Growing up in Compton at Symone’s age there was nothing but violence and crime, she was 1 of 5 kids and was the youngest one. she followed behind her siblings path of destruction creating trouble wherever she went, she used to rob her neighbors with her brothers taking their expensive jewelry and selling it on the streets the next day eventually landing her in juvenile at the age of 15 and the county when she turned 18. When she served her time she moved to Vegas at 24 for a new beginning she was doing good at first but her old habits returned after she opened her jewelry business and her brothers convinced her to allow them to run an illegal business through her store.

Legend didn’t grow up in the best of circumstances in the streets of Harlem, New York. Not too many people knew this but after his dad was incarcerated, who he never knew. It was just him and his mom. His grand parents weren’t much of any help to his mom beside of crack addiction and so when she overdosed, it was only him. From the time he was five he had been bounced around from foster care to foster care. He was mistreated, starved and beaten in every single home. Legend eventually mustered up enough to courage to finally ran away when he was eleven. He’d rather survive on his own then be subjected to those conditions; especially when the people who claimed to care didn’t give two shits about him. Lucky enough the leader of one of neighborhood gangs, Mugga, found him rummaging through the trash cans for something to eat and instantly took him under his wing. He fed him, clothed him and even let him move in. Legend worked as one of Mugga’s look out boys as a way to earn some money. Mugga became his family.

From setting up a massive trust fund for her as soon as they found out they were pregnant with her, to her parents forbidding her from dating on her own. Still to this day, her parents set her up on dates with men who deem acceptable to them and meet their standards. it’s always against her wishes but she has no choice. Micah always felt the pressure her family put on her, which caused her to act out and rebel behind their backs. Her parents always demanded her to go to college to become a doctor. A surgeon to be exact. Micah went to school but she never enjoyed any classes having to do with becoming a doctor nor was she interested in becoming one. Secretly withdrawing from the college of their choice, she ended up enrolling into cosmetology school, photoshopping a diploma 4 years later and telling her parents she didn’t want to walk the stage.
