NO DRAMA PLEASE Since it is one of the things that causes my anxiety to spike I am making this a hard rule. Whilst I am willing to read callout posts please understand if I do not reblog them as this is just a place for me to try to relax and have fun! CANON DIVERGENT HEAVY Like it says on the tin my Hifumi's portrayal is based on the concept of her being protagonist of persona 5/royal. Her background still remains true to the events of the game however they diverge heavily with regards to her mother, who has a palace and was the trigger for Hifumi's Awakening her persona Clytie. From there the first heart changed was that of her mother's and later on Madarame's for the sake of her friend Yusuke. These situations occurred months before the beginning of the game and due to the fall out true to Ren/Akira, Hifumi transferred to Shujin in time for the Kamoshida arc.

PRIVATE & SELECTIVE Pretty much what it says but this is a private/selective blog! As such I’ll be rping more or less with mutuals that I am following/ who follow me back for my own comfort. I am open to crossovers if it is a series that I am aware of or if you have a genshin verse to interact with! Additionally I am pretty down with making specific game verses for certain interactions if you want to plot something out! 

RELATIONSHIPS/SHIPPING As Hifumi is a teenager [ 16-17] I will not be shipping with any characters that are not within her age range period. While chemistry is important I LOVE plotting out pre-established ships through these discussions with muns if we are both on the same page! Additionally, Hifumi is a multiship and all ships, unless discussed with the muns involved, will be treated as individual verses. I very much WELCOME discussing the idea of potential ships!!

REPLIES I do most if not all my rps in paragraph format, though I don’t mind one liners by any means, and like to try to match my partner’s replies lengths. I don't particularly mind how long their replies are generally speaking so long as they aren’t too short. Otherwise don’t feel like you have to match my lengths! Sometimes it may take me sometime to produce a reply but, you will get one! I just ask for a bit of patience.

Her father was kind, he loved her as she remembered he had, their company was helping not hurting others and there was no sign of Sugimura in her life. It should have been everything she wanted and at a glance perhaps it was. But the truth was it wasn't. This was a choice made for her. She had no say in the creation of this reality. She did not get to decide if her scars stayed or went. Someone else chose for her and in that choice they stole her voice from her, again. Not only that they stole memories of the most important person from her. They wrote over the pains and the joys she had with Hifumi. They decided both girls realities for them!! As if they were just dolls!! No more! They didn't deserve that!! They deserved to live their own lives!! "Hifumi." She reaches for Hifumi's hand but stops. Instead turning to offer it for Hifumi to decide if she will forgive Haru and take her hand. "I'm so sorry. I promise from here on, no matter what reality or future we may find ourselves in, I will find you. You won't be alone and we can both be free. I swear to you..." Screaming raw tends to have that effect on ones throat. But it's more than that, it has always been more than that. Hifumi felt flayed, as if each layer of her was shreded, the skin, the sinew, tendons and all wrapped up into mesh nerves barling clinging to bone. None of it felt like it existed where it should. The act of simply standing feels exhausting. Her body feels as if it was swaying in the wind.

The don't stand within the Metaverse anymore. They stand outside, somewhere, someplace that doesn't matter as much as it should. Sea foam eyes remain affixed to the only one that matters, the rest fade away. As if they were never there at all.

"...." A puff of air leaves her when Hifumi opens her mouth. The girl shuts her eyes but still she feels her step closer, hears how Haru's voice grows louder as the distance closes. Tiamat presses a gentle gaze upon her beloved abyss and soothes the writhing emotions of the soul. Mother beast soothing away the guilt, the shame and fear that comes from such precious words. Such loyal oaths.

Because she would die if they weren't anything but true. Because self doubt knows she will die of tomorrow comes and this is all gone. The fight, the screaming and defeat.

"....I" To speak is to hurt, to make vocal cords tremble beneathe the strain. But, Hifumi pushes onwards. "I...."

A stagger step, one then two brings the former Venus of Shoji before the other girl before she forgoes her hand and rests her head against Haru's shoulder. Her arms trembling, healed wounds still taxing upon her body as she wraps them around Haru.

Stuff making me think about Hifumi and i just. Third term literally is Hifumi ripping a part at the seams, its her being put back into a mold she broke herself out of, overcoming the thoughts that she should have died instead of saved herself, Mitsuyo's treeasure and being given a blade again. It's the do over that MARUKI helped her overcome only to be given a chance to second guess herself. It's trying to stay the course but being face with how the people she loves are happy without her and being left with dregs and being expected to have the strenght again to resist.

Honestly i kinda like the concept of hifumi leanig into aesthetics like taekemi or visual kei by time she gets to college and just explore around with how she wants to be percieved before settling on a more traditional aesthetic when shes a shadow ops. Like genuinely its powerful being able to reclaim something that someone has ruined for you and its also a spiteful element in that she grows into the type of woman Mitsuyo wished she could have been and knowing the child you groomed to be your second life thrives in a way you never will.

Reworking the girl and I think Hifumi's metavese outfit looking greek as opposed to a mermaid kinda is nice to contrast how regular persona outside of of the metaverse but also being a twist on her ex status of Venus of Shogi and also calling back to p3 since....gestures to her everything.

Also there's the thought of her using her sleeves for movement and jumping shadows.
