My name is Avery I am me. I've been abused (emotionally, physically, and sexually) I've been raped and molested (more than once) I've been rejected. I've been kidnapped. I've been homeless (lived in a car and shelters) I've been hurt...and I've hurt others. I've had my heart broken SEVERAL times; including a few weeks ago! I've been married & divorced (IT WAS MY FAULT). I was raised in the foster care system. I've been fatherless and motherless. I've been bankrupt and had multiple judgments. I've attempted suicide 3 times. (Thank God I failed!) I've struggled with low self-esteem and self-loathing. I've been teased and bullied. I've struggled with depression and anger management issues. I've made MANY mistakes and failed MANY times. But... I am God's child. I am educated and I am intelligent. I am a self-published author. I am a father who takes care of his children! I am a professor, professional development professional & more! I am FORGIVEN. I am healed. I am a CHANGED man! I am a living organ donor; a super hero (kidney donor) I am still standing!
