Interesting "decoration" elements that can be found in the base mostly thanks to our companions.
I hope I saw everything (and did not miss anything)
"Earth pendant", recovered by Aloy at the end of Zero Dawn, in the hand of Elisabet Sobeck.
Put there by Aloy.
Spear -made by Rost for Aloy- ; "wood and metal bound with cable and adorned with Nora-style decorations. Collected by Varl."
Fashav's Token ; "A Tenakth dagger that once belonged to Marshal Fashav. It serves as proof of right of passage into the Tenakth Clan Lands. Collected by Varl"
Ember ; "A holographic device recovered from the ruins of Las Vegas. Collected by Erend."
Available after getting Poseidon (I think).
Varl's focus ; "A Focus that once belonged to Varl, recovered from Cauldron GEMINI. Collected by Zo."
Available after Gemini.
Slitherfang fang ; "A piece of Regalla's Slitherfang that was defeated in the Arena. Collected by Kotallo."
Recovered after "The Kulrut" mission if I'm correct.
Beth & Alva don't recover any item to put it in Aloy's room.
Metal Flower ; "A metal flower designed by Faro Automated Solutions. Vulnerable to strikes by spear equiped with Vine Cutter Software module."
I think we got it after getting Demeter. Don't know who took it in, would bet on Aloy but have no certainty.
Flower ; "A small bloom gathered from an old battlefield and replanted with care. Collected by Talanah."
Obtained after Talanah's passage at the base (even if we never see her there T.T)
Studious Vuadis' scroll ; "A scroll once belonging to a certain Sun-Priest. Collected by Varl."
Bulwark fragment ; "Cracked granite, once part of a larger boulder. Collected by Kotallo."
(HOW ? Idk ! Maybe thanks to his (very) strong back (͡ ͡° ヮ ͡͡°) )
Available after getting Aether if I'm correct.
Regalla's horn ; "A war horn used by Regalla's army before the assault on the Memorial Grove. Collected by Kotallo."
Recovered after defeating Regalla.
Grimhorn control core ; "A control core from an Apex Grimhorn. Collected by Zo."
Obtained after helping Zo to heal the Land-gods.
Utaru figure ; "Bundles of woven leaves shapred to resemble a Plowhorn. Collected by Zo."
Scorcher heart ; "A machine heart ripped from the carcass of a Scorcher. Collected by Kotallo."
Available after helping Kotallo in "what was lost" quest.
Asera's Armor Fragment ; "A piece of Asera's armor. Collected by Erend."
Available if you completed Erend quest "First Forge".
Archives Room (Alva's spot)
Thebes Artifact ; "An artifact recovered from Ted Faro's bunker. Collected by Alva."
Available after bringing back clearance Omega.
Far Zenith Shuttle ; "A holographic replica of a Far Zenith shuttle. Collected by Varl."
Sylens' lantern ; "A data storage device that once contained HADES. Collected by Varl."
Weapon fragment ; "a burnt-out core from a prototype weapon. Collected by Aloy."
Recovered after the first visit to Zenith laboratory.
Woman reading a letter ; "A holographic replica of a painting from Tilda's mansion. Collected by Tilda."
Available after Tilda's arrival. Stays even "after".
Weaponized Prothetic Arm ; "A prosthesis that blends Old World technology with Tenakth tenacity. Built by Kotallo to use as a weapon."
Available after defeating Regalla if I'm correct.
Won't be there anymore once he leaves.
Don't know if it can be considered as decoration, but Beth got an Elisabet Sobeck hologram in her room.
Now's time for a crucial question (or not, but I asked it to myself and I like to share...)
Soooo... Who likes to "decorate" the most ?
(Except for Zo that grant us many plants all around ♥).
Total count if I'm correct : Alva, Talanah, Beth and Tilda brought back 1 "item" each, Erend brought 2, Zo and Aloy 3, Kotallo 4 (five if you count his arm but it does not stay), and Varl 5.
So : Varl was the most invested in item decoration, we'll miss you Friend.
