Would it be too cliche to say 'it was a weekend like any other'? It truly was, at least for you.

"It's okay to not know." You whispered, trying to reassure him as best as you could. For just a moment, it was quiet, but you spoke up again not too long after.

You were practically drowning in work. You would've wished that it was an understatement, too. Finals were coming up, you had two reports, one analysis, and around three and a half essays to get done as final projects, and you were, to put it not so lightly, incredibly stressed. You'd been cooped up in your dorm room the past two weeks, cramming for anything and everything you could. And Taeyong didn't like it. You were pushing yourself far too hard, and sure, you may have needed to at times, but not twenty-four-seven. You still had three weeks of regular classes before all of your finals, anyway. So that's how you ended up here. In your brother's car, staring out of the window as he drove you the short distance to the company. They were all kind to you, with Johnny cracking a couple jokes as Haechan tried to make small talk with you, asking you how long you'd been a fan. They were surprised at how much younger than Taeyong you were, and you had to explain that technically, you were Taeyong's half brother, and that's part of why he was nearly ten years your senior. Everything seemed to be going well, though you were still very quiet and obviously a bit anxious.

And then Mark showed up.

You clapped ever so quietly every time they finished a song, and every time, Jaehyun and Doyoung would turn to you and dramatically bow as if they were in the curtain call of a terrible musical, attempting to make you smile or laugh. During a quick five-minute break that they were taking as you packed up your belongings, Mark approached you again, trying to break the ice a little bit. "So, uh... what are you majoring in?" He said before taking a quick sip of water. You froze up for a moment, because it was Mark Fucking Lee, and he was talking to you. Eventually, you told him, though your tone was a bit blunt. You had to head out quickly, so you gave Taeyong a quick side-hug, speaking softly as you said a general goodbye to everybody else. After that, you slipped out of the practice room and were on your way to class.

"Dude," Mark said as he tapped Johnny's shoulder. "Was he that, like... direct with you?" He asked quietly, not wanting Taeyong to hear and get overprotective or anything. He was just curious, he meant no harm.

"Not really. ...Maybe he's just a little bit extra nervous around you. You're pretty close to his age, after all." Johnny shrugged, cracking his knuckles.

"Yeah, but... I don't know, dude, they seemed fine with Haechan, and he's even closer in age to him than I am." He shook his head, unable to understand it. "Who knows. He might just think you're hot or something." Johnny replied as he got ready to continue with practice.

"...Woah." Mark was able to say aloud, though he wasn't able to think much more of it, as the short break was over and he needed to get back to practicing whatever they needed to brush up on.

You decided to listen to Taeyong, since it made him happy. Every morning, you took a little walk to the company, sitting in the practice room for an hour and half-watched, half-studied as they all did what they needed to do. After around a week and a half, you had warmed up to pretty much everyone. Taeyong was happy to see it. The only problem was... well, Mark. It wasn't even that you didn't want to be around him, it's that he always seemed to try to get you to warm up to him at the worst possible time.

The second day you'd gone, you ended up getting lost, taking a wrong turn and ending up in a different hallway. Mark had found you after coming out of what you could only assume was some sort of studio, leading you toward the practice room, trying to chat with you, to no avail, as even though you wanted to, you couldn't seem to get your brain working. A few days later, you were packing up your belongings when a bunch of papers fell out of your binder, all while Mark looked directly at you. It was probably the most embarrassing situation you'd ever been in, but Mark helped you pick up all of the papers, even trying to make sure they were sorted properly. You almost wished you'd had a shell, so you could pop into it and hide like a turtle. You thanked him with beet red cheeks before practically running out of the door.

He joked with the members, specifically Yuta and Johnny, that it was just because he was too smokin' and you were intimidated by the sheer hotness he exuded. The truth, though, was that he was actually terrified that you hated him. During a lunch break one day after you'd left, he sat next to Taeyong, nudging him to get his attention.

He tried to help reassure Mark, who seemed to struggle with wrapping his head around everything. He just didn't know how to get through to you.

After your first — and hardest — final, which took you a solid four hours to complete, you had showed up for your daily socializing timeslot pretty late. It was already around seven pm, and you were so tired that you'd nearly fallen asleep at least twice on the small couch provided in the practice room for quick breaks.

Taeyong, your vigilant and caring brother, had come up to you after a while and ruffled your hair a bit. "I'll get you some food, m'kay?" He was making sure you understood, so you nodded sleepily. "I'm gonna head out with the others to go eat. Mark's not hungry, so he'll hold down the fort. Don't hesitate to take a nap if you need to. I'll bring you back your favourite." He was so sweet sometimes. You thanked him quietly and pulled out your phone, trying to both stay awake and keep your mind off of the fact that you were going to be alone, in a room, with Mark, for at least an hour.

You just sat on your phone for around ten minutes to start, scrolling through whatever social media you felt like rotting your mind out with. Unknowingly, throughout those ten minutes, Mark was staring at you, as if telepathically trying to figure you out. You finally heard him stand up, and you glanced from your phone to see him walking toward you.

With a small wave of anxiety now building in your gut, you tried to stand up and keep some distance between you two, but Mark seemed to really, really want otherwise. Before you could stand, he basically jumped on you, pinning you down against the cushions of the couch as you blushed a violent red. You ended up letting out a small sound of surprise, trying to pry away from him. He was a bit stronger than you, though, and he was determined to know why you didn't like him.

"What's going on with you, dude?" Mark asked, truly curious. "You've warmed up to everybody else, but you're still all cold and shy with me. I don't get it. Did I do something wrong? I feel like I've tried everything... why do you still not like me?" He hit you with a barrage of questions, overwhelming your already tired mind. He seemed to be completely unaware of the fact that your faces were barely inches apart, his arms were on either side of your shoulders, and by all accounts, you were trapped in his arms. He kept asking you questions, talking way too much in an attempt to try and understand your thought process and why you seemed so distant from him.

"Please stop..." You finally gathered enough courage to squeak, hiding your face in your hands as you tried to steady your breathing. Being in this position with somebody who you'd had such a parasocial crush on for so long was sending you into a complete spiral, and Mark seemed to only now be realizing that.

"Oh, shit... dude, I... I didn't mean to freak you out, I'm sorry. I'm sorry." He finally realized his mistake and backed off a bit, which ended up with both of you on either side of the couch, with you curled up and blinking back the tears that had threatened to fall while Mark kept apologizing and trying to comfort you without getting too close and scaring you again.

"I do like you." You said after a few minutes of a tense silence. "That's the problem." You sat up a bit straighter and tried to be honest with Mark. "You... were always my favourite. So when I met you, I was too in awe to even think, and then... we just kept running into each other at the worst possible times, and every time you would be so helpful, and it would make my heart beat really fast and..." You paused to try and take a few deep breaths as you felt your panic rising. You woke up a little under an hour later to a loud, startling voice. "Ohh, cute!" You lifted your head, blinking the sleep from your eyes to see Yuta cooing at you and Mark. Haechan already had his phone out, snapping pictures of the two of you... less as a cute memory, and more as blackmail against Mark. Yuta's voice caught you off guard again, and when you turned your head, you saw your brother, looking furious; not at you, but Mark. "My little brother, Mark?" Taeyong mumbled through gritted teeth. You got up from where you were laying with Mark, patting his chest gently as you did so. "Well, I think that's my cue," You smiled, pressing a tiny kiss to Mark's cheek, chuckling as everybody — apart from Taeyong — seemed to melt at both the idea of Mark getting a bit of action, and you being a bit bold, in front of all of them. "See you later," You said to your brother as you grabbed your things. "See you, Mark," You added quickly, needing to get out of there before all hell broke loose. You didn't leave, though, before bringing your hand up to your face, your thumb at your ear and your pinky at your mouth, the rest of your fingers in a closed fist. Call me, you mouthed, and as terrified as Mark was at the wrath of your older brother, he found the courage to smile and nod.

To put it lightly, you were a little bit pissed off. Not necessarily at Shota, but... definitely at Shota. You were just outside, taking a nice little walk in the snow, when he decided to start throwing snowballs. At you. You told him to stop, but he didn't, and in the end, you both got sick; you, because he kept throwing snow at you, and him because he had been holding the snow with his bare hands... and maybe because you finally snapped and shoved some snow down the back of his shirt.

You had never taken Shota to be so much of a complainer. He usually knew how to find the positive in everything. But it seemed like the moment he started sniffling, he turned into a completely different person. For example, at the moment, he was draped across your back, hugging you tightly as you lazily bent over a pot of soup on the stove. You stirred the pot carefully, and whenever you had the audacity to shift, even just a bit, Shota would whine against your back, holding you tighter and complaining that you needed to stand still. Your eyes fluttered open as you heard Shota quietly rage at his computer. You were confused as to why he was even awake. Did he not still feel like absolute garbage? "Our chickens, silly." He emphasized, pointing at the screen. "Who is going to take care of our chickens— our children!" Now, he was just being stubborn. You shook your head softly, reaching over to your nightstand to grab the glass of water you had been nursing throughout the night due to your frequent coughing fits.

"You're going to feel like shit tomorrow." You only mumbled before passing back out for another few hours while Shota tended to your shared Minecraft base.

You woke up again, only slightly, when you felt him crawl back into bed, snuggling against you for warmth. He made sure that your arms were wrapped securely around him, making a few happy noises before settling and falling asleep in your embrace. Four more days, you could do this.

Surprisingly — not — your prediction was correct, and the next day, Shota felt worse than ever. He didn't even want to get out of bed. You called out to Jongseob, who stumbled into your room, half-asleep and very annoyed that you had chosen to wake him.

"What?" He asked, rubbing his eyes.

"Will you go out and get some medicine for me and Shota?" You asked, batting your eyelashes as if that would've convinced Jongseob.

"Absolutely not." He grumbled, turning to leave your room, but you interjected. "I'll give you my card and you can get food for everyone, too. Your pick." You desperately tried to convince him, as you did not feel like going outside, especially when Shota was like this. As much as you were upset with him for getting you sick, it was hard to be mad at him when he was clinging to you like a lost puppy, begging you to rub his back to make him feel marginally better.

"...Fine. I'm buying a fuckton of food, though." Jongseob snatched your wallet off of your bedside table, and you sighed. At least you would get medicine. Plus, maybe you would be able to use the whole 'buying food' part to your advantage at another time. Right now, you were just glad that you could convince Jongseob to buy some medicine.

As you waited, you decided to dote on Shota a little bit, rubbing his back and making sure he was comfortable and warm under the blankets before putting on a cute, silly, animated show; something that didn't need much brain power to understand, if any.

When Jongseob finally returned, tossing the medicine onto your bed and giggling about all of the food he bought, you practically had to force feed it to Shota, who wanted nothing to do with taking either liquid medicine or a pill. You finally got him to take it, and though he whined and grimaced, he was out like a light within half an hour, leaving you to finally get a bit of rest. It was all looking up; you could both totally be better within three days for the shoot.

Unfortunately, though Shota was feeling much better the next day, you, with all of your doting and worrying, felt awful. Shota decided, though, that it would be a good idea to drag you out of bed and into the bathroom, for whatever reason.

When you got into the bathroom, you noticed that Shota had run a bath, loading it up with bubble bath and keeping the lights dimmed slightly on account of your practically unending headache. Damn, now it was extra difficult to stay mad at him, especially when he was kissing your cheek and slipping your shirt over your head.

Shota was a completely different person when you finally slipped into the hot bath. He got in behind you and just hugged you for a few minutes, his arms around your torso and his chin resting on your shoulder. He hummed a little bit, and you couldn't help but relax against him. Moments like this nearly gave you whiplash, as you sometimes forgot how lovely he was with how silly he normally acted.

He washed your hair for you and massaged a lot of the tension out of your shoulders, humming gently as he did so. The raspberry scented bubble bath was hard to smell over how stuffed up you were, but the few slight whiffs of it were incredibly nice. The steam from the bath did help clear your sinuses a bit, too, and by the time Shota was drying you off, you actually felt human again. As long as you two took it easy tomorrow, the shoot in two days would be a piece of cake.

All day, you had been hanging out on the couch, doing nothing. You just napped, watched tv, scrolled whatever social media you felt like scrolling through. Shota had been doing his own thing, probably playing Minecraft again. You felt a lot better, and you were glad your plan was working.

Shota eventually padded into the main area of the apartment, still sniffling, but only slightly. You peeked out from behind your phone and he pulled your arms apart, carefully maneuvering himself to lay on top of you. You didn't question it, letting him cuddle with you and bury his face against your chest. He stayed like that for a moment, before whispering so quietly that if you'd had anything playing in the background, you wouldn't have heard it.

"Thank you for taking care of me." He mumbled, trying to pull you impossibly closer, as if he were trying to meld the two of you together. "I love you."

You smiled, tilting his head up so that he was looking at you. You brushed his hair out of his eyes and leaned your head forward to press a kiss to his forehead. "I love you too, you know I don't mind." You paused for a moment, before adding, "Thank you for taking care of me." His little smile was enough to make your heart flutter. "Plus," You continued, "I wanted to make sure we were both okay again for that shoot tomorrow."

Jongseob, who was sitting in another seat nearby, glanced up from his phone as his eyebrows furrowed. "Tomorrow? ...We're not shooting that music video until next week."

Now, you were a little bit pissed off for an entirely different reason.

hello kill bill keeho anon (thats a mouthful btw ahaa) here I'm backk with another order :DD

ive been watching the new piwon videos and seeing jiung be his fabulous chef self gave me an idea that a sickfic with him could potentially be super cute.

but then i got struck with the real revelation. soul x y/n (7th member again sorry im such a sucker for 7th member scenarios) sick flop duo. they both got sick after some wacky hijinks while filming (like running in the snow barefoot and falling down, soul what were you DOING) and are now stuck in their dorm helping eachother get through the illness. bonus points if theyre on a timer cause of an upcoming important performance or something.

i dont have any specific requests for what they could be doing, you can toss them around like silly little puppets. they could be lazily playing minecraft together, asking jongseob for medicine, they could try cooking for eachother and fail rather miserably, ect. i just think two sick losers trying to take care of eachother despite being equally ill could be adorable..

hi! for requests, do u take multiple or just one at a time?

hii !! i don't exactly know what you mean by this, so i'll answer it in a couple different ways to try to cover all of the bases !! :D

if you mean sending in a few asks in succession, i don't mind, as long as you're not spamming my inbox. i'd say keep it to maybe three-ish tops? i'd love to hear your ideas, but i still am only one guy ! go for it, otherwise ! :)

if you mean a few different requests in one ask, again, that's no problem !! for something like that, though, it would be more beneficial for it to be limited to one group. if you have the same request but you'd be okay with it being attached to a few different groups, that's totally cool ! if there are multiple different requests/scenarios with different groups, though, it would be better if it was just a separate ask ! :D

if you mean "would i/do i work on multiple requests at one time" i don't, really. i have a pretty bad attention span, so it's more beneficial for me to sit and write all in one sitting, rather than have multiple wips that i would inevitably forget about.

It was probably about the hundredth time he'd asked; and that was no exaggeration. It had been happening for the past week. Keeho would come up to you, drop to his knees if he could, clasp his hands together as if he were praying — the more you thought about it, he probably was — and just beg you to be a part of his solo stage. He had tried everything, too. He asked nicely, he asked not so nicely, he tried to be commanding, he tried to be cute, he tried to be funny... but you just weren't budging.

You had heard him practicing the song one day and decided to sneak in and listen. You had always loved his voice, after all. So you leaned on the doorframe as he sang. The words flowed from his lips like honey, and you sighed softly at how soothing his voice was when he wasn't being unreasonably loud or silly.

You clapped a bit as he finished singing, startling him. Soon, though, he smiled, and a light dusting of pink settled on his cheeks.

"Did that change your mind?" He suddenly asked, and though you wanted to pretend like you didn't, you knew exactly what he was talking about.

"How about this," You began in that slightly raspy baritone that everybody seemed to love so much. "I'll sit in once. Just to hear you."

You could've sworn that Keeho had just received all of the wealth in the world. His eyes lit up and he pulled you in for a tight hug. You were never the greatest with physical affection, but you had to admit, seeing him happy made your heart skip a beat. "I love you." You suddenly heard him mumble from where he was buried into your chest, his voice muffled, but just as strong and sincere as ever.

"I love you," You whispered in return. He was so persuasive. What had you gotten yourself into?

Soon enough, you were travelling around, and he asked nearly every morning if today was the day that you were going to sit in. Every day, you shook your head, and he began to worry that maybe you had lied to him to get him to stop talking.

It seemed like out of nowhere, it was the final day of the entire tour. He came up to you that morning with almost sad eyes, and you held his face gently, running your thumb over his cheekbones as you spoke. "We made a deal, didn't we?" You leaned in and quickly pecked the tip of his nose, and he instantly perked up. He was so excited, he was practically bouncing off of the walls, telling the rest of the members — hell, telling pretty much anyone that would listen — that you had actually agreed and how he was right, even though nobody believed him. Nobody was actually just Theo and Jiung, but he didn't care. He got to stick it in their faces, now.

That night, the show went on as per usual. But, of course, the solo stages swung to the forefront, and you were now sitting down on a small stool on center stage, thousands of cheers ringing out around you as the fans saw not only Keeho onstage, but you as well. You apprehensively smiled, as if trying to silently communicate to every P1ece in the crowd that no, you're not here by choice. you're here because Keeho annoyed you into agreeing to be here.

Yet, you heard that honey-like voice ring out again, and your expression immediately softened. You could picture it even now; tiktoks posted with the caption being 'He has such a soft spot for Keeho', the clip being used in youtube compilations with text popping up on screen saying that they totally shipped you two. You chuckled to yourself

You didn't have much time to think about it, though, because Keeho was suddenly right next to you, tilting your chin up to look at him as he stared back down at you with his lovely, bright smile.

"I might kill my ex, not the best idea," He sang, carefully tapping the end of your nose with the tip of his finger, obviously teasing you. "His new girlfriend's next, how'd I get here?" His voice dripped with happiness and the most subtle type of love that you had learned to pick up on. He was singing the original lyrics, that cheeky bastard. He had swapped the gender of them for every other show, but no, he was very obviously singing the original lyrics.

This continued, too. He pinched your cheeks, grabbed the collar of your shirt to pull you closer, and was an overall menace as he continued to sing sweetly, close enough to your ear at times that you could hear his natural voice, not heightened or reverberated by the microphone and pa system.

"I did it all for love" He placed a hand-heart against your cheek.

"I did all of this on no drugs, I did this sober" He grabbed his usual prop, the sword, from one of his belt loops. "Don't you know I did it all for us?" He pretended to stab you with the sword as he continued to sing, plunging it between your arm and your torso to make it seem like he stabbed you in the stomach. Honestly, you couldn't help but play along. He was just having so much fun, you had to crack a smile at how silly he was. You doubled over and clutched your stomach, trying to refrain from laughing as he looked back at you and laughed into the mic mid-lyric.

When the song came to a close, the crowd cheered thunderously, and Keeho dropped his prop and jogged over to you, hugging you from where you sat.

Later that night, long after the concert was over and you were back in your hotel rooms, Keeho knocked on your door. His hair was damp and the faint scent of a sweet-smelling body wash lingered on his skin. He was smiling brightly when you opened the door, and He immediately hugged you again.

"You killed it out there." He mumbled as he buried his face into the crook of your neck, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist.

"How much do you wanna bet somebody's gonna start a rumour that we're dating because of that performance?" You chuckled, pulling him into your room and shutting the door behind you as he dragged you over to the plush hotel bed.

"Well, they wouldn't really be wrong, would they?" Keeho retaliated as he flopped down on the mattress, smiling when he heard the laugh that so rarely slipped out of you. "...Thank you." He whispered, suddenly serious. He held onto your hands, bringing them up to his lips to kiss your knuckles. You laid down next to him and he pulled you close settling under the covers. Of course, he wasn't going to sleep in his own bed. You should've known better.

"You're never gonna be my ex." He mumbled, already half asleep due to your warmth and the exertion of the day.

"Is that so?" You responded with a chuckle, slipping under the covers yourself as exhaustion began to overcome you, as well.

"I'm gonna make sure of it." Keeho yawned. He shut his eyes and cuddled up to you, finally quieting down for the day as he slipped deeper into sleep.

"If you insist." You replied, your hand finding its way into his hair before you, too, succumbed to the sweetness of your life on hold as you rested next to Keeho.
