the crt pixel art thing was odd. like, "some effects were made with CRT displays in mind and don't necessarily translate in direct emulation on digital hardware" somehow turned into "modern retro indie games are LYING TO YOU and EVERY NES GAME LOOKED LIKE A CARTOON YOU CAN MAGICALLY CONTROL" even though some pixel art in old games definitely still looked like pixels on crt screens and the smoothed over look wasn't universal

i love truck stops in winter bc i love a little good old fashioned reconnaissance. i’m at a wyoming truck stop eating taco bell with a bunch of random truckers discussing road conditions like we’re in a high fantasy tavern & inn and we’re warning each other about monsters and highway men. everyone talking about where we’re coming from and going to and how bad it’ll be getting there.

THE tallest man i’ve ever seen in real life just stopped me in the hallway by the coin operated laundry apropos of nothing and asked “which direction are you going?” i said east and he said “good” and walked away.

i caught up with him and asked why and he said “west’s no good right now. i just came from there.”

apparently a truck jackknifed and has traffic backed up ten miles but he sounded for all the world like he just found his village raised to the ground by an evil mage’s army

A majority of my discography is now FREE for download

Hey everyone! Just letting you know I'm officially setting the majority of my discography on bandcamp to "name your price." This is to say most of my music can be downloaded (more or less) for FREE on bandcamp as high-quality MP3s. You may of course still buy them for an amount of money if you wish to support me, however I wanted to make my stuff more accessible for people to use and I felt like this was a good way of doing it --

My most recent releases (16-DUODYME) will remain at a set price for now, however this is subject to change as time goes on. Some of these (Like Breadth III) have been set to a reduced price as well. You can download my music on bandcamp here:
