question whether youâre old enough to make choices for yourself,â Gamora countered, her voice polite. âI question adults who take advantage of those with strength and ability. Iâm sure you know everyone around us is older than you are,â she pointed out, though it was clear. She didnât want to see her get hurt, whether in an effort to prove herself and her worth, or because she was put in a situation where there was no other option. âWhy did you come?â
The words spoken by the older woman rather impressed Gwen. She agreed and respected the sentiment Gamora had and was trying to convey. Though it was noted how kind the other was being, Gwen still had a guard up though trying to remain civil for the sake of maintaining their alliance with these foreign people. âI respect where you come from, and trust me Iâm very aware of the age gaps.â At the question of why Gwen came, She looked around their surroundings and saw her team. âMany of these people-â She paused for a moment, glancing at Tony Stark, to Peter Parker and the rest of the avengers. â-theyâre important to me., Theyâre my team, If I could rescue them and help keep them safe, thatâs what Iâll do. What about you? What makes you want to stick with those guys?â She asked, motioning to Drax and Rocket getting into something they probably shouldnât.
Gwenâs biggest goal in this mission is to make sure her friends were alive and to keep them safe. One of those people happened to be an X-Men she had met while the process of Project New-Home. So once everyone had been reunited and were checking in on each other. Gwen scanned the surroundings before spotting the girl and making a beeline.
âRogue!â She called out, pulling her friend into a big hug and knowing theyâd both be safe considering Gwen was in her full Spider-Woman gear. She hugged her friend tightly before letting go, removing her helmet (From her super cool Tony Stark-made suit that removes itself like his), and checks over her. âAre you okay? Gosh, We didnât know what was going on and all of you were just missing- I was freaking out.â
Thor smiled at the familiar face as he approached her. âLady Stacy.â He greeted with a little bow of his head. âIâm glad to see you well, did Stark drag you all the way to this planet because your work with his company?â He asked curiously. âNow that I think about it, last time we saw each other was when your boss created a killer robot that wanted to destroy Earth⊠Simpler times huh?â He asked and sighed heavily. âI uh⊠I apologize, that⊠was a horrible battle and Earthâs people suffered a great deal⊠Asgardian humor I guess⊠We were raised warriors and battles were something we⊠were too arrogant to normalizeâŠâ But he was so tired of fighting, he never thought he would feel that way.
If he could go back to before being exile and tell his younger self that one day he wouldnât see battle at this opportunity to gain his father approval and glory, he was sure his younger version would laugh at him and then attack him thinking he was an impostor but his very soul weighted heavily.
âHowâs uh⊠school?â He asked to change subject. @gw3nstacyâ
âSir Thorâ She remarked back at the sight of the familiar face. Gwen always thought highly of the God of Thunder since her first encounter with him back to what felt like eons ago. At his questions for her, a smirk appeared on her face. âIâm actually of age and an Avenger now. Though Tony told me about the mission, I volunteered on my own. The Avengers team has grown to be family to me. I wouldnât sit back and not try to help.â As he spoke of Ultron, she realized how much he had missed the past few years, and noticed how tired he seemed as he started to stumble over his own words. Â
âThor, you donât need to apologize to me. I think itâs normal to use Dark Humor as a coping mechanism on earth as much as it is Asgard.â She assured him. She could tell something was off with him, but she wasnât sure if it was the stressful situation they were in, or more. Nonetheless, she went on with his question. ââIâve graduation from Highs School.â She tells him. âLots has happend since weâve seen each other last. Iâm not the same young girl you remember from Stark Tower anymore.â
After the commotion, Bucky made an effort to set his eyes on everyone he cared about even a little. If anyone was hurt or missing, heâd do everything in his power to make sure they were found and okay. When he spotted Gwen, he made his way over to her. He hadnât had a chance to say much to her since sheâd arrived, and he admittedly hadnât gotten to know her too well on Earth, but sheâd grown on him rather quickly. She was a nice kid, and it kind of bummed him out that she was stuck here now, too. âHey, are you okay?â he asked, checking in with her. @gw3nstacyâ
âBucky!â She breathed out with relief and rushed to hug the man. She had a soft spot for James Barnes, sheâll admit. Though, he understandably was rough around the edges, she small amount of genuine time she wouldâve spent with him she grew fond of him. âIâm fine-Are you?â She asked as she released her embrace to look at him âHow crazy has it been so far?â
Gwen was internally freaking out. Her chill externally there. She wasnât going to show weakness especially volunteering for the job she had. But internally, she was stressed. This planet was out to kill all of them, they didnât know how they were going to leave and she wasnât sure if she could trust all of these new people showing up. She looked over and saw Tony finally walking away from a group of people, probably discussing how the hell they were going to leave the planet when he sat down near her. She looked at her boots before looking back up at her former boss. âCan we trust these people?â She asked him, gently.
She knew the day would come where she would meet Loki Odinson. What she didnât expect was for it to be today trying to safe people she considered Allies, Friends and even Family. Loki, however, was none of those things to her. It was nice to see his brother, Thor, given their circumstances. Gwen hadnât seen the God of Thunder in Quite some time but always thought of him fondly. Loki was a totally different story. The young woman lost so much The Battle of New York. That was something she wasnât sure she could forgive them for.Â
Yet, here she was. standing merely a few feet from them. While the others surrounding them were in deep discussion of their future plans, she spoke to the God. âMy father was a police officer in The Battle of New York.â She spoke in hopes to catch their attention, unsure to herself as to why knowing the tall, dark haired figure would have no care. âThat was the last day I saw him. Such a tragic day that was, wasnât it?â
Just because Laura had lost his enhanced senses didnât mean she lost the memory of what she had learned, there was no point in her drinking beyond for enjoyment of the taste, she healed too fast and booze was not cheap for her to consume enough of it to overpower her healing but currently her healing factor was gone which meant she could get drunk. People were still gathered discussing what they needed to do, itâs not that Laura was not helpful, is just that she already knew what they needed to do and any sane person would agree so this whole sitting around and discussing things just seemed like a huge waste of time for her. So Laura sneaked into the tent she had smelled the booze from and after a couple of minutes of looking around she found the bottle and then sneaked out to find a seat away from the tent she had stolen the booze from.
She had made almost half her way through the bottle and she felt⊠tingly, someone approached and Laura smiled. âYou know this is not so bad, I can see why people like getting drunk.â
Gwen needed a break from this whole conversation of how they were going to get out of there. Too many people were involved, nobody would want to hear her theories out just from her age and her headache was growing something fierce. When she noticed Laura stumbling around with the bottle, she was confused nobody else had seen her but quickly approached to her see what was going on. She couldnât help but be amused when she realized the woman was drunk, but she knew action needed to be taken so nobody paid much more attention to her. âHow about we go this way.â She motioned for other woman to follow her, away from the big crowd of people. From the decent amount of time theyâve known each other, Gwen has taught herself to respect Lauraâs space, so she decided to just have the tipsy person follow her would be better than physically trying to help guide her.
Gamora was trying not to be judgmental, but she really couldnât think of a good reason for there to be such young humans on Orbulite, especially when it seemed like it was quite an experimental venture. It brought her concern more than anything to see such a young woman here. She was sure she wasnât defenseless, but that didnât mean she should be here. Gamora went to sit near the blonde. There was a lot of information to gather and even more people to meet; so long as they were stuck here, she might as well do just that. âYou seem awfully young to be on a strange planet in space. Did you volunteer to come here?â @gw3nstacyâÂ
Gwen wasnât sure what to make of the strangers she just met. Was that a....Racoon? A Talking Racoon? What type of space science do these people have? Or was it an Alien? She didnât know-and she wasnât sure if she thought it was cool or if it freaked her out. She noticed the only woman of the group staring at her. One woman. Typical. The green complexioned woman was approaching her, and at the question Gwen received, She nodded. âI did volunteer, yes. Iâm Eighteen years old. I know itâs young but where we come from, weâre viewed as old enough to make those choices for ourselves.â Her eyebrow at the woman.Â

Brief Background:
Gwen Stacy was Born and raised in Queens, NYC. The girl had a happy life until her father, an NYPD Officer was killed in The Battle of New York. At the age of 15, due to her academic performance and a relief program for those who lost family in 2012 created by Tony Stark, Gwen was offered an internship at Stark Industries. While on her way home one day, she was bitten by a spider. She didnât think much of it and tried to treat bite like normal, not realizing the magnitude of what that bite did to her life. Being so close to Tony Starkâs resources, Gwen attempted to figure out what had happened to her on her own to be caught by Tony himself. The man insisted he knew why she was getting into his research to which she told him everything. Ever since heâs had her under his wing and she eventually joined the Avengers.
QUESTIONNAIRE.
How is your character taking the unilateral decision to leave earth?
Gwen was very hesitant about leaving earth at first. Her mother and three brothers would be left behind if she went. However, given the circumstances they were under, She knew it would be in the best interest of her family.
Is your character dealing well with the prospect of life on a new planet? Are they scared? Concerned? Excited?
Though slightly scared of the unknown sheâs going into, Gwen is rather curious to explore a new world.
Is your character cooperating with the other groups, or fighting against these tentative new alliances?
Gwenâs main goal is to keep her team and current alliances safe and as long as anyone new they meet doesnât interfere with that, sheâs fine with them.
For those who are unaware of PROJECT NEW HOME; Does your character realize theyâre stuck on Orbulite? Are they making plans on trying to leave?
Gwenâs honestly just wanting to rescue the ones she already presumed stuck on the planet. Thatâs her main priority
For those who are part of PROJECT NEW HOME; Is your character optimistic that their relocation will work out as intended?
Sheâs trying to be.
If your character volunteered to be part of the first two groups to Orbulite, or the rescue group sent after them, why?
Though Gwen still has family on earth, The Avengers are people who have truly made her fell at home. Theyâre family to her, too. And sheâs not going to leave them or anyone else to die if she can help it.
ANYTHING ELSE?
Ugh sheâs so Rough Draftish right now Iâll add things here later
