Ah right he should have called him perhaps ? But he had read that surprises were fun in relationships — maybe ? He wasn’t sure he was doing this right .

He didn’t mention the spilled drink he’s been there before —

“Ah yes I do.. here .” He fished it out of the haphazard binder he on him— don’t mind the little doodles on the edges .

“So just so we’re all on the same page here ya know I believe we agreed to joint custody for this soul.. they come down do some shows and then go back up ..”

Peter cooed, taking the list from the devil's hands. He would gingerly open it, as if the paper itself was a sacred document with time aging it before his very fingers. He couldn't help the soft smile creasing his lips at the scattering duck drawings across the borders of the paper.

"Ah, I see we do.. Let me just-" He sets the paper down on his podium, right beside the guestbook. Flipping through pages, Peter's able to locate the contender in question.

"Name's still on my list here as well. I'll locate the paperwork if necessary?"

gold eyes blink as a small rumble radiates from his throat as if he were purring as the hand forces him to focus his attention back on Peter. he may have disassociated just a little so whatever was said went through one ear and out the other..

but instead of pulling away, he presses his chin against the smaller hand, forcing Peter to hold him instead.

"You were distracted~."

He says in a soft, velvety tone to the rockstar. Light blue eyes half lidded, full of adoration to the sight before him. A soft exhale to a hum escapes him as he listens to the vibrating in the other's throat- like music to his very own ears. Peter kept his hand right where it was, holding Adam like a cherished jewel.

"You have such pretty eyes you know? I find myself rather lost in them quite often.."

that     seems     to     get     a     very     surprised     look     out     of     him.     maybe     even     the     faintest     hint     of     a     golden     blush.     wings     seem     shuffle     behind     him     as     he     follows     Peter.

"     uh,     yeah     sure.     i'm     fuckin'     down.     "     though     he     can't     help     but     narrow     his     eyes     a     bit,     like     he     couldn't     believe     him.     however,     this     was     Heaven.     lying     wasn't     such     an     easy     task     amongst     Heavenborn     especially.

"     ..     'could     always     sit     at     the     gate     with     you     too..     's     no     problem.     not     like     i     do     much     up     here     till     we...     "     he     gets     quiet     before     shaking     his     head.     "     nevermind..     just..     lets     get     the     damn     coffee.     "

"I'll be looking forward to hearing what you have in store~." He'd flash a sweet smile to the general, his wings fluffing up behind him. A lean forward, hand pressed to his cheek to hold his head up— Peter paid nothing but his UPMOST attention to Adam before him.

"I'd like that. It can get incredibly lonely at the gate when there's no one to greet.." Nervously laughing, Peter dismissed any sort of somber feeling from deep within. Now wasn't the time.

"Of course! Follow me? It's not too terribly far from here!"

Heaven had erased him, the good book had stripped his name, yet there he was...an unwanted spectre. Or....more accurately, a sinner that used to be one of them.

Adam....now a horrifying sinner. A demon of extreme power and now a twisted mockery of what he used to be. Jagged teeth, razor-sharp claws, and wearing metalhead clothes. Huge horns jammed into his head and his eyes glowed with darkness.

" Hey Pete. Did you miss me."

Saint Peter never expected who would show up at God’s gates— it wasn’t something one could really expect. He had greeted countless souls over timeless millennia. Always with a cheerful demeanor and a smile on his face! Well—

Until he arrived.

As Peter peeked up from the guestbook from the sound of a hauntingly too familiar voice, he was met with an even more gravely sight. He shut the tome quickly, his eyes wide and skin paled.

“You—… You aren’t supposed to be here.”

“… Wanna go grab a coffee—?”

He’d offer, this once. Despite his, well, feelings towards Adam, the other seemed to need the company.

“You look like you might need a pick me up.”

gold     eyes     seem     to     watch     him     carefully.     head     tilting     like     a     confused     puppy.     Peter     was     inviting...     him?     for     coffee?     he     huffs     a     little     at     the     idea     but     he     was     bored     and     alone     and     wanted     someone     to     bug     and     the     other     just     offered     himself     up     so     easily.

"     mmm...     fine,     i     could     go     for     some     caffeine.     i     GUESS...     "

“Fantastic!”

Peter would clap his hands together cheerfully. His own aquamarines focused on topaz before him— a soft, gentle smile on his face.

“Then after, you can show me the latest songs you’re working on~. It’s been slow today at the gate, so I have time today.”

He'd set the cup down beside him, before manifesting a handkerchief to clean up the spill. How embarrassing! Peter laughed off the notion, best to before it's mentioned..

It's not long before he pops back up, flipping through pages absentmindedly. He's flustered, to say the least. You can't just spring up on him, Lucifer!

"List.. list… Oh, you have the list-!!"

He shuts the book quickly, hand clawing over the edges.

"Yeah, we can… we can go over that- haha.."

Luci stares long distance boyfriend style at St. Peter — memory from cats somehow playing in the background .

It's already been a day! It isn't even NOON yet! Cue the choir boy pouring himself a very needed cup of tea before-

Oh. Oh NO.

The sight of the King of Hell himself causes the tea to overfill the cup, and spill onto the floor before him. How did- How did he even get here?

"Sam--... Lucifer... to uhm, what do I owe the pleasure?"

I hope next time you see Abel that you tell him his dad deserved what he got.

"..." Those baby blues narrow into a GLARE, it's uncharacteristic of the Saint. His posture straightens, shoulders rolled back. The NERVE of some people.

"I will be doing no such thing. Abel happens to be a very good friend of mine."

So it's Adam's fault he was murdered, his body probably hacked to pieces and fed to monsters? Lucifer's daughter proudly bragging about what she did. You then agree with her....Adam deserved to die.

"Adam could never see the errors of his ways. It's sad, but unfortunately true. No one deserves to die in Heaven-- however... sometimes, there's people you just can't get through to. Adam was one of those kinds of people.

He died doing what he loved, trying to make himself seem better than everyone else. If he would have lived, surely he would have fallen by now. Trying to be worshipped like Father Himself.. how unsaintly."

"As the council, the council didn't decide anything. Please don't make Saint Peter cry and panic, he doesn't stop."

But my anxiety is real! Michael, don't undermine me please-.."

The council decided Adam wasn't worth keeping around so he was replaced with Sir Pentious. If you open up your books you'll see Adam's name was erased too. Heaven turned it's back on him and they're supporting his killers.

"The council had nothing to do with Adam's passing- that was his own downfall.."

He would open the guestbook once more, to the first few pages. Weirdly enough, Adam's name wasn't there anymore. The name that sat just below Abel's, a completely blank slate; as if, something WERE to be there.

"This.. This must be a mistake."

Oh really? Where's the grief? All his posters are gone. His homes are going to be destroyed. How is this sorrow when Heaven is erasing him?

And you're probably excited too that he's dead.

“That’s not up to me, that’s up to the council’s decision. I’m sure that Heaven’s Best knows what they’re doing.”

Phew—!! He’s held his breath a WHILE now! Deep exhale, straightening his shoulders. Just who did this somebody think they were?

“Adam and I might not have seen eye-to-eye, especially with… such provocative display. But I didn’t wish him dead!”

Hey Peter, how's Heaven doing now that Adam's dead? Looks like everyone's really happy he's gone.

The color drains from his face, fingers clenching his ‘guestbook’ so close for comfort. He practically cowers at the podium.

“Adam’s death was a TRAGEDY none of us were ever expecting.. please don’t talk so lightly of the dead.”

"Think of like, the bachelor--except the losers get fucking executed, bruh! Get me a producer, we're doing this shit!"

“I asked you if you wanted coffee— where did that even come from?”

"It's the pitch for the Goetia reality show I'm about to get greenlit. Doy! Get me a venti iced caramel macchiato with almond milk, extra ice, caramel drizzle divided equally on the bottom and top of the foam, 3 pumps of mocha syrup, 2 pumps of toffee nut syrup, a sprinkle of cinnamon on top, served in a grande cup with a separate cup of ice on the side!"
